The lake wasn't particularly busy right now. If anything, it was the oppisite in the early hours of the morning. Apparently teenagers preferred to sleep as they recovered from a hangover. But not Kail, for he wasn't recovering from a hang over, he had came to read and the lake was the perfect place to do it.
He quietly strolled, his comic book almost stitched to his hand as the tips of his fingers had turned white off the hardness that he was holding it. It was very precious to him and had taken him over a year to find; it was his favourite by far. But all comics were important to Kail. They held this amazing world which he could dive in and out of whenever reality got too hard to face. They were like an escape where his life could become consumed by superheroes and vampires and exciting tales and stories. If anything, his comic collection was most possibly the greatest thing he had stuck at. They filled him with such happiness when he was sad. They could relax him like nothing else. As if he was listening to a fantastic song, a smooth one, which would take him to the clouds and allow him to fly. Although he was sitting in the same place, a comic could take him where nothing else could and that's why he needed them.
Finally, as he approached a nice spot which overlooked the lake and the slowly occuring sunrise, Kail sat down and heaved a light breath. There was something amazing about seeing the sunrise, it was possibly one of the most beautiful things and it was time when you could just breathe and forget everything. He smiled peacefully and hugged his knes up to his body as he watched it, the slight breeze blowing through his blonde hair, his blue eyes entranced.
