Sooo, I'm going to Japan to study Japanese this fall! :D :D :D
I'll be going to Tokyo Gakugei and I'll be there for one whole year.
My university has connections to several Japanese universities and is allowed to send as many students to Japan as it receives from them.

I tried to go back in october, and catch gogo's concert at Club Que on Oct 4th, but the plans I made completely fell through in such a way that left me with a sour taste in my mouth, so I didn't go ;_;

Tokyo Gakugei are slooow. Those of us who are going there haven't got the papers from them yet. (and those going to Osaka University got theirs weeks ago) (sn)

I talked to one of the other students going to Japan, apparently I will have to take a chest x-ray to send to them with my application papers. Something about tuberculosis. I'll have to ask those in charge for more details when i can get in touch with them...

I got papers from Gakugei a few days ago...
I am relieved, I was starting to think they had forgotten about us.... :D

Talked to a Japanese friend about the dormitories exchange students can live in. The one she recommended was 東久留米国際学生宿舎.
About 40 minutes by bike from the school. It's also possible to go by train, but that would take more time and not be as healthy :P
