Title: Last Album/Single/CD/Vinyl/8-Track you bought
Description: NO PIRACY HERE

Primushead - March 28, 2008 05:46 AM (GMT)
So, like the thread title states, what was the last Album/Single/CD/Vinyl/8-Track/Cassette whatever that you bought.

And when I mean bought, I mean BOUGHT. Not downloaded from the internet, or burned from your friend or whatever.

Feel free to update as time goes on.

When I was downtown today, they had the original 1990 release of Primus "Suck On This" album at the used record store for $8 It was the only Primus album I didn't have, and while I could of had it new for roughly the same price at the record store around the corner. I wanted the original 1990 because I'm a nerd like that (you see, "Suck On This" was Primus' first release. It was two live concerts from 1989. The original was released on a independent label, while the re-release was on (bassist and leader) Les Claypool's record label. I have no idea if the original release is rarer or not, but like I said, I like it that way. :P )

When I got home, I saw that a site was selling the soundtrack to Les Claypool's (awesome) film, "Electric Apricot" plus as a bonus, they're sending a CD booklet signed by Claypool himself. The whole deal was $12, which is the same price as it was in the store... but this comes with an autograph. Deal.

This is why I named myself Primushead. -ui-

Oh, and I bought the Primus DVD, Blame It On The Fish earlier this week too.

Whoa. Coincidentally, I just found out about Detroit7.

They're pretty cool.

I swear, Kurt Cobain was reincarnated as a Japanese woman and is now fronting Detroit7.

I started to like their music... but I am still made in Go Go!

Her voice is... unique...

And she stands on the ball of her feet to sing... that was interested. Is that just her or a lot of people actually do that? (sorry I don't go to concert often)

Char! He's awesome.

And yeah, GO!GO! is much better. But, they're grunge to the max.

I still swear that she's Cobain. The grunge sound and voice. She even plays guitar left-handed!

They were on the JRock Nirvana tribute album. They do "Rape Me."

It may be that she stands up on the balls of her feet because she is barefoot. When I am barefoot, I stand and move on the balls of my feet instead of laying my feet flat.

no, not many people do this.

I didn't really buy it, but the Japanese student I hosted back when I was in high school is back in America for a few months and came to visit us today. She gave me the newest EXILE single. I haven't listened to them before, and despite being pop, it's pretty good.

Of course, being a gift from someone I haven't seen in two years makes me a bit biased. :P

The present she gave my dad was awesome. She remembered that my dad played guitar and picked up some random guitar picks when she was in Japan. I took a look at them, and there were a two that were just cool looking and I had no idea where they were from, one was Hello Kitty but my favorite ones were a Paul Gilbert Ibanez one and one was a "hide with Spread Beaver." Since I'm a fan of Gilbert and hide/X Japan, I thought they were really awesome.

I asked her if she knew the guitarists on them, and she had no idea. She literally picked them at random, so for two of my favorite guitarists/bands to be on them, rocks.

Definitely. It's not like some of the other ones I've seen where they load it up with stuff TM Revolution and L'arc~en~Ciel.

I'll probably pick up Volume 1 sometime soon. They're $10 each at Hot Topic of all places, so it's a great deal.
