| Strolling into the dorm building, Stephen smiled to himself. Today would indeed be interesting. Today was the day that he would meet his room-mate. The person he shared a room with, he would be seeing them every single day. Of course he would see them all the time. They would be living together after all. Stephen hoped to God that it wasn't someone he hated. Sharing a room with someone you hated was never really a good thing. On this particular day, Stephen had actually thought before he chose clothing out. Yes, it was weird, but he figured he might as well wear clean clothes. Did he want to make a good impression on his new room mate? Not really... It was utterly against Stephens' nature to care what other people thought. Seriously, it just didn't happen for Stephen. Moving onto what he had actually chosen to wear. Stephen was wearing blue jeans, black runners, and a plain black T-shirt. On his head was, of course, the hat. THE hat. It was Stephens' only hat with writing on it. Well, the first one he had ever bought with writing on it. This one was black, but the front was white and said "The child of doom". One of his friends, who happened to be a girl, had made it for him a long time ago. Back when he started to get into the 'bad stuff' as his mother called it. The girl who had made it for him, Caitlin, thought it would be hilarious to make a hat telling the world that Stephen was a problem child. Actually, Stephen found it rather amusing. Walking over towards the 'reception' area, Stephen pulled his hat down low over his blue eyes. Reaching the secretary, Stephen asked her "Stephen Kaiser... where am I going?" The secretary looked at him for a moment before realizing he was asking for his room number and information. "Oh, let me look, give me a second..." She flipped through a few pages before pulling out one and handing it to him "Room 100, all the information is on that page there. Have a nice day" She smiled at Stephen, obviously telling him that it was time for him to go. With no thank you, Stephen headed off towards 100. Stopping in his tracks, Stephen let out a groan as he read the name printed on the paper in bold font. Nikkos Stephens. The irony of Nikkos's last name didnt even occur to Stephen. No, Stephen knew that Nikkos was the guy he had met in the principals' office not that long ago. The one Ezzie seemed to hate. Stephen had to admit he wasn't that fond of the guy either. But here it was, the faculty had somehow decided to place Stephen with Nikkos. Of course. Stupid system. Finding room 100, Stephen slowly pushed the door open. Hoping, praying even, that there had been a mistake. He would open the door and find an old friend there. Even if it was someone Stephen didn't know. Anything but Nikkos. But no, there Nikkos was, alright. Sitting in his chair, reading a heavy looking book. Not really knowing what else to do, Stephen just stood in the doorway. Waiting, wondering what Nikkos would do next. |
