The Prince of Tennis anime series is more or less based on the manga, just with a different ending. So my question is, what do you guys love or hate about the anime series? Or basically let's talk about the Prince of Tennis anime here! :D

Let's see, I'll start. I dislike how the anime ended, how they made us think Echizen won't be in the Nationals. But then even with the few extra OAVs I think they made the Nationals a bit rushed; not enough details of what's going to happen and how it happen.

But then again, I also love how in the Anime I really went 'Whohh! *amazed*' at the players' attacks and skills.

what was the ova about? I watched till like there was a bunch of fillers >< and didn't watch anymore. haha

There's a couple of OAV's that made after the ending of the Anime series. At the end of the anime series, Echizen left to go to the US Opening, so therefore it seems as if he couldn't go to the Nationals with Seigaku. But then in those extra OAVs he came back and joined the team in the Nationals.

I dunno about the pot manga. I only watch the anime. Personally. I think the anime are great! Lots of bishonens, great voice actor, variety type of character, tenipuri (chibi version), humour series, and interesting rivals. There's also a few(?) slash for shonen-ai lovers^^

Ohh.. I didn't read the whole manga either, I stopped after Fuji's 4th counter^^'' ButI agree with what you said about the Anime^^
