sad news for anyone who enjoy this punk-pop band. they are officially disbanding. here it is from JAME

Pop punk group ketchup mania has announced that they will disband after their last one-man tour later this year. BAD X 2 GIG FINAL-Sayonara ketchup- will consist of two consecutive concerts at Shimokitazawa CLUB251 on May 5th and 6th and another one at Nagoya APOLLO THEATER on May 10th.

Prior to the tour, on April 8th, the band will release two best-of compilations titled THE BEST OF ketchup mania. The first one will consist of 39 songs from their major period divided into two discs, while the second one will be a CD+DVD release from their indie era.




I saw these guys last year and they had a ton of energy. too bad

I remember checking them out because my friend told me they were somewhat like Judy and Mary(another of my favorite bands). It's too bad they're disbanding. :(

I was hoping to see them again at Japan Night this year but i guess not. They really rocked the house at last years Japan Night. Especially after Petty Booka's performance (i think they went on after, i forgot) they really got things going.

yeah, they were the only band that had the mosh on during their set. they and detroit7 really were japan nite 08!!
