I just got the album at Jpopsuki to tide me over till mine comes in the mail. As the name suggests, there is a lot of variety on the album. I have only listened to it once, but it seems like i'll be listening to it a lot more soon. If you're a fan of ringo or jihen, you gotta check it out.

OH MY GOSH! You just saved my day! I was waiting the album for tomorrow or so, and the torrent was in the 2nd page already.. So I would not notice that!! THANK YOU SO MUCH (L) I'm downloading it now and I'll post what I thought about the album.. but i'm sure that will pwn Kyouiku and Adult!!

After 3 listens, the album is still awesome. I can't say it pwns Adult, but thats difficult since Adult is close to being my favorite album ever. But thats just me, hehe. Variety seems more like a collection of really cool songs, than an album, to me. I could listen to it on random and enjoy it just as much. I can never listen to Adult on random, since it all flows so perfectly.

The 7th song on Variety reminds me of Tool. check it. I like Tool, so I don't mind. :)

Tool? whats tool? I liked the track 7!! The track 1, LAMP is a nice song and its becoming to grow on me -ui- . Something that dispointted me was the new version of Mirroball.. =\ the live version pwns this one. At first, I thought Kingyo no hako would sound very diff from the preview I heard but its still a nice song.. one of my favorites from Tokyo Jihen discography!! Shiseikatsu (the one composed by Kameda) its lyrics were said to be the continuation of Toumei Ningen lyrics :o ... I thought it would be a really pwning song at Superstar level.. its a nice song yet xD.. well OSCA is something weird and lovely that doesnt deserve to be reviewed D:.. Kronekodow is so so ... *-* omg! ..Fukushuu is the most heavy rock from TJ so far, I like it. Boutomin should be sung only by Izawa and Ringo -_- ukigumo fucks all the song. SSAW (spring, summer, autumn, winter) really impressed me ... its a cute and nice track!! And I love love love tsukigihime ! Sake to geko was a song that was not caught by my mind .. yet o_O .. nothing to say about Killer Tune :taiyou: its in my TJ Top 5 fav songs. Metro.. I didnt like it at first ( i have something with Ukigumo, really dont like him) but its a nice song ... o_O some parts of the album sounds so weird ... one thing I think this album is lacking is the mix between tracks that the past albums had.. Like Yukiguni/Kabuki.. yes, a good word to describe the whole album is "randomness" -hm- It's my favorite album indeed!

Great album, it just gets better with every listen. Can't wait for my copy to arrive!

Have you really never heard Tool? Maybe they were never big outside of the U.S. Fukushuu doesn't really sound like tool. Its more just in that direction. I recommend Tool. they are pretty heavy music, but they seem to be be better musically than most heavy metal that ive heard. I'm not really a metal head or anything, but I like a few metalish bands. If you were to check them out, i'd recommend Undertow or Ænema. I think alot of their fans like their later stuff, but I never liked it as much as those albums.
