Title: &The cut runs_[D.E.E.P]
Description: Tag;; Glitch && Nikkos

Stephen Kaiser - May 6, 2007 11:03 PM (GMT)
The blood was starting to stain the bandana. The bandana that was wrapped tightly around his wrist was black and red, though now it was mostly red. 'It's a good thing I didn't have to pay for this....' Hey, was it really Stephens' fault if the security at Spencers' was pretty much non-existant? Stephen didn't think so.

With Glitch walking next to him, Stephen entered the clinic. Though Glitch had insisted on getting Stephen some medical attention, he had flat out refused to go to the hospital. I mean, they could administer rabies shots at a local clinic, couldn't they? After all, that was pretty much Stephens' main concern. He didn't know who that Ali was. Though, she seemed okay with Glitch. So she couldn't be that bad. None the less, Stephen made his way over to the receptionist. Stephen didn't recognize her, but that didn't surprise him. Having only lived here for about a week, there wern't many people Stephen knew.

"Hi, I, umm, need some help." Stephen half muttered, holding up his right wrist. A shocked look crossed the recptionists face for a minute. Was it the fact that his wrist was covered with a bandana that was now bloody? Yeah, that might have something to do with it. Before she even asked, Stephen filled her in "I kind of.. got bitten... by, a girl." Looking down at his feet, Stephen felt his face grow slightly warm. Why was it so hard for him to admit that? It wasn't like Ali was worth getting embaressed over.

((Order: Stephen, Glitch, Nikkos. Oh, and the receptionist/people waiting are under everyones' control.))

Glitch Richter - May 7, 2007 10:08 AM (GMT)
Glitch laughs a little at Stephen, unable to help it. That was definately a conversation piece. You coud ahve a long conversation about how nad why and it would always be funny. She turns and leans her nack against the counter, smiling at Stephen.

She noticed the red on his face nad she smiles again, giving his shoulder a light squeeze. "Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I've come in for far more embarassing things. So, don't sweat it. And I promise, Ali has no deadly diseases or anything." SHe bites her lip, thinking. "That I'm aware of."

Nikkos Stephens - May 7, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
It wasn't that he was all that bored, you could say. He just had nothing else to do, and all the other employees and 'doctors-in-training' obviously had something to do, because--well, quite frankly--they were nowhere to be seen. So, naturally with Nikkos being the caring person he was, he exited his room and began wandering casually down the back hallways and toward the front desk.

It was odd how they'd set the place up, but then again, I guess it wasn't. There was the lobby and the waiting room--sick or healthy, mind you--and then there was a rather large wall. Well ... one of those walls that ran the length of the end of the waiting room. There was a door near the center of said wall, and to the left of the door ... well, there was a glass window-type thing.

Anyone out in the waiting room could see clearly into the receptionist's room through that exact span of window. Of course, the window stopped on its travels to the window sill about six inches short for the passing of sound and papers and whatnot, but still ... you could see in there, eh? As a matter of fact, the way I'm describing this sounds somewhat like my dentist's office. -shiver- Scary.

Anyway, so it was quite normal for Nikkos to spot Stephen right off the bat as he silently entered the receptionist's area, so he shouldn't have been all that surprised, you see. After all, "bad guys" like Stephen were rather commen at the clinic while school was in session, but we'll leave that for another conversation.

Just perhaps, the sight of the bloody bandana had surprised the intellectual kid. Or ... maybe it was the slight trace of embarassment he detected on his roommate's face. Yup, definately the embarassment detection. He'd seen more than bloody bandana's anyway, so things as such never surprised him, anyway. In fact, he was quite sure that it would be better if another one of the doctors-in-training took a look at Stephen's wrist. Would most likely keep out a rather large argument, you see.

So, he turned around and began to leave just about as silently as he entered when ...
"Nikkos!" The receptionist called, smiling at his sudden arrival. She obviously wasn't trained to deal with bloody anything and was glad to get Stephen off her hands. Or ... maybe she had a crush on Nik, hell if I know. Either way, she'd spotted his moving form out of the corner of her eye and jumped on the chance.

