It wasn't really that he was in trouble, you could say. He'd simply had an unexpected call to the clinic that day that he was supposed to have a class. No problem, right? He'd simply call the professor and get the make-up work. No sweat.

Well, so it would be had the professor not flown out to the beach that evening. Luckily, he'd left his planner with the secretary, to whom which Nikkos Stephens had been sent. Truth be told, he hadn't really been into the Main Office that much before. Good boy? Yes. You could say that.

He nodded as the lady behind the desk told him it may be a bit, then got to work looking through the entire stack of papers on her desk. How could she have lost an entire planning book in the span of one day, Nikkos would never know. But he wouldn't really need to. All he wanted was his homework so he could get to the clinic on time. Not the type of person to lose a job.

"This is the second time this week, Mr Copeland." Ezzie merely chuckles and walks himself into the office, plopping into a chair and relaxing. he crosses one leg over the other nad loks around. Yep, second time this week being sent to te ffice for mouthing off and trying to start a fight. Him? Fight? No way. Just verbally fight. He'd get his butt kicked in a heartbeat if he actually fought. He shake shis head nad fixes his shirt a little, pulling it down so it met the top of his jeans. Hard feat for him to do. He loks up at the other boy, cocking his head and studying him. "You're that smart kid all those girls are on about. What's so special about you" he ass, a sharp tone in his voice. This kid was a child! What was just so great?

Swining the door open with more force than was really needed, Stephen made his enterance. Was he in trouble? Well, no, not yet.
He was at the office simply because he needed to meet with the principal. They need to 'disscus his past behaviour'. Translated that means that they needed to lay down the law about Stephens' past arrests. The school had made it VERY clear that there would be many conditions if Stephen were to join Millbury for two years. His criminal Record being as full as it is.

A pair of loose jeans and a black T-shirt donned Stephens' less-than-athletic build. The shirt read 'My Chemical Romance' in blood red script. On Stephens' feet were... well, shoes. Black and red shoes to be exact. Of course he was wearing a hat over his blonde hair. This perticualar hat was black, and pulled far down over Stephens' blue eyes.

Looking around for a moment, Stephen saw that someone else was also in the office. Stephen eyed Nikkos for a moment before realizing he hadn't met him before. Continueing his sweep of the room, Stephen spyed Ezzie. A smirk started to form on his lips.

Stephen hadn't seen Ezzie in, well, it had been less than a year. When Ezzie left, it was just before (about 3 days before, actually) Stephen got busted helping with the drugs. Instead of saying hello to his long time best friend, Stephen decided to see how long it would take Ezzie to realize it was him. Boy, would he ever be surprised. Stephen never had told Ezzie that he would be attending Millbury. Stephen had known that Ezzie had come here, but had wanted his arrival to be a surprise.

The secretary looked up from her stack of papers long enough to tell Stephen to sit down, because it may be a while before she could get to him. Stephen shrugged before flopping down on a less-than-comfortable-chair, right next to Ezzie. Did it matter to him if he got to the meeting on time? No.

Nikkos shifted uncomforably in his seat at the harsh words spoken to him. What had he done, anyway? Not like he knew what the older guy was talking about, anyway, gosh. "I.. I can't fathom what you're talking about.." he started, though immediately wished he hadn't used the big word. The statement wasn't meant to come out sounding like he was a smart-ass, he was just smart.. minus the ass.. I think.. -rushes to examine Teddy Geiger pictures-

And 'all those girls are on about'? What was that about, anyway? Not like Nik had a clue as to what he supposedly knew according to this guy. Still a bit concerned as to his well-being due to his last comment, he fidgited again, before noticing the guy who walked through the door.

Ah, every bit as young as Mr. Stephens, though he seemed to be just the same 'bad guy' as the one next to him. Hm.. not the best situation for the poor guy. He glanced up at the secretary--who was continuing to slowly search through her papers--desperately wishing for his homework so he could get out and away from the scary..ness.

