Title: So Say What Are You Waiting For?
Glitch Richter - April 8, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
This was probably the grossest thing she'd ever looked at. How could it even be considered food? Oh man, I think it just moved. She covers her mouth nad walks awya from the line, going to set herself at a table and munch on the apple in her satchel. Who even ate school food? She actually hadn't partook in lunch since she came ehre. The food wasn't appealing at all. Eight years at this place, adn she hadn't ate lunch once. Except on the weekends, adn that was usually Chinese she'd ordered over the course of the week. She'd throw it together and make it a two day lunch special. She shakes her head at herself and takes a small bite of the apple. She was being foolish. no wonder she loked like death. She just never ate, and she was probably sick. If she was she'd blame Micah, or Chris. Although it wasn't their fault. but it would be funny to see their faces all the same. She sighs and pitches the apple, not hungry anymore. Yah, she was definately sick, or atleats on her way there. She leans her elbows on the table, her fingers rubbign her temples ahrd as if this were the miracle cure to her ailment. There was footsteps echoing all around her, but one set of footfalls came out louder than the rest. She loks up and flashes a small smile. "Hey."
Alizabeth Wells - April 8, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
It wasn't anything really. A simple cherry tomato to be exact. But what did she know? Not like she was going to go poking it with her fork until she knew exactly what it was. You never knew with the school food anyway, some of it may still be living for all Katie cares. Well, living is how Alizabeth took it as well. She'd gasped at noticing the round object in her chocolate pudding, her blue eyes widening with every passing second.
Now a normal person would wonder just how much the girl's eyes could widen. Well, for your information, the passing seconds amounted to a total of two. Yeah. You heard me. Two. Alizabeth chewed her bottom lip nervously as she looked around the cafeteria, wide-eyed and worried for a familiar face. There. Right there. Glitch. At her own table.
And with that chopped up thought of hers, she rushed to her friend, somehow managing not to spill her lunch upon herself or the floor as she did so. Graceful? Psh, you wish. Experience with running with things? All the experience in the world. "Glitch! Glitch!" she squealed as she neared, gaining quite a few odd looks from the crowd of students. Well, wouldn't you give her a look too? I mean, she's running.. screaming 'Glitch.' I wouldn't, mind you, I'd probably be the one running.
She gasped for breath as she skidded to a halt in front of the college girl; the loss of oxygen not due to the amount of running--I honestly don't think a cafeteria could be that large--but more likely the fact that she was slighlty panicked. Well that and we just must play up her over-dramatic qualities, eh? Eh. She watched silently as she waited for an answer, Katie wondering just how Cassie will take this post, cause.. truthfully? Katie's laughing her arse off right now.

Glitch couldn't hel the laugh rising in her throat. She shakes her head at the girl and reaches across the table, ruffeling her hair. "Chill out, midget, eh? Someone's going to trip you and I'd ahve to put a hurting on them. you're lucky you have me." She shrugs casually. "CAuse come on, I'm Glitch friggen Richter. College Senior badass." She sighs and loks sadly at the other girl sudednly. "I'm gonna hate graduating. Leaving you and Micah and everyone. Maybe I'll fial adn stick around" she jokes. She was serious about leaving though, she really didn't want to. She eyes Alizabeth's food with distaste. "That stuff is going to eat you, Ali-bear, if you go to eat it. I'm not even lying. I totally think it's checking you out."
Alizabeth Wells - April 8, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
"But, but, but.." Alizabeth stammered, biting her lip as she looked down at the offending object in the oh-so-holy chocolate pudding. She gulped again, setting the tray down on the table and taking a seat next to Glitch, making sure to keep the pudding as far away from her as possible without spewing it across the cafeteria.
"Who's Micah?" she asked, smiling, all thoughts of the unidentified object gone from her mind at the mention of the new name. "I met this guy outside the other day, but his name wasn't Micah," she stated, trying to find out if she knew the owner of such a name. Not for the reason of having a boyfriend, per-say, but just to have another friend to add to the list. Of two. Yes, list of two. Big whoop, eh?
