Evelyn Crewe - March 29, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
When it comes to horror movies, people think of sitting in a dark room with someone you like, a blanket wrapped around her and a bowl of popcorn not too far away. Whenever something particularly frightening pops up, you get closer to that certain someone and no one would think any less of you. Maybe if you start making out and are no longer paying attention to the plotline, then people might start whispering and pointing, but the possibility of them either doing the same thing or being so absorbed in whether or not the Creature from the Black Lagoon is going to eat the damsel in distress that they don't notice are both more likely.

Still, for some reason, Evelyn walked up the bleachers of the Outdoor Theatre alone. There were two logical explanations for this; one, her friends had seen the commercials for the movie and didn't want to get scared out of their wits and two, the others were just too busy or going with someone else. Either way, it didn't matter to her. Evie loved scary movies. She was just odd like that, don't ask why. So when the Outdoor Theatre advertised a remake of the classic movie It, based off the book of Stephen King, she couldn't help but go.

Clad in a pair of dark blue jeans and a fitted white tee with the Coca-Cola logo printed across the front in fancy red lettering, which was overlapped by a black jacket, Evie sat at the top of the bleachers. She set her popcorn and rootbeet down beside her and got ready for the movie, which meant unfolding her green and black John Deer blanket she made herself last weeked (the product of being incredibly bored). She wrapped it around herself and leaned against the bars behind her, took a sip of her rootbeer, and waited for the movie to start.

Chris Teresacca - March 30, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
Chris casually walked into the small parking lot where the outdoor theatre was located and came up to a booth. He paid the fee and moved inside. This was one of the only times he came alone, and to tell you the truth ... he didn't really mind. He was fed up with the little girls he'd been dating the past couple months. He wanted a nice, mature ... woman to meet his needs. He sighed as a face shown across the inside of his eyes. Evelyn. He sighed again and walked over to a small popcorn booth and got a medium popcorn and a can of Mountain Dew. He sighed and made his way to the bleachers, when he saw a back he could recognize anywhere. He knew that she enjoyed movies, but didn't know that she would be here. He too, enjoyed scary movies, as well.

"Evelyn." he whispered, coming up behind her. "Darhling." he said in a gay voice and flipped out his right hand. He smiled and made his way to the side of the bleachers. He walked up and took a seat beside her. "Hello, gorgeous" he said, and gave her a slight peck on the lips. God, how he wished how he could feel her mouth on his again, feel her under his arms, feel the tenderness of her touch.

Waking up from his daydream (a good one infact), he looked down at the outfit for the day. A pair of dark wash slightly loose jeans and a cotton red button up over a white King's Dominion shirt that had King's Dominion written in red in curly cursive letters.

Evelyn Crewe - March 31, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
Evelyn grinned and shook her head at Chris' choice of greeting in what seemed to be the gayest voice he could think up. "Keep talking that way and you are going to get more attention, and not just from the ladies." she warned him as he got close enough to hear her. Then, once again with their traditional quick kiss. This seemed to be expected now everytime they came across one another, though that was fine with her.

"Gorgeous?" she asked, tapping a finger on her lips thoughtfully. "Hmm. I like that. Keep calling me that, okay?" How was it that he always managed to turn up wherever she was? It was like he had some sort of sixth sense. Either that, or he was stalking her. She chuckled at the thought before voicing it to Chris. "You know, I'm beginning to think that you are stalking me." she teased, nudging him on the shoulder with a slight smile.

Chris Teresacca - April 1, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
"How do you know I don't want that kind of attention?" he said, smiling. He saw the expression on her face ((Sorry for god-mod)) and smiled. "I'm just kidding." he said. He smiled at her comment about the name gorgeous. "Okay, gorgeous." he said, smiling down at her.

He smiled and raised an eyebrow to her stalker comment. "Oh my gosh! How did you know?!?" he said, trying to act serious, but ending with a laugh. "Well ... would you be able to blame someone that was." he said, smiling. He knew he wasn't stalking her, but he too wondered how they always ended up in the same place. "You know, I think you're stalking me ..." he said, looking at her and smiling. "Of course, I can't blame you." he said, motioning to himself.

Chris was actually alot more insecure than he let people think. Sure, he played it like he thought he was all that ... and a bag of potoato chips. But, in all seriousness, he thought he looked kind of wimpy. He definitley wasn't, but he didn't believe that. He sighed and waited for some kind of Evie-ish comment. "Anyways, what are you doing here all alone? I thought for sure you would have a guy here with you or atleast one of the girls."

Evelyn Crewe - April 2, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
(It's fine. ^^)

Although she figured he was probably just kidding, Evelyn couldn't help but allow an expression that consisted both of shock and horror to creep onto her face, her mouth forming a small "O" before she closed it. "I always thought you were a bit odd." she said with a slight grin.

