Title: the c7 mystery...

Felipe and I talked about this a while ago...
my question: Do ANY of you notice a difference between C7 and C7 (album mix)?
The only difference seems to be the track length, but that's not really relevant.
album mix is 4:13 min and 'single version' C7 is 4:15min.

it's driving me crazy!! why did they call it album mix??

"thunder girl (kanden version)" from the best of is basically the same song too, but turkey counts off differently in the beginning. i always thought it was so unneccessary to trick the fans into believing they'd actually record a new version of a song by putting a "XYZ version" in brackets. XDD

we are not nuts.. wikipedia japan says the difference between c7 album and single are almost nothing.. maybe they just re-record it :0

ah, I can't notice some voice effects, but that's all

and I notice that on Bungu both ver too @_@

It seems like Japanese bands do that a lot.

They call something "album version" when it seems like it's EXACTLY like the single version.

HYAKU POSUTOOOOOO~!

I was wondering this too,
so i did a compering, setting up c7 album mix in my right ear, and c7 single in my left, using high end earplugs.
I think album mix is slightly more grainy in term of sound quility, but this could be, and most likely bad encoding to mp3, even though its 320kbs.

And after about 1 minute , the album mix is somewhat in front of c7 single, and by the last 3 minutes gains the 2 extra seconds, because the song is going 2 seconds faster all in all. But streched over 4minutes u cant hear the difference.

I even did a test, speeding C7 single so it lasted for 4:08, it still sounds "original" and i bet i even could go as far as 4:00 without ppl telling difference untill comparing side by side.

But why this is done is for me a mystery
