I don't use Ebay or Paypal anymore.
My Paypal account was hacked and used for $15,000 in overseas auctions. Luckily I only had $460 in my checking account at the time (I usually move most of my money to my savings account) so that is all the cleared. Paypal was really cool and recovered my money.
My Ebay account was also hacked (different password) and used to send spam messages to hundreds of users. My Ebay inbox was full of replies like "fuck off!" "you are scum" etc.