She rolled her eyes at his comment about her stalking him. He was so full of himself. But rather than point out his faked arrogance, simply because it was just that, faked, she went along with it. "Ha. If I were stalking you, bud, you would know it." Evie laughed, "You'd have to lock your door and windows at night or something. I go all out when I stalk people." she added.

"Well, isn't it obvious? I knew you would come along at some point, and when you did," she paused, leaning her face in closer to his, "I didn't want anyone else to be around." She pulled back away, though a coy smile was playing on her lips, one eyebrow slightly raised. "Well, that, and no one was that into freaky movies."

Chris Teresacca - April 3, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
"That's good to know ... I might just have to start locking my doors, or maybe ... I'll just leave them wide open and leave a note on the door that says, "You are welcome ... come on in .." he smiled and thought about how stupid the comment was. He shrugged slightly and kept his gaze on her gorgeous body before his.

"Well ... I'm here." he said about him showing up. Then, she leaned close to him, her lips centimeters from his face. He felt a chill shoot up his back as he felt her warm breath against his face, the feel and essence of her face being so close to his. He smiled, nervously as she pulled away. Oh, how he wished he could have grabbed the back of her neck as she was sitting there, graze his hands up and down her back, feel her warm lips against his own. Feel her touch. He shivered slightly and heard her comment about no one else wanting to come. "Oh, so I guess I'm just not good enough to come to the movies for." he said, smiling slightly and wrapping his arm around her lower back, pulling her closer.

Evelyn Crewe - April 4, 2007 12:58 AM (GMT)
Evelyn laughed. "Yeah, I'm sure that would work out well." she said, rolling her eyes as she ran through that scenario in her head. She just might have to sneak into his room some time just to freak him out or something. Then again, knowing him, he'd be all ready for her. She grinned at the prospect.

Evie didn't say anything in protest when he put his arm around her and indeed scooted a little closer. "I'm sorry," she said, pouting her lower lips ever so slightly. "I don't know why I didn't come to you. I should have known, huh?" She paused, choosing her next words carefully. "Well..." she continued, scooting over a little more, "is there any way I can make it up to you?"

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
He smiled as she scooted closer to him and wrapped his arm around her tighter. "Yeah, you should have known." He felt her thigh get even closer to his and he felt a rush go through his chest ... through his back ... through his ... erm .. well. He kind of just looked into her deep, gorgeous eyes and smiled. "Oh, I can think of a couple things." he said, moving his face to point downward to her until his nose was against hers.

He slowly moved his face closer and closer to hers until his mouth was pressed against hers. He felt a shock of energy run through his body. He didn't want to pull away, he wouldn't. He felt his hands run up her back until he had his hand against the back of her neck and the other one on her back, pulling her closer. He slowly opened his mouth ... hoping ... praying ... that she wouldn't push him away.

Evelyn Crewe - April 5, 2007 03:48 AM (GMT)
Evelyn allowed a small grin to creep onto her face as he followed her lead and leaned in closer. She tilted her head to one side slightly, not doing anything in protest when he softly placed his lips against her own. Already she was taken back to when they had first kissed, in the library if she remembered correctly. It was completely unexpected, but like now, wasn't completely unwelcomed.

As his hand went to her back and slowly up so that it was behind her neck, one of her own went up to his face, resting against his cheek. She smiled mentally at the slight stubble she felt there. Her other hand currently rested on his knee, though it was slowly working its way up. As the kiss deepened, she did hesitate at all to open her mouth a little more. From that moment, she became oblivious to everything and everyone else around her, even that fact that the voices had died down and the movie was starting. Not that she cared anyway. She already knew what happened at the end, and it wasn't nearly as important as this.

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 02:06 PM (GMT)
He continued to kiss her, deeper and more content now. He gently pulled away, still holding onto the back of her neck and smiled into her gorgeous eyes. ... Wow ... he thought to himself silently. He continued to smile until he felt his face gently guide its way back to hers, his mouth again taking a mind of its own. He felt more energy than he had felt for a long time, since the time in the library. He smiled and lost all thoughts in the kiss. He felt his mouth get more and more involved with the act at hand and ran his hand that was now on her back, up and down the small of her back.

Gosh, Why had he waited so long to do this again, why hadn't he made his move sooner. He again lost his thoughts and just let himself be indulged by the kiss.

Evelyn Crewe - April 6, 2007 12:30 AM (GMT)
When he pulled away, Evie's eyes fluttered back open and she found herself looking at him in a whole new way. Sure, they had been friends for a while now, more than friends actually, and she had always harbored a secret crush on him, but that crush was turning into something much more now. Now that she saw he returned the affection, she realized there was no turning back now. This thought both excited her and made her slightly nervous. What if this was just another of his nightly escapades that he had made with numerous girls? Was she just another notch in the belt? She didn't want to fully commit to anything when there was still that doubt which lingered in the back of her mind.

