We all know Yuu and Akko were high school friends, but does anyone know what Turkey's history is? From what I gather he was just a drummer that the record label introduced to Yuu and Akko to round out the trio.

Listening to Turkey's drumming still amazes me... most times I think that he's the one who can play his instrument the best out of the group (Turkey > Akko > Yuu). So I'm inclined to think he had some experience before GO!GO!... unless he was the product of some top secret Toshiba-EMI funded genetic experiment to create the world's craziest and amusing drummer (The TURKEY Project?!)?

Anyone read anything on the matter?

Turkey is my nigga, and he runs the streets.

Seeing as he does a lot of support work for other singers when he's not in GO!GO! (see: Otsuka, Ai), my guess is that he might have been doing that, working as a studio musician.

But who knows, he might have been in some random indie group that broke up and he was out of a job.

Yes I think I read somewhere he used to play in an indies band before he joined gogo. but no one seems to remember the name.

Oh, I wonder if his past stuff will ever resurface... in this regard he's even more "mysterious" than Yuu!