"Could you take care of this? Apparently someone bit his wrist ..." she trailed off, not knowing enough herself to go into further details. Nikkos sighed and nodded, turning right rather than left to open the door to the waiting room. "Yeah, I got it," he replied, much to the receptionist's joy.

As he held open the door in all his white-robed, stethescope glory, his brain did one of those backtrack things. 'Hold on... bit by someone?' ... Well, that was new. Either way, he remained in his doctorish calm, watching Stephen as he waited for him to follow, no matter how much he ... well didn't want to treat him, regardless if the person had gnawed directly through a major artery or not. Besides, he seemed to be holding up okay, didn't he?

    Sure, let's go with that.

Stephen Kaiser - May 8, 2007 02:05 AM (GMT)
As Glitch made her comment about Ali, Stephen couldn't help but laugh a little bit. "Let's just hope...." Before he could even finish his sentace, the receptionist practically jumped up from her chair. "Nikkos!" Oh God.... "...Nikkos?" Stephen repeated, exchanging a glance with Glitch.

That was just Stephens' luck. As if getting bitten by Ali wasn't enough for one day. Now he had to get medical attention, from his enemie/room mate. His room mate who would probably love revenge. I mean, the way that Stephen and Ezzie had pretty much verbally abused Nikkos in the office a while before? Stephen would expect nothing less than revenge for Nikkos. Honestly, Nik now had Stephen in the perfect spot. Stephen was at his mercy. The more he thought about it, the more it started to worry Stephen. Not that he thought Nikkos was about to kill him or anything. There were laws against doctors using their power for evil instead of good, right? Okay, not the best example. Seeing how Stephens' history with the law was so, well, not good.

When the respetionist actually asked if Nikkos would like to take Stephens' 'case' Stephen also jumped for joy. Nikkos wouldn't take him, right? I mean, why would he? He could probably find some really hot girl who'd fallen off her shoes to take care of or something. Unless.... unless he was after revenge. Though it seemed utterly against Nikkos' nature, he was only human. But he wouldn't take on Stephen. He wouldn't.
Yeah, I got it.'

Perfect. Stephens' heart plummited, but he remained calm. He wasn't about to let Nikkos know that he had the upper hand here. Sighing almost dramatically, Stephen headed towards the door Nikkos was now standing next to."Cummon... if you want." Stephen half muttered to Glitch as he walked towards Nikkos. It wasn't that he was being rude towards Glitch. No, he just wasn't looking forward to this whole thing with Nikkos. Not in the least.

Stephen realized that he would have to end up talking to Nikkos at one point or another. Nikkos being a doctor, or rather, 'Doctor-in-training' he was pretty much inclinded to speak to his patients. This day just kept getting worse and worse, didn't it? Shaking his head, Stephen made his way into the patient room.

Glitch Richter - May 8, 2007 10:01 AM (GMT)
Glitch follows after him quickly, bumping into him on accident. "Whoops, sorry." She blushes and rubs the back of her neck in embarassment. She loks at the boy ahead of them and grins. "Hey Nikkos. What's shakin kiddo" she grins, giving him a tiny wave. It had certainly been awhile since she'd seen him.

She smiles at Stephen. "You're in good hands. No worries. And, I'll take Ali to get her teeth filed or something." She stuffs her hands in her pockets, having a feeling she'd probably embarrassed herself and now she should shut up.

Nikkos Stephens - May 8, 2007 09:03 PM (GMT)
Nikkos smiled softly at the site of Glitch. Finally, someone who actually didn't hate him. Yeah, that seemed like a huge change after the past few days. "Hey," he replied, actually being ... well, not so quiet now that he knew someone. "You could come, too ... I don't mind." Yeah, sure, they usually only let parents back there, but Glitch could be a cushion ... perhaps he'd get out without any verbal abuse ... or physical abuse.

