Title: Akko's albums

Macaroni-kun - August 17, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
I heard Yuu's solo album a long time ago (and later bought the CD+DVD version yay) and I love it. All I heard was that Akko's solo album/s are boring. But alas, just a coupld days ago I downloaded aruyou whatever it's called, and I actually liked it....yeah, maybe it's all slow music, but it wasn't boring. And KIRARI just finished downloading, so I'm going to listen to that later.

NOT BORING PEOPLE, IT'S LUSH!

I liked the albums specially for kimi to boku no modokashii kyori (from aruyou whatever comes then) and 22 from kirari *o*

Haha I agree, Aruyou de Naiyou de, Arumono is a very lush album. Tight, well-structured and more conceptually sound than KIRARI I think, which was rockier but thematically a bit all over the place.

Even though Yuu's album is definitely more eclectic and adventurous, I've actually listened to Aruyou de... far more because it's easier on the ears. Soothing textures, less high-pitched wailing.

I wish I could appreciate Akko's solo albums more than I do! I love her vocals, but I wasn't overly impressed. I do enjoy Aruyou de... once in a while, though.

I really love "Kawaii Dokubou" from Kirari, but that album is all over the place. I haven't listened to Aruyou yet, though.
