I was at a kick-ass Halloween party yesterday.
And to my surprise I won a prize for the best costume :D
This is me disguised as a rabbit:

kowaii (did anyone say KAWAIII??) but good!
this is even creepier than the bunny from Donnie Darko! (although he looked creepy and hilarious at the same time)

Here's a picture of my zombie friend...

She was going for the Japanese doll look.

Great costumes!!! :)
I dressed up as the devil, and gave out candy... :)
aabbqrstp - November 6, 2007 08:48 PM (GMT)
Thank you Kelly :taiyou:
You are much nicer person than us, giving away candy. We just went to a party to dance and drink.
But then we don't have any kids walking around asking for candy, Halloween isn't a tradition here in Sweden.
For me and my two Japanese friends it was our first time dressing up for Halloween. Perhaps for my zombie friend (and room-mate) as well, though I doubt it, he is much more social and outgoing than me.
Aaah. I really enjoyed riding the tram and walking the streets to the party with my friends, all dressed up in horrible disguises :D

Ahahaha... His leather attire seems to work on German girls :D
He met his previous girlfriend (a German girl) wearing those clothes (but only wearing a net shirt on his torso) at festival.

Really? hhahaa.. he really looks attractive in that outfit, especially in those pants, most people look ridiculous in leather pants! xD
(ok, but I'm not a fan of net shirts)

I am very curious. What's the cool thing about karaoke in Japan? I didn't do it when I was there (I guess mainly because I don't like to sing and I was by myself?). My coworkers and a few people that I know also sing karaoke in japan...
-hm-
Jerkface - January 30, 2008 03:49 AM (GMT)
Singing with pretty girls is the key.

Karaoke in Japan is awesome because they have tons of songs. Basically, any good karaoke place will have pretty much all of Go!Go!'s discography to sing. It's like karaoke paradise. Plus you're in private rooms so only your friends get to laugh at you or sing with you. And you can go with pretty boys if you like, whatever, it's still FUN.
Here we only have a couple of place that do that kind of things. And their Japanese selection suck... only 2 GoGo songs in town -_-. When I went to New York City, the place had a good Japanese machine and I was able to sing a lot more GoGo songs <3
Since you're in Cali it should be easy to find a karaoke place that has a decent Japanese machine.

They have private rooms in HK and in CA too so I guess I am not too crazy. I don't know how to sing Japanese so I am not into Karaoke.
Plus... seriously... you won't want me to sing -ui-
Which version of drummania do you have at your area? I haven't been to the arcade so long. Last time I check we have V3 in LA.
