I just want to say there seem to be a lot of drama going on.... that's because we know each others from the board.... we are not exclusive -hm-

people doesnt like invisionfree I think -hm- and some people doesnt accept having a 15 year old administrator (sn)

it doesnt matter which kind of forum or what age the admins are..
I think the forum is easy and quick to use, and we don't write childish stuff like OH EM GEE Y'ALL cHeCK It OuT YOoO NeW GoGO SiNGLe so that can't be what's keeping new members from posting.

Sometimes it happens that I think I REALLY like somehting (like a TV show) ,so I join a forum about it, but I end up posting in the welcome thread and a few times in popular threads but then I forget about it, cause my obsession over XYZ has faded away. And I think it's like that with ppl who have joined but only postet a few times/never.
Also, ppl realize it's hard to keep up with the flood of new posts, or they can't provide anything we DON't know, or they are shy cause some of us know each other.
There are tons of reasons..

Maybe we should go for a more "professional" look?XD like finally change the layout to something less playful, and remove the KATAOMOI FAITAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA from the top....

maybe instead of using this space for an outburst of happiness, we can use it as an "important announcement" or "latest news/release line"
or not use it at all

Well there is really nothing you can do to promote people posting. On the small amount of artist based forums I've been on, the artist was the only thing the people had in common, but the people don't really talk about the artist that much. Only when news pops up. But then they talk about it for a week and no more.

So in my opinon a artist based forum is kept alive by its offtopic conversation and its fan boy/girl ranting on about how much they like this part of the artist or that part. Or coming up with fantasy situations for that artist to be in. Almost no artist forum I've been to has constant talk about the artist's work. Its just the more people on your forum the more opinions you hear from everybody posting once. Here everybody posts once and the thread is like 2 pages, on some sites if everybody posts once or twice its a good 3, 4,maybe even 5 page topic. I think for the amount of (active) members here, there is a LOT of discussion going on... A lot of other forums are much more dead than this place, plus you guys are hilarious!


Plus new people revive old threads and ask the vets for their opinions... like I did when I first got here.... So the more new people joining the more old stuff gets talked about, leading to even more talk. But I think that this forum is a success. What more could you do? Except force more people to like go go by rick rolling their ass to katomoi fighter and other go go PVs?

YEAH!!! Let's force people to listen and like GO!GO! let's start from our neighborhood! let's make posters and listen to them in high volume! and distribute leaflets! :lol: omg! that would be funny! =D