Ezzie loks ta the boy beside him before shaking his head. "Lok, I know I lok good, but do you really hvae to sit so close" he teases, looking at the other boy besde him again. His attention turns back to Nikkos adn he scoffs. "Yah, sure. And by the way, no one uses the word 'fathom' in an very day sentence. Maybe you should sit in the halls one day and listen to everyone talk. You could learn a few things geek boy." Ezzie, nice? Occasionally. He just didn't like this boy yet. he leans his head in his hands, taking a deep breath. he hate the smell in this room, it made him sick. The boy beside him catche his eye again and Ezzie sits up straighter, examining the other boy. He pushes Stepehn from his seat, smirking. "Loser. You couldn't have just said something, could you? You waited for me to be an ass. Jesus kaiser, I was gonna beat you up or something later."

As Ezzie repeatedly verberally jabbed Nikkos, Stephen just smirked. Well, actually, he was trying his hardest not to burst out laughing, but he figured that he would get in heaps of trouble for egging Ezzie on. Besides, Stephen had know Ezzie long enough to know that he didn't need to be egged on. If Ezzie didn't like someone, psht, that was the end of that.

As Ezzie pushed him to the ground, Stephen couldn't help laughing outloud. Sitting up, resting on his elbows Stephen smirked "Sorry Ez, I couldnt resist." Stephen reached out his hand for help up. He didn't really need help, but it was a peace-offing thing, kind of. Not that he and Ezzie were fighting. They were always calling each other names and pushing each other around. Since they both knew the other was way too weak to actually physically harm the other. Reaching out for help to get up, it was just something to do if one of your friends pushed you down.

Nikkos shifted again at the verbal attacks, not really being any sort of person to reply with an "attack" of his own. Instead he glanced up at the secretary, noticing she was--yes--still looking for his stupid assignment. Maybe he'd just skip out.. tell her he had somewhere else to be...

His head turned to examine the clock, frowning slightly when he realized he still had another thirty minutes or so until his shift started. He sighed to himself, shifting his bag at his feet, wondering if there was anything he could do to get them off his back for the rest of the time.

Stupid secretaries.

he laughs at his outstretched hadn adn smakc it away. "No way dude. You were totally gonna let me make a fool of myself a minute ago. Help yourself up." He pulls him up anywyas and smiles, laughing still. "It's been way too long, Kaiser. Way too long indeed." His attention focuses back to Nikkos. "Listen kid, what is it you're looking for? You've been standing here nad I'm annoyed already. You're just...a pushover. You're too nice."

Standing upright once again, Stephen smirked "Do you honestly think I could have stopped you from making an idiot of yourself?"

Brushing himself off, he nodded in agreement. It had been way too long since he and Ezzie had seen each other. It would be good to pick up where they left off. God, they'd probably put people they didn't like through hell. People like Nikkos, it appeared. Truth be told, he hadn't gotten a bad vibe from Nikkos. He didn't think as poorly of him as Ezzie seemed to. Stephen trusted Ezzies' opinion though, knowing how alike they're opinions were. Stephen wasn't a follower by nature. No way, he was a leader. But, as I have stated, he trusted Ezzie. So Stephen figured he would go along with whatever Ezzie was saying. For all Stephen knew, Nikkos had done something to Ezzie in the past. Though it seemed, by the way Ezzie was talking, that he hadn't met Nikkos before.

Stephen laughed at Ezzie's last comment, then added "Kid, you know he's right. Hes been jabbin' at you since before I got here. And you've barely uttered a word back." That was about as big of words that Stephen could manage. Still standing, Stephen pulled his hat to more of an angle before slumping down in a chair again.

Nikkos shrugged. Yes, simply shrugged. He wasn't about to get his face beaten in for saying something that they couldn't understand, like before. Not that that was a jab at them or anything, it was just.. well, he didn't want to get into anything, especially when he didn't even know the guys.

Since when was he expected to attack random people without reason, anyways? Nikkos? Surely not. Thus.. Katie will sit here and make him avoid you guys cuz it's kinda funny. Kudos to the first person to make him talk, besides the whole fathom thing.

