Popout sig tutorial

So you want to make a popout sig ;) ok its very easy...

First open a new Document...with background white, 400x150 pxls

Now open again a new document, it have to be 400x200 pxls

OK why you have two documents =S well we need the first one to define the popout background..So lets go to the first document.. the one with the white canvas
So now press Ctrl + A To select all the white canvas... no letso go to the transparent one and Ctrl + V to paste the white with the transparent ;) once you have make it you can close the first document and you should have something like this:

Now open your render... im going to use this one:

Copy and paste in the Document and rezise it... it have to be like this:

Now press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer and hide the first layer... so your layers pallete have to be like this:

Now select the visible layer and go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options and apply the next settings:

Now merge down the two layers Ctrl + E
lol.. ^_^ now we have the base of our background

OK ;) next we need a background... make a new layer, and make your background..if you dont know how to make it Click Here :P
Or if you already have a background just copy and paste it... y prefer to make my background apart so im going to use this:

Now here, press Ctrl + G orAlt+Click Between the background and the base background.. this should look like this:

Ok Now make tyour image appear so click in the where have to be the eye.. and remember dont move your render

Now you can add anything you want.... text, scan lines, more brushes, Except pop out renders
Remember everytime you make a new layer Groups with the others layers
Then you finished your layers pallete have to look like this:

Now go to save the Document and...Save as .PNG!!! <---Remember!!! Warning!!!
Thats all... this is my final result:

i made this last night didnt see ur tut until this morning, i did it a different way, but urs is much better, good job

cant be bothered to fix the border on the sides and bottoms
ps the image host is good its just got a small file limit

The image hosting is only for the tutorials :P because that only allow 200kb

well erm........i found out how to make the background stuff blend in, so you wont notice it :P

Ctrl + G or Alt+Click

lol.. that are for group the layer with the base layer... you need to select your layer and press Ctrl+G--- or if you have CS or CS2 you need to group them with Alt+Click between the layers... and it have to be like this:

well since i had no idea what kasy was talking about when she said the alt+G thing or w/e i came up with my own way, but i think i started it diff, cant remember. well anyways, all i did was go to the first layer the transparent one, i think i hit ctrl+e to join that one and the background, then with the magic wand i chose the extra transparent stuff, and filled it with the background of the forums, i took a screen shot to get the real color. i think thats what i did, tell me how it turns out, oh and i saved it as a JPEG
