Michelle loved October – it always has been her favorite, and it probably always will. Why, you may ask? Well, Halloween for one; another is the weather…you just never knew what it would bring. Therefore, it meant that the October Movie-Fest would be even greater, because it was a movie fest. Who didn’t love those?

So Elle Grace left her dorm room in a happy daze, trying to figure out what movies they would be playing – new or old? There had been a poster in the dorm hallway that she had spotted earlier, saying that tonight would be Steven King’s ‘Pet Semetary.’ That was probably one of her favorite horror movies ever made, between that and Steven King’s ‘Secret Window;’ but that wasn’t exactly “scary,” so she would live with her favorite.

When Elle had approached the small ticket window, she saw that they had a merchandise booth set up; that’s cool. After taking the little blue ticket from the man, she walked towards the freaky, gazing green eyes of a stuffed cat – Church. “Awww…” she said, picking it up and feeling its dark grey fur. Damn that’s creepy, she thought as she put it down and picked up a flimsy old copy of the book. She opened it to the first page, finding the scraggly script of none other than Steven King himself. “No fucking way!” She said, a little louder than necessary.

After buying the $24.95 copy of the /cough/ signed version of, not only her favorite movie, but her favorite book. Walking along, brushing the small specks of dirt off of her favorite pair of ripped Rock & Republic jeans and pulling her dark blue hoodie tighter around her, she sat down in one of the first seats, right in front of the screen. There was no way this could get better…or was there?

It wasn't that he really wanted to see the movie or anything, I guess it was the fact that a good chunk of the student body would be attending, most to get the recent ... events out of their minds. And that good chunk would indeed include single girls he hadn't spoken to yet. If not? Well, he always had his adoring fan club. Speaking of which ...

Micah lands pulled his black razr out of his hoodie pocket … only, it wasn’t really black on the outside anymore. Nope, he’d gotten another cover for the thing, this one white with what they called ‘ice flames’ on e-bay. He gazed at the screen as he opened it up, holding it up to listen to a group of excited girls squeal “We love you Micah!” He chuckled and answered that he loved them too, pocketing his phone again as they giggled and hung up.

Underclassmen. They were so easy to excite. Their hearts would be fluttering for days. Micah laughed to himself, shaking his head slightly as he continued walking through the Courtyard. He raised his hood-covered head, looking from the ground before him to the tent they had set up a few days ago. Making his way past said tent, he glanced – uninterested – at the ‘random objects table’ they’d set up.

He leaned his back against one of the metal poles supporting said tent, discreetly observing the rows before the screen … and the few people filling them. It wasn’t late enough, yet, I guess, or … maybe a bunch of kids were waiting for the next film or something. Hell if he knew. Nonetheless, he spotted a girl seated at the front, obviously alone. He had a good eye?

Anyway, he slowly made his way to where she was sitting, hands stuffed in his white hoodie pocket, red-tipped dark brown bangs sticking out of the hood resting on his head. “You know it’s really loud up here, right?” he grinned down at her, tilting his head to the speakers they’d set up some few yards away.