Ezzie chokes on his laughter and covers his mouth with his hand, trying to hold it back. he clears his throat and chuckles anyways, looking over at Stephen. "So, Kaiser, scoped out any hot chicks yet? No dates? What a shame. Maybe if you had my looks, you wouldn't have a problem" he teases. he smiles cheekily and laughs again. "I'm joking, you know that. But, I wasn't joking about the hot girls part? I eman, there's a few I sit with at lunch, but they're all in highschool. Totally not looking to go down that road."

Stephen glanced over at Nikkos once again before replying to Ezzies' comments. Classic Ezzie, so full of himself. Anyway, Stephen rolled his eyes and told Ezzie "If I had your looks I dont think id ever get a date, man." Stephen flung his arms up to cover his face, half expecting Ezzie to swat at him. When nothing came, Stephen slowly lowered his arms and replyed to the rest of Ezzies comments.

"No, I havent really met any girls at all. Let alone hot ones." Stephen thought to himself for a moment before adding "Nope, I acutally dont think i've met any girls really. Obiously I know some, but none past a first-name basis." Stephen decided not to adress the thing about high school girls. Yes, he agreed that dating girls that younger than you almost always leads to trouble. However, Stephen had met some high school girls before that were extremly mature of there age. He just didn't want to be quoted as saying he wouldn't date high schooler. Cuz, you never know.

Ezzie rolls his eyes at his long-time friend. "It's a shame, kaiser. Seriously. We should get working on you. You're not a bad looking guy, it's just that chicks are stupid." he grins widely and runs a hand over his hair, leaning back in the uncomfortable seat. he didn't like people joking about his loks, somethign he'd worked so ahrd at and finally acheieved. But this was Stephen, and no harm was intended. he laughs at his frienda dn shakes his head. "We're going to a club one night. Scoping the chicks, or guys, if you've swung that way since our last endeavor."

Stephen rolled his eyes "Ezzie, you havent changed a bit. Did it ever accour to you that i might just want to figure out where everything is before I start looking for a girlfriend?" Okay, so Stephen was less-than-famous for having tons of girlfriends/one night stands. No, that was Micahs area. But Stephen was known to have plenty of girlfriends. One Night Stands, eh, he wasn't a huge fan of them. Yeah, they were fun at the time. But it was never fun to wake up hung over, and not entirely sure who you'd spent the night with. Stephen never knew exactly why, but he prefered to actually have a realtionship, most of the time.

Stephen added "Yeah, sure though, I could go for a club night. And, for the record, i'm still girls all the way." He though to himself for a moment before adding "Maybe Micah would like to tag along...."

Now this is where things could get interesting. You see, Stephen didn't know that Ezzie and Micah didnt get along. Actually, he didnt think that one knew about the other being friends with him. Stephen was never hanging out with Ezzie and Micah at the same time. So Ezzie most likly didn't know about Stephen and Micah being uber best friends. The same goes for Micah.

Ezzie's eye twitches and he growls low before letting a smirk cover his lips. "Sure, let him tag along. Should be fun." Yah, fun to see who wins at this. He looks over at Stephen with another one of his trademark smirks.

"Dude, I never said we're going to find you a girlfriend tonight, I said we're scoping chicks. Then, you keep one at bay until you're 'ready'." he grins and laughs a little bit before picking at a loose thread on his jeans. "Girlfriends aren't that big of a deal though. They only cause trouble. heaven forbid you have a female friend. Jesus, I hate that road."

Stephen wasn't sure why Ezzie had become so tense all of a sudden. At the mention of Micahs' name Ezzie seemed to.. bristle. Stephen shrugged 'ah well, probably my imagenation...' After all, he didn't have time to think about it too much. Ezzie was already talking once again about going out clubbing.

Stephen rolled his eyes. That was just.. well, that was just Ezzie. Ezzie was more into the one-night-stand thing than Stephen. So thus, he would bug Stephen to death on the fact that Stephen wanted a girlfriend. Sometimes Stephen wondered how they stayed friends. They were always bugging each other about everything they disagreed on. I guess somethings are just... there. That's the best I can come up with right now.