But then again, he was more than capable of getting out of the latter. After all, he did have full access to the anesthetic supply, not to mention the needles and such. Hah ... well, if worse came to worse, atleast he'd already cooked up a plan to 'calm' things down. But, nonetheless, if Glitch were there things would ... should run a good bit smoother. She seemed to know Stephen--obviously--so ... well, just yeah. Besides, if he were to give his roommate a random shot of a numb-er ... well, let's just say there'd be a good bit of paperwork for him to fill out.

But, anyway, he glanced to Stephen's wrist again, the blood flow slightly surprising him now that he'd gotten a closer look. Whoever had bit him ... may have known what he or she was doing. He chewed his lip, dozens of possibilities of what could happen running through his smart little brain. There could be a ... nah, I'll keep you waiting 'till later for that.

"Room 6," he informed, pointing to his room that had just been re-steralized for like.. the tenth time. Atleast that wasn't his job, eh? He chewed away at his lip as dozens more questions and ideas supressed themself through his mind-system thingeh and he looked up to Stephen yet again. "Did they transfer your files yet?" he asked rather nonchalantly, as if there weren't at least two reasons that Stephen would lose his hand. No, there was about a 99% chance that he'd be okay, so Nikkos didn't bother worrying ... atleast until he got a look at that ... bite injury.

That still amused him, by the way.

Stephen Kaiser - May 9, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
Before moving forward, Stephen shifted his gaze from Nikkos to Glitch. And then back. "You've got to be freaking kidding me." Stephen forced the words out under his breath. He didn't care if either or both of them heard him. Glitch knew Nikkos? That's just perfect. 'She better come.' Stephen didn't look at Glitch, but he was telling her in his head that she had to come. At least then if Nikkos was being... well, I guess himself, Glitch would be there to save Nikkos some physical abuse. It was at that moment that Stephen realized he couldn't pull anything. Not here. With the supply of needles and such that Nikkos probably had in that doctors' room of his? Stephen wasn't a wimp, but he didn't enjoy being stabbed with unknown needles. Not his deffinition of fun anyways.

Glaring slightly, Stephen made his way into the small, freakishly clean room. It wasn't that Stephen had anything against it being clean. But the fact that hospitals and clinics always seemed to be so spotless always annoyed the crap out of Stephen. On top of that, nothing was ever out of place. Don't get me wrong, Stephen didn't want the place to be dirty. But it just seemed near in-human for it to be so sterile.

As Stephen made his way past Nikkos, he shifted his weight slightly, almost jumping towards Nikkos. He only hesitiated for a moment before continueing into the room. When Nikkos asked Stephen about his files, Stephen turned around to face him. "Probably. The idiot that I call my father told the hospital here that it wouldn't be too long before I'd be in with something like this."

Well, it was true after all.

Glitch Richter - May 10, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Glitch frowns but pats Stephen's arm reassuringly. "I'll be right there, honest. Nikkos wouldn't harm a fly. He's a total dollface.' She smiles at Nikkos and then loks back to Stephen. "I promise I won't let him hurt you." She wraps her arms around one of his and smiles. "See? I'm a total leech. No letting go unless you burn me. And if you do i swear you'll loose a limb." She kisses his cheek adn smiles, bounding off towards the room Nikkos had said. She stops beside the young boy and grins, hugging him quickly and pecking his cheek as well. Well, Glitch was known for her random moments of child-play. This seemed like one of them.

Nikkos Stephens - May 11, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Nikkos sighed at the answer he got. It seemed no matter how much he tried to deny it, Stephen was ... well ... ah ... not all that good of a person. Yeah, and his replies just illuminated that fact as they kept coming. Nonetheless, he shut the door to the waiting room behind the two, and turned to the reseptionists' office yet again to ask for Stephen's file.

Ever wondered what doctors were basically doing while you're waiting and waiting in their examination room or whatever? Yeah, this wasn't it ... normally the files and such were already brought up, but in this case? Well, Stephen and Glitch had come quite suddenly, and the injury wasn't all that life-threatening ... minus that 1%, but still.