Yes, the pudding had been forgotten. Well, atleast until Glitch mentioned the food again. And then everything came rushing back. Ali gasped suddenly, remembering why she'd ran all the way here in the first place. "There's something in my pudding!" she wailed unhappily, as if the fact were a federal offense or something.
Glitch Richter - April 8, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)
Glitch laughs again nad shake sher head at the younger girl. "Why don't you just, like, take the thing out of the pudding if you want it so bad?" She chews on her lip a little bit before taking out her sketchpad nad opening to a new page, starting a new design for her class. "As for Micah, I'm surprised you don't know him. He's pretty popular with the chicks, so I hear. But then again, you're still in highschool. So, you're lucky."
Alizabeth Wells - April 8, 2007 02:37 PM (GMT)
"But... it's all.. contaminated now.." she shivered noticably, pushing the tray away from her just a tad. "Besides, I don't even know what it is. It could.. eat me or something!" She nodded, bringing Glitch's comment back into the conversation.
"Why?" she asked simply after Glitch deemed her lucky. She pursed her lips and thought for a bit before setting her hands on her hips. "Is he bad?" she asked point blank. Ah, the wonders of being blunt.
Glitch Richter - April 8, 2007 03:16 PM (GMT)
"I supose we can deem micah-dear as bad. More like he's just cocky and thinks he can get whoever he wants. So, like I said, you're ucky you're spared his charms. And so am I. It's those other poor girls I worry about." She shakes her head a little bit then loks back to the food. "Just go get another pudding or something, or I'll go buy you one when I get out of classes today."
Alizabeth Wells - April 13, 2007 09:54 PM (GMT)
"Oh.." Alizabeth watched Glitch as she explained the guy by the name of Micah, making a mental note that when she finally ran into this guy to ask him why he was so bad. Which would be interesting to roleplay, actually..
"But I don't want any nowwww.." she drawled, almost as if it were obvious. In that way she had of course. She poked a fork at the lump in the pudding, pulling out the chocolate covered tomato, a classic 'Ewwww' face crossing her features before she dropped it back into the mass, ignoring the small splatter that landed around two inches from said mass... of pudding, no doubt.
"So!" she changed the subject happily, tucking her legs under her to better face Glitch. "Whatcha' doooin'?"
Glitch Richter - April 13, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)
She laughs and rolls her eyes. "I'm deciding if you'll get another pudding craving before you see a hot guy, or after. I'm not sure which yet. I think it's the latter though." She grins cheekily and loks around teh cafeteria. "Although, I'm not seeing very many hot guys around lately."
Alizabeth Wells - April 17, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)
"Why? Do you like someone?" Alizabeth asked, tilting her head to the side curiously. The matter of the tomato-fied pudding gone from her mind for the moment being. ..Again.. She looked around the room as if trying to decide whether to agree with the senior or not, pursing her lips and squinting at just a few that.. well, almost fit the bill.
Okay, so Glitch was right, there weren't any hot guys around just yet.
Glitch Richter - April 22, 2007 10:27 PM (GMT)
Glitch's face flushes slightly and she leans back in teh chair, trying to seem relaxed. "We're not discussing that, okay?"
Alizabeth Wells - May 6, 2007 02:20 PM (GMT)
"Okie dokie smokie," Ali nodded slightly, not even catching the wave of uncomfortness that had passed over her friend. Yup.. Oblivious once again. "Sososo... what are we discussing now?" she asked, tilting her head to one side and situating herself so she was sitting on her ankles.
Glitch Richter - May 6, 2007 02:23 PM (GMT)
Glitch shrugs and relaxes in the chauir, now cofortable again. "Um, how about we talk about the fact that I wanna go out partying?" She laughs a little and loks at Ali curiously. "Are you even old enough to get into clubs?"
Alizabeth Wells - May 6, 2007 02:37 PM (GMT)
"I dunno.." Alizabeth shrugged, not really having tried. Okay, so maybe she'd gotten into quite a few clubs before, but she was just too busy right now.. Okay, so she knew the bouncer, what was so bad about that. NO! I don't mean like that I mean he knew her father and knew that she was really no harm and..
moving on..
She picked at some of the lettuce from her tray, nibbling on the pieces absent-mindedly.
