Hi all! another medium tutorial.
Today i made a website for my Argentum Online Server
And i was making the menu in flash, but i didint like how were the buttons, so i decided to make them in photoshop B) .
Check the buttons in a flash menu clicking here

Well... if you do it good, this is the final result:

So... Lets begin

1. Make a new document, the size is optional, is depends in how big do you want your button.
Select the rectangular maruee tool and make this

Add smooth

Fill it with grey

2. Now, lets apply blending options (right click on the layer > blending options)

Press ctrl and select the layer, you should have a selection, now use the rectangular marquee tool to do this
[[View Image]]

Now make a new layer and with the gradient tool make this
from up to down

Now it look cool, isnīt it? well..but we dont finish yet.

3. Make a new layer and a little selection (with smooth too) in the middle of the button

Fill it with any color, i`ve used this

And add this settings to the blending options

cool, but i learned how to do that in school, but we added like a weird shine to it, we used a gradient.....or inershadow or something...idk its all a big blur to me.... :drop: anyways, nice tut

np ^^, if u want a transparnt backround, i prefer savee it as png :P