Nikkos faked a smile as the girl gave him the papers; his mind was more on the task ahead rather than what was happening now. Quite common when he didn't realize that girls were flirting with him. One of those obliviously Nikkos things, you see? It tended to happen alot; mainly due to the fact that all the attention had come so suddenly, that he'd never quite gotten used to the change.

Anyway, he turned down the hall, flipping through some of his roommate's medical files--skimming them, rather than actually taking the time to read every detail. That would take too long, you see, and he only had so far to walk. Speaking of which, he entered the door to his room, looking up as he did so.

He smiled slightly to Glitch, though the smile didn't make it's way to Stephen. Lord knows how that action would've turned out. Instead, he took a seat onto his very uber-cool little rolly chair that all doctors get to make the patients envy them----ahh ... I mean, that they all get to make transport around the room easier? Yup ... that works.

"If you could sit over there ..." he trailed off, pointing over to the little patient examination table//chair thing as he rolled over to the sink, washing his hands and grabbing a few towls; some wet, some dry. He glanced over to the bandana again. That was a good bit of blood ...

Stephen Kaiser - May 13, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
While Nikkos was out of the room, Stephen shot a look at Glitch. "You know that fool?" Whoa, okay, Stephen just had a 'gangta' moment. -thows up hand in mock gangster arm movement-. Okay, well, ahm.... anyways....
Not even waiting for Glitch to respond, Stephen turned his attention back to his wrist. Not that it was really fascinating to him. Stephen was okay with it, almost. It had stopped burning. Well, either that or he had just gotten used to the odd sensation. Looking up again, Stephen was about to tell Glitch all the problems Stephen had with Nikkos, when Nikkos made his re-entrance.

'Good choice kid….' Stephen was, of course, referring to the fact that Nikkos had decided against smiling at Stephen. That was just fine with Stephen. He would prefer not to be put into a position where he felt he needed to…. nice to this kid. Stephen sent a quick glare his way. Okay, I bet you’re starting to wonder why Stephen has such a grudge against such a nice guy. See, that’s the problem. Stephen can not stand the ‘nice guy’. Plus, Nikkos hadn’t made the best impression that day in the principals’ office. Okay, it wasn’t Nikkos’ fault at all. He hadn’t done anything after all. It was mostly just the way that Ezzie had reacted to him. Stephen isn’t a follower, but he figured that it took a lot to piss off Ezzie, so if Nikkos had managed to do so, he had to have done something worth holding a grudge against. That’s just the kind of guy Stephen is.

Stephen didn’t really acknowledge that he had heard Nikkos, though he had very clearly. I mean, the room was closed off from the rest of the super-noisy world, so it would pretty much be impossible for Stephen not to hear him. Shrugging, Stephen sat, barley on the edge of the table-ish thing. He always hated those things. The fact that you pretty much had to jump up onto them always annoyed him. And that’s gotta be one of the most un-Stephen things ever. So sitting on the edge of the table would have to do for Nikkos. Cuz there was not way in hell that Stephen was going to jump all the way up onto that table. Not just because Nikkos told him to.

“Suit your self”

Glitch Richter - May 13, 2007 04:47 PM (GMT)
Glitch frowns, but sends adn apologetic smile towards Nikkos. She walks over and stands beside Stephen, hugging him arund the neck. "Chill out on he poor kid. Mmkay? Just let him fix you and we're gone" she whispers, releasing him and going to sit abck ere she had been. She folds her legs to her chest, staring at her chipping nial polish. Shed repaint them later...eventually.

She loks around the room, occupying heself with studying the way Stephen reacted towards Nikkos. what had happened between them to make stephen dislike him so? Nikkos had always been a great kid and someone easy to befriend. he'd always been really nice to her. but, maybe that was because she was a girl. She hadn't really seen him around many guys. But, maybe they were jealous? nikkos was a fairly good looking kid. not her style, but he was cute and hd an awesome personality. She nods to herself. That had to be it. jealousy. It amde everyone stupid.