But as he closed the space between them and again kissed her, more deeply this time, all those thoughts just went away. Her hand that had previously been on his knee went up to his chest, running up until she reached his shoulder and pulled him closer. Her mouth had opened up completely to him and she was almost a bit suprised at her own deepening passion and the almost desperate hunger that she felt would never be satisfied if they pulled away again. If she had one wish right now, it would be to stop the moon so that this night would never end. Cheesy, yes, but still.

Chris Teresacca - April 6, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
(( I'm at Hale's !!))

He felt his body go limp as she moved her hand up to his chest. He knew that this was different from every other girl that he had ever been with. This just wasn't a 'for now' thing. This was it. He knew how he felt about her, and he knew that wouldn't change. He wrapped his arms around her tighter, bringing her as close to him as possible and losing himself in the deepness and intenseness of his feelings toward her. He gently pulled away and gazed into her gorgeous face, feeling his whole body going numb. He knew how he felt, and could feel that she felt the same way. "... Evelyn ..." he said, looking at her passionately. "I don't want things to go back to the way they were." he said, hoping and praying she felt the same way. "I don't think I could live if we just went home after this movie and pretended none of this happened like at the library. I want to remember this, and act on it."

He hoped deeply that she felt the same way, and he had a feeling she did.

Evelyn Crewe - April 6, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
When they pulled apart for a second time, Evie was worried that she'd get his usual grin and then they'd cuddle for a few moments and go back to watching the movie or something. That was how things normally went after they had done something similar to this. But instead, it was the exact opposite. Her eyes grew a little larger and her mouth opened slightly as she realized what he was saying.

"I... uh..." was all she could manage. Come on, girl! This is your chance! Don't you dare blow it now. Evelyn closed her mouth and swallowed all of her suprise, regaining her composure, and then replied, her voice much stronger. "I don't want things to go back to that way either." she said quietly, placing a hand on his cheek and looking him straight in the eye. "I've liked you as more than just an occasional fling or friendly hug for a while now. I just... I didn't know how you felt and I didn't want to ruin everything." she said. She opened her mouth to speak again but decided against it. She didn't want to ramble on and on, after all. So she closed her mouth once more and waited for a reply, hoping that this wasn't all a dream.

Chris Teresacca - April 7, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
He became very nervous as she opened her mouth and all that came out was ... 'uh.' He hoped that he hand't screwed everything up and he felt his muscles clench as he waited for her to say something, anything other than that. He wanted to be with her, hug her, kiss her. God ... please say something ... he thought to himself.

He felt the warmness of her hand against his face as he listened to her words. "Evie ... I felt the same way about you, and thought the same. But, listen, you're not going to ruin this. And I want this to happen, I really do. I want to be able to walk up to you every day from now on and be able to kiss you just like this, and show you how much I care for you, and actually mean it, and not just in a friendly way either." he felt his face turn into a small, gentle smile as he watched a piece of hair fall over her face. He gently brushed it away and awaited her answer, his hand still on the back of her neck.

Evelyn Crewe - April 7, 2007 01:56 AM (GMT)
Once again, Evelyn was at a lost for words. No one had ever said anything like that to her before and for a moment, she was convinced that in a few moments she would wake up to the sound of her alarm clock and head off to her first hour class, all of this just being a dream. One lovely, amazing dream, but a dream no less.

"Every girl wants to hear someone say that to her at some point in their life," she started after she had thought up a satisfactory reply. "I just had no idea it would come so soon." She paused, wondering if it was the right time to say this now. Well, Evie, she thought there's no point in turning back now. "I love you, Chris. I think... I think I always have."

Chris Teresacca - April 7, 2007 02:00 AM (GMT)
He felt his heart flutter (yes, flutter) at the sound of her voice saying those three lovely words. To him, at that. He wanted to jump up and down, but found that ... odd. He smiled brightly. "Well, Ms. Evelyn Crewe. I believe I love you also." and at that, he took her into his arms again and began kissing her like he had never kissed before.

He wondered what could happen of this. He had never felt this way about anyone before. Except for his sister, who he loved, but definitely not in this way.

Evelyn Crewe - April 7, 2007 02:13 AM (GMT)
Evelyn barely had time to smile at his words before she found herself once more being pulled into a passionate embrace. She wrapped her arms around him so that her body was close up against his and she didn't want to let go. She returned the kiss with urgency, once again suprising herself tonight, though she guessed that it wouldn't be the last time either if things continued with the way they were going.

