Description: .:Open:.

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 04:23 PM (GMT)
Chris walked into the lighted gym with confidence in his game, and a basketball in his arm. This was one of his favorite places to get his game on and he made sure he came atleast once a week. Chris had been playing basketball since he was about 3, and his dad coached. He thought back to the games where he would stand next to his dad on the bench and he would see him stand up when they were losing, and he would scream and yell. He smiled at the vision. That's where Chris got his passion for basketball, from his dad. He'd go out on the court during half-time and shoot around with the guy that were about 12 years older than him and the boys would lift him up so he could dunk and he would clap and be happy that he made it. But, that was a long time ago.

Chris sighed and pushed the ball with his palms down onto the ground, dribbling and looking up to the rim. He smiled and ran up, lifting his right leg and making a perfect layup.

He smiled at the perfect shot he had just made and made his way over to the bench on the far end of the gym. He sighed and looked down at the outfit of the day. He had chosen a pair of navy blue basketball shorts and a pair of white nike's. He grabbed the bottom of his white wife beater and pulled it over his head, showing his tan, ripped chest. He ran over to where the ball had fallen and picked it up, running back back to the 3-point line and aiming for the net. Swish he thought to himself as the ball went through the net without hitting anything else. He smiled and jogged back up to the basket.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
Noel walked in carrying in his dance bag. He was wearing a tight t- shirt that showed his six pack, a pair of black dance pants and a pair of black hip hop shoes. When he walked in he did not at first see the other guy shooting hoops, he started to stretch on one of the bars in the gym, but when he looked up he saw the guy for the first time, he was taking his shirt off. ( To make a first impression is a big deal for some people and when you meet someone for the first time and they are taking their shirt off that will leave a lasting impression. ) When he took his leg of the stand he turned around to watch him go to the three point line and make a basket, at this Noel walked over and clapped his hands and decided he would make the first meeting gesture. " Hello mate." He said in his Australian accent.

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 04:47 PM (GMT)
Chris jumped and turned around, a bit surprised. "Oh ... hey." he said, noticing the guy that was coming towards him. He looked a little ... well ... gay :o . He automatically felt himself become uncomfortable. "I'm Chris." he said, holding his hand out for a shake. He felt wondered exactly how long the guy had been there and if he was already there when Chris came in. He hoped he hadn't interrupted something.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 05:14 PM (GMT)
When he walked up closer he went to reach his hand out but he noticed that Chris was a little skittish, and he knew from past experiences that being around other men who were skittish if they knew or even thought he was gay was not something he should take lightly. Due to this realization he started to back up some then stood there looking at Chris before replying, " Um... it seems that I have bothered you mate, I think I will get going then. But nice meeting ya." He then started to turn around and walk away.

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
Chris sighed. "No, dude. It's okay." he said, not wanting to make the guy leave. "Stay, really." he said, smiling warmly. "So ... do you like basketball?" he said, motioning to the basket.

He noticed the dance bag over on the other side of the room and wondered if he was a dancer. His sister was a dancer, but she didn't do it very often.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 06:34 PM (GMT)
Although he was hesitant he remained calm and decided he would stick around and get to know the guy. " Well I am not really sure, I have never played it before or watched it." He said stating the truth. He then looked up at the hoop and stared blankly at it.

Ashleigh Teresacca - April 5, 2007 06:45 PM (GMT)

Ashleigh did love sports, and today was no different. She walked into the gym, wearing her normal outfit at the gym: a pair of too-short black sweatpant shorts, a red wife beater shirt. On her feet were a new pair of black and red Nike kicks; she jogged across the room, doing a round-off as she landed beside of her brother.

"Hey bitch."

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 06:54 PM (GMT)
Chris almost went into shock when he heard Noel's comment. His eyes got huge and his mouth went wide. "Oh my god. You could not have just said that." he said, almost not believing it. "I so have to teach you." he said, closing his mouth.

Just as he was about to turn around and shoot, Ashleigh was standing beside him and he laughed at her greeting. "Hey, skank." he said, smiling. "What are you doing here?" twins ... he said, shaking his head in his mind.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
He thought for a moment and decided that he was up for attempting to learn something new. " Ok so what do you do with the ball?" He asked smiling. But before he could say anything else a girled came out of no where and called Chris a bitch. " Hello sheila." He said greeting the girl who justed appear. " I take it you two know eachother?" He said looking at them both noticing a similarity between the two.

Chris Teresacca - April 5, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
"You could say that." he said, wrapping his arm around her neck. This is my twin, younger sister. Okay ... so only by four minutes ... but still.

"Ashleigh, I'm getting ready to teach this guy how to play. Wanna help?" he said, knowing she couldn't resist a game against him.

