This league may be just what your looking for.
Just send in a Team Registration Form and Check the Wednesday Draft League. All the players will be put in a hat and "drafted" onto teams.
NOTE: If we get several "GOLD" players. or players deemed to be in a high skill level category these players will be spread evenly amongst the teams to create a more balance division. We are working on the format but it will probably be an 11 game format with lots of doubles and team oriented play. It will be announced as soon as it is finalized and approved by the League Director.
The draft will be held tentatively at Panera Bread on the same day as Scheduling.
If your interested in being a Captain of one of the teams please note that on the registration form. Otherwise it will be up to the teams to appoint a captain on the first night of Play. There will also be a Free Agent Pool in case people drop out for various reasons so if your interested in being an alternate or a free agent to be picked up if necessary please turn in a registration form and note that on the form.
The league will play at Bobby O's bar in Lakewood on Detroit Rd. We would like to get around 20-24 people to start and have 4/ - 5 man teams. If we get enough people we will go to 8 teams and 4 teams will play at Bobby O's and 4 teams will play at the Fraternal Order of the Oriole in Cleveland near 117th and Lorain.
If we get 24-28 players in certain areas like the East Side or the Parma or North
Olmstead Area will will get bars in those areas and have team out of there. In our current plan the 4 teams will all be in one division and play at 1 bar. So there will be no extra traveling except to Bobby O's.
Booby O's has agreed to pay all weekly and registration fees so as long as your a current member there will be NO FEES TO PAY. NOTE: Summer registration to become a member of the CDC is only $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We think there will be a lot of interest in this league and would like to run it year round. Prizes will be the same as all Summer prizes.