Chris Teresacca - April 7, 2007 02:21 AM (GMT)
He wondered to himself where this night would lead. He should probably definitely take her back to her dorm, he decided. And, well, from there they would decipher at the time came. After all, it was up to her. But, then he thought about the whole stalker comment with him leaving his door opened. He laughed in his head and then turned his concentration back to the kiss.

He gently, reluctlantly pulled away and stared into Evie's face, not sure what to say or do. He didn't want this moment to end, he loved her. He LOVED her. He smiled at the thought and wonder how this happened. So much had occurred in one night, and in less than 2 hours. The movie was almost over now, and he wondered when it would end.

Evelyn Crewe - April 8, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
There were a million different thoughts going through Evelyn's head as they once again seperated, most of them centered around where all of this was headed. This wasn't the end, she knew that for sure. This wasn't just some drunken confession of infatuation; this was the real deal. So she simply voiced the main question going through both their heads: "Now what?" she asked with a hint of a smile.

Out of the corner of her eye she watched as people stood and left, commenting on the movie and their favorite parts. She wasn't at all disappointed that she would be clueless tomorrow when everybody asked her how it was. She could always BS her way through the conversations. Besides, she had a much better night than expected. "So are we gonna sit out here all night, or do you have better plans?" she asked, turning back to Chris.

Chris Teresacca - April 8, 2007 06:25 PM (GMT)
He sighed and thought about what they could do. They could go out to eat ... go walk around ... anything. After all, it was only ... Chris glanced down at his watch. 10?!? Damn, it got late fast. "Well, I could walk you back to your dorm?" he said, smiling and wishing that it wasn't so late. "Or ... we could walk around campus." He knew that their curfew to be back on campus was 9:30 and it just happened of course that it was past that time. They had security guards outside the gates this late.

Evelyn Crewe - April 12, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
Evelyn pursed her lips as she considered the options. She wasn't ready to head back to her dorm, not yet anyway. And besides, it was a rather pleasant night, not a cloud in the sky to cover up a single star. "A walk sounds good. I'm sure we'll find our way back to the dorms eventually." she said, standing up and folding her blanket. "Besides, there is only so many places to walk around campus, especially since it is half and hour past our curfew." she added with a smile.

Chris Teresacca - April 12, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
"Yeah." he said as he watched her fold up her blanket. He smiled and looked around, watching several people leaving. He ran his hand down the found of his shirt to smoothen it and then tugged on the bottom of his button up. He then ran his fingers through his hair and looked at Evelyn questioningly. "Have any place specific you'd like to go?" he said, figuring that they'd probably end up wandering around the campus, after all, they didn't have to be back in their dorms until 4 in the morning, and even if they got there earlier ... the guys were aloud in the girl's dorms if you were in college. So, either way, they'd be spending time together.

He grinned and looked to Evie, awaiting her answer.

Evelyn Crewe - April 17, 2007 05:30 AM (GMT)
(My apologies for the crappiness of my post. My muse has died... but I felt like I should get a post or two in. ^^)

Evelyn shrugged as she started to head down the bleachers, glancing over her shoulder to make sure Chris was following suit. "I dunno. Anywhere, really. It'll just be nice to walk around." she replied. Most every time she sat down for a long period of time, whether on a plane ride, road trip, or in a case such as this where she was watching a movie, she liked to get up and stretch her legs for a while afterward. "What about you?" she asked, turning the question to him.

Chris Teresacca - April 17, 2007 03:49 PM (GMT)
Chris grinned and turned to her. "Well, you'll just have to wait and find out." He smiled to her and walked down behind her. When they got down to the bottom of the bleachers, he took her hand in his and brought it up to his lips, kissing it for a moment before lowering it and intwining his fingers in his. He led her out of the parking lot and towards the woods.

Evelyn Crewe - April 20, 2007 04:16 AM (GMT)
Evelyn glanced up at Chris momentarily as she felt his hand grab her own, a smile forming on her lips. She returned her gaze forward, noting that they were headed toward the wood. She raised a curious eyebrow, looking around them instinctivly to see if anyone had seen them head this way rather than back toward the dorms. No one seemed to have noticed. "So... I assume you have some sort of plan as to where we are going?" she asked with a grin as they continued toward the forest.

Chris Teresacca - April 20, 2007 03:43 PM (GMT)
"Well ... not really." he said with a slight smirk. He continued to guide her towards the wood. When they finally reached it, he paused for a moment. He smiled down at her and then looked back to the little path that was ahead them. He looked back down into the wood and saw that the deeper you got, the darker it got. He turned his vision to the things surrounding him and then back to the path. He then, slightly tightening his hand around Evelyn's, started down the path.

(For some reason, that reminded me of The Wizard of Oz's 'yellow brick road. "We're off to see the wizard ..." lol.)