"And what's wrong with have a friend whos a girl? I dont have many of them... but Kadee is awesome..." Stephen trailed off, thinking back to his firey red-headed friend. Yes, they wern't the best of friends. But they were pretty good as far as friends go. Of course, he had gone down the 'just-friends' route with a girl before... Martina De Luca... we all know just how wonderfully that turned out.

Before Ezzie could even answer, Stephen decided that instead of getting into a fight about it, he woould change the subject. The only thing he could think of was Nikkos. So, getting up, Stephen asked "What are you doing here anyways kid?" He was obiously adressing Nikkos. Walking over towards him until he was standing right next to Nikkos, Stephen continued "From what Ezzies' said.. sounds to me like your not the kind of person to be getting in trouble."

Nikkos sighed impatiently as his eyes wandered from the clock.. to glance at the two who were finally ignoring him, to the secretary, and back to the clock again. What a day, eh? >.> and it was just getting started. Katie still has alot in store for her poor Nik. Though, she is feeling pretty darn bad for the guy at the moment. v.v

His deep blue eyes rose as Stephen stood over him, asking him questions. He tilted his head subtly in the direction of the secretary, who was currently searching the third drawer on her file cabnet, to no avail. His mouth was clamped tight to avoid speaking in larger words; something that came naturally to him.

Ezzie smirks viciously and sneaks up behind Nikkos, resting his chin on the younger kids shoulder. "If you don't speak I will scare you. I mean, you spoke earlier, mildly. I'll stop teasing you if you talk. Promise. ANd besides, the more you wait for something to be done, the longer it takes." he grins mischieviously and pecks his cheek before crossing his arms over his chesta dn going to sit back in his chair. "I'll do it again if you don't talk. Ask Kaiser, he knows my evil methods of torture."

Before Stephen had a chance to get frustrated with Nikkos, Ezzie stepped in. Stephen just stood next to him and nodded, agreeing with most everything Ezzie said.

Stephen was more than a little shocked when Ezzie pecked Nikkos' cheek (he did didnt he? -rushes to check- good, he did. moving on..) Wasn't it just Ezzie would was making fun of Stephen a little bit about being 'gay'. Which, he isn't, by the way. But Stephen just shrugged it off. Ezzie was random, it was something Stephen learned this very early on in their friendship. As Ezzie was telling Nikkos about his 'methods of torture' Stephen nodded. As Ezzie told Nikkos to ask Stephen, Stephen took that as his que. Yes, Ezzie is a very... evil person." That sounded so weird to Stephen, that it came out soundeing rather lame. Ezzie wasn't evil, Stephen knew that much. Yeah, he was just like Stephen in the regard that he was a badass. But neither of them were evil. Far from it. So saying that Ezzie was evil, just sounded wrong to Stephen.

"Um.." Nikkos froze on the spot. Now that, dear children, is not all that good. Sure he had to talk. Yeah, he could talk. Did he have anything to say? Does it look like it? What do you think 'froze on the spot' means, anyway. NO IT'S A METAPHORE, DAMNIT! :blink: Wow, I really have to stop fighting with myself in these things. ><

He racked his brain for something to say, though having nothing, still. Why? 'Cause Katie thinks it will be funny.. of course, she -does- have an escape option if necessary. He glanced to the secretary, now on the last drawer in the cabnet, and to the clock. AH HAH! He only had a few minutes before he absolutely HAD to leave. ^^ Yay work! Err.. no wait.. >.> <.<

Ezzie pushes his fingers through his hair and lets it fall back into his face. "Listen, kid. I'll make you a deal. I'll lay off your back if you speak, mmkay? I won't torture you throughtout school like I was going to. Sound fair?" he stands up and stretches, his back cracking. "Stephen. I'm bored. Entertain me. POke it until it talks."

