According to the official website the new release is a new cover album, entitled Tora no Ana 2 (not the definite title) and will be out this spring

Ok I just suggested: Mahoutsukai sally, Attack no.1 and Shiawase no Uta (from their live)
also Playback part.2 (Yamaguchi Momoe) - they already did a song by her on Tora no Ana 1, and this one is even better imo
Hito ni Yasashiku (The Blue Hearts) - I can so imagine Yuu singing this one :D
Shimauta (The Boom) - I'm sure they could do a really interesting cover on this one
Giza giza no komori uta (The Checkers) - Again, they could really make this one even better

To tell you the truth, I can't either. Then again... I can't really see them doing an X Japan song either.

I tried to pick songs that were somewhat important to the bands/artists I chose. Tsunami, Love Machine and A Song for XX all sold over 1 million copies. Tsunami is even 4th on the list of highest singles ever sold. Kurenai and Hoshizora no Distance are both X Japan's and The Alfee's most well known songs (Plus, seeing as The Alfee is one of Japan's oldest and still active rock bands, it wouldn't surprise me if Turkey was a fan). I think RR21 sold well, but that one was more of a joke anyway.

Like I said, I doubt any of my songs would be picked... but it'd be fun to imagine a Yumi cover of A Song For XX.

if gogo covers momusu or ayumi, they'll be so famous in japan that they can't say "nah, we're not THAT successful...." anymore. ;)