Jen Callahan - April 5, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
It had been a while since Jen had played basketball last, but just the same, she loved it. Walking into the gym wearing her dark green KHC shirt and a pair of black basketball shorts, Jen looked around. There were some people standing around, but other than that the court was empty. Taking the basketball out from under her arm she went to the far side of the gym and started dribbling. Then she took a shot. It balanced on the rim for about a second and then fell into the net. Grabbing the ball before it hit the ground, Jen dribbled out to the foul line and took another shot. She nailed it. I guess I still have some skill. She thought to herself, grinning. Dribbling in for a lay-up, Jen felt the ball leave her hand, but it never went into the net. Looking up to the basket, she noticed that the ball had gotten stuck between it and the backboard. "Awe great." Jen said, rolling her eyes. Walking to the three point line Jen turned and started to sprint towards the basket. As she approached she jumped and reached up to get the ball. Unfortunately she wasn't even close enough. "Okay, I think I'm gonna need some help." Jen said. Looking over to the group, she started towards them. About half way there she called out, "Hey, can one of you help me? The ball got kinda stuck." Jen said, pointing.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Before Noel could wait for Ashleigh's reply he saw another girl walk into the gym. He noticed that she was carrying a ball with her so hed decided he would wait and watch her play a bit, he was a quick learner, so while he was watching he saw her get the ball in a couple of times before he saw it get stuck. When Noel was about to ask her if she wanted help he saw her take a running start and attempt to reach the ball but he saw that she did not succeed very well, so when she came over to ask for help he responded with, "Sure sheila." He walked over some then took a running start and pushed off the ground as hard as he could and hit the ball with his hand it popped out and fell through the hoop. He then picked it up and walked over to the girl and smiled before saying, " I guess being six foot three has some advantages."

Jen Callahan - April 5, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
"Yeah it does." Jen said, smiling. "Thanks!" She added. Looking the boy up and down, Jen nodded. He looked like a dancer by the way he was dressed in his white shirt and black pants. Plus the hip hop shoes. "You play basketball? You sure have the height for it." She told him even though she had guessed the answer. "Oh, i forgot to say, my name's Jen." Jen said, shaking her head at herself.

Noel Rodgers - April 5, 2007 10:08 PM (GMT)
He smiled back at her and replied, "No, in fact Chris was just going to show me how to play since I don't know how, I dance." He said laughing at her while she was looking him up and down. " The name is Noel," he said sticking his hand out to shake hers.

Jen Callahan - April 5, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
"Chris? I haven't met this Chris, but if my instinct is right then that's Chris." Jen said, pointing to the other boy who was in the gym. "Dance, I've never really done that. I'm more of the tennis/soccer/basketball/swim type of girl. I've always thought dancing to be, well, girly. No offense to you though." She said to Noel, taking his hand after a minute or so of rambling.

Noel Rodgers - April 6, 2007 12:29 AM (GMT)
He smiled again at her response. " Yes that is Chris and I figured from the fact that you were playing basket ball," Noel said looking at her. When he heard her reply to the dancing thing he looked at her a little flabbergasted at how out spoken she was. " That was blunt." He said staring at her then laughing.

Jen Callahan - April 6, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
Jen grinned sheepishly about his comment of her bluntness. "I'll tell you what, you try basketball, and I'll try dancing." She said, knowing she basically walked into trying dance. "Just to warn you though, be prepared for seeing a girl making a fool of herself." She said

Noel Rodgers - April 6, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
 He laughed again this time harder. He looked up and said, " Well just so you know it is not hard unless you have two left feet or right. But I'll try basket ball."

Jen Callahan - April 6, 2007 12:50 AM (GMT)
"Some how I knew that I would end up having to dance." Jen said, rolling her eyes. "Well, if I'm coordinated enough for soccer, I'm coordinated enough for dancing." She said. "So when will this dancing session take place?" Jen asked Noel, wondering how long she had until d-day (dance day).

Noel Rodgers - April 6, 2007 01:05 AM (GMT)
" Well I wouldn't know because I have never played soccor but my guess is it would help," he said smiling. " And don't make it sound so bad sheila." He said laughing at how she made it sound like it was going to kill her.

Jen Callahan - April 6, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
"Oh fine." Jen said. "Is this better? Oh boy, I can't wait to start dance. It's the best thing that ever happened to me!" She said, taking on a look of joy and then dropping it. "Just don't laugh when I'm dancing. If you do, I'm gonna get'cha." Jen said, grinning.

Noel Rodgers - April 6, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
" Now that is better." He said smiling at her. " I would love to see you attempt to get me," he looked at her with a smirk then turned to look at the other two. " I think we should get back over there so that I can learn a thing or two about basket ball," he said looking at her and starting to take steps back to Chris and Ashleigh.

Jen Callahan - April 6, 2007 01:27 AM (GMT)
"Oh, now you're gonna get when you least expect it." Jen said, following him over to Chris and Ashleigh. When they arrived, Jen smiled and said, "Hi, I'm Jen." Not really feeling like being the teacher, Jen waited for Chris to begin rather than starting anything herself.

Admin Note;;

I would just like to point out that it was kinda rude for Riss and Piper to go off in their own little conversation without giving Amy and Hale a chance to reply. You guys nearly went through a whole page before you decided to stop to let them actually join, which, actually, you only did 'cuz one of you had to go to bed.

VERY rude.

Now, personally I dont have a problem with riss joining in, but that's just me; i'm not in the topic and i'm not really paying attention, but still.

If you are going to join a topic, give more than one person chance to reply before two of you go off in your own little world, eh?

Chris Teresacca - April 7, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
Chris looked over to his sister as Jen and Noel made their way back over. Then, he raised an eyebrow to her, shrugged his shoulders and let his attention fall back to the two. "I'm Chris." he held out his hand to shake hers.