Stephen blinked at Ezzies' well... rather odd request. I mean, honestly, to poke Nikkos? That was going a bit far, dont you think? Stephen was not about to poke the poor kid. Well, maybe that was a wrong choise of words. Stephen didn't feel sorry for Nikkos. Not at all. He just felt that poking was a bit.. odd.

The only thing Stephen could think of doing was shrugging. So, he did.
After he shrugged and stuffed his hands deep into his jean pockets, a thought dawned on him. So, he turned on his heels, so that his front was facing Ezzie and his back was facing Nikkos. He gave Ezzie a look that screamed 'watch this'.

Turning back to face Nikkos, Stephen smirked. He was still not entirly sure of what he was going to say. Stephen took a deep breath before starting in on Nikkos again. "Why wont you talk? Are you worried we're going to redicule you again?" Stephen alowed a small laugh to escape his lips. He quickly turned back to Ezzie and told him, rather loudly "We must be pretty important for Mr.Do-No-Wrong to care what we think."

Ezzie huffs and blows a stray lock ofhair from his face. "Well of course we're important. jeeze." he smirks and stuffs his hands into his back pockets, looking around. "I give it another ten minutes before I get called into the office for yelling at a teacher again." he grins mischieviously. "But it is so worth it every time."

Stephen sighed and rolled his eyes "You just make new friends everywhere you go, dont you?" Stephens' dark blue eyes gleamed from under his hat. Not that this came as a big surprise to Stephen. Ezzie was always the first to talk back to a teacher. Or a police officer. Anyone who was really in control Ezzie didn't generally like. Not to say that Stephen wasn't known to mouth off. Because beleive me, Stephen was the first to mouth off at athority. But Stephen would also physically attack someone. In Stephens' oh-so-humble opinion (as if...) he beleived Ezzie was just a big talker.

Not knowing what else to say, Stephen leand up against the counter, and shoved his hands deep into his jean pockets. He allowed his mind to wander about the feel of the jean against his somewhat warm hand. The feel of jean was near un-explainable. It was smooth, yet rough. But not really rough either.....

"You're spacing Kaiser" Ezzie points out dryly. He sits back in his chair, slumping and closing his eyes. "I just wanna go home and take a nice shower, then go out. Why can't school be over now?" He loks mischieviously at Nikkos. He gets up once more, placing his hands on Nikkos' shoulders. "Why don't you come with us tonight, kid? You look like you need a real break."

Nikkos looked from Ezzie to Stephen, then back to Ezzie again. Shaking his head, he didn't give a verbal answer to them. Not like they really cared why he couldn't come anyways, eh? Instead, he took the paper from the proud secretary who'd finally found it, smiled a half-smile of somewhat thanks, and freed himself from Ezzie's grasp by stepping away and toward the door.

Nah, they wouldn't want him anyway. Not for anything other than to 'poke' or whatever.

Stephen raised both his eyebrows as Nikkos exited the small office. He didn't raise his eyebrows both in the spectical way, but more in a surprised way. Okay, surprised is the wrong word too. The facial expression is hard to discribe, and Eilee really doesn't feel like taking pictures.

As he turning his gaze back to Ezzie, Stephen noted "You gotta hand it to the kid. He knows how to avoid actual speach."

Still leaned up against the counter, Stephen closed his eyes. Of course, it was then that the secretary's phone rang, forcing Stephens' eyes open. 'mmmhm, okay. Alright.' Slamming the phone down, the secretary sent what appeared to be a small glare Stephens' way. "The principal will see you now."

A point that I wanted to make before I end was Stephens' thought on the idioticness of the phones secretarys had. I don't mean the phones that were used to call parents and such. I mean the phone thats' connected to only the principals' office. So that he can jus pick up the phone, and her's will start ringing. I mean, why can't the principal just come out of the freakin' office? It's not that hard. But whatever makes it simpler for the man will all the athority seemed to be put in place. Which was completely unfair.

As Stephen walked into the prinicpals' office, he nodded Ezzie's way. "Catch yah later Ez."