She smiles reassuringly at Stephen once more adn winks at him beofre laughing lightly. Pulling her phone from her pocket, she set to work on resuming her earlier game of Pac-Man.

Nikkos Stephens - June 4, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
Nikkos sighed to himself at the situation before him. Yeah, go figure that somehow this guy who just had to treat him like shit would get himself hurt. Why not, eh? Not like he hadn't run into the boy enough already, right? No! Of course not! Once is never enough!

He shook his dark bangs from his greying eyes, reaching into a cabnet to grab an assortment of bottles between various fingers. He held the paper towels with his other hand and made his way over to the uncooperative Stephen, looking up at him in a professional way. "This could hurt," he informed needlessly.

Why was the statement needless? Well, quite bluntly stating ... they say not to take off the first layer of gauze unless you're a professional, right? Yup, and with that, he set his stuff down beside Stephen, stood up and kicked his chair behind him and ripped the bandana off of his wrist.

He shook his head at the sight before him and walked away to drop the bloodied bandana into the trashcan. Normally he would've asked the patient if they wanted it or something, but he was rather distracted by the upsetting thoughts rushing around inside his calm, collective exterior. Nikkos wasn't really one to get mad at a person, you see. He was just too shy to do anything of the sort. But, quite frankly, Stephen was pushing hard, and he was about ready to push back.

He paused on his way back, the realization of what he'd just done rushing back through his mind, before shaking his head and dabbing a wetted paper towel on Stephen's wrist. He even went so far as to make sure he didn't make eye contact with his roommate. Why? Well, he didn't know what to expect from the guy, that's all.

Stephen Kaiser - June 8, 2007 05:55 PM (GMT)
Stephen kept an eye on Nikkos as the boy went around the room, collecting all of the verious things he would need to fix Stephens' arm. As he watched Nikkos go around the room, Stephen thought 'God, why do these things always happen to me?' No, it wasn't a prayer. Just more of a passing thought. And yes, Stephen did actually believe that it wasn't his fault that he continued to break things. Bones, major arteries, you know that kind of thing. I mean, when he fell off that trampoline was he was twelve? So not his fault. Dylan had been the one who dared him to do an areial off the roof onto the trampoline. Thus, the blame was for Dylan. That's how Stephens' logic worked. And this time, it was actually true. It was Ali's fault that he'd gotten into trouble. After all, what had he done exactly that had persuaded her to latch onto him? Well, let's just leave that one un-answered.

Stephens' awareness was brought back when Nikkos whipped off the badanna that Stephen had wrapped around his wrist. "Ow!.... God, could you be any more harsh?" Now Stephen knew nothing about medical practise. Nikkos could have been doing just what any other doctor would do, or he could have been perpously inflicting pain unpon Stephen. Either way, Stephen wouldn't know the diffrence. All the same, he wasn't intended on making this an easy thing to do. Why? Take a wild guess.

As Nikkos dabbed away at the now drying blood, Stephen just sat there. Trying hard not to show any signs of how bad it hurt. No way was he going to give Nikkos that satisfaction. Now why did Stephen think that would satisfy Nikkos if he knew Stephen was in pain? After all, Nik probably already knew that he was in pain. Considering the whole history-in-medical-school thing.

Well to be honest, I have no freakin' clue.

Glitch Richter - June 25, 2007 11:27 AM (GMT)
"You're such a baby, Stephen" Glitch teases. She felt she was watchign some wierd TV show, because it really was that funny. I mean, who honestly went to teh doctor for a bite mark...that wasn't amde by an animal? Obviously, Stephen did.

She just shakes her head, resuming Pac Man. She almost felt bad for Nikkos nad not Stephen. Poor Nik was only doing his job, and Stephen was just ebign Stephen...difficult. "If I leave the room for a minute can you two behave yourselves or is it best for me to watch the both of you?"
