Title: Write-ups
Description: Any recognition?

Dennis CDC# 88-3173 - April 2, 2008 02:25 PM (GMT)
Besides posting write-ups, in a kinda hard to find link tingues:
write-ups

Are there going to be any Plaques? Pins? Certificates? Something?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Is the list of write-ups going to be checked and updated with the score sheets when they are mailed in at the end of the session?

180's will be getting a Patch.
I am currently working on Pins from Barry at Anglo American for pins.
Any suggestions on the details on Pins? One for cricket write up? 1 for 01 write up? 1 for 10 write ups? 1 for 100 write ups? Career pin for all write ups?
Let me know?
Jon

How about a pin for 3 or more writeups?

I just noticed that some players have write ups for the team 801, higher than 23 darts which is all I can find on the scoresheet for an 01 write up.

What gives? What is a write up for team 801? and why isn't it on the score sheet?

Write-ups have definitely been missed because of this error. But what does it matter if darters aren't getting anything for write-ups anyways????

Here is what you get for a 4 team division.

1st *$250.00
2nd *$160.00
3rd *$110.00
4th *$80.00
This = $600 plus a Tavern Plaque.
Plus if your fortunate you may get into money in the playoffs.

This is what it costs for team fees $1344 and registration fees $60 for a 4 team division total $1404 per session and dont forget all of the individual membership fees. And if any bars purchased lottery tickets for the playoffs you can add that in also.

My question is why wouldnt darters get anything for a write up?

Last season (Winter I Session), the write-up for a team 801 game was 36-darts.

But its not written anywhere on the session II scoresheet.

If its not written, it cannot be referenced as a write up.

I believe the team 01 write-up was written on the session I scoresheet. I will have to see if I still have last session scoresheet.

I also believe other write-up criteria changed from this session to last?

Hi everyone it is me your fearless League Director!!!! (LOL)
I am feverishly working on Write-ups and having Missy put them on the score sheet for summer session. I have tweaked a lot of them and made sure that all of the games are covered. With all of the chaos over the past few months it is hard to cover everything all at once and get to everything that needs to be addressed. However I have heard the darters request for writeup recognition and I am working on it. Missy and I got a book in the mail the other day with pins in it.

Would I be correct in saying that most people really are not interested in plaques anymore? We had hundreds of them at the storage unit and the office from years gone by that were just never picked up.

My thinking is that a pin can be attached to a dart case or dart jacket/shirt and worn/displayed as kind of a badge of achievement and that would be better for the darters. Also we could probably just mail them to people and avoid people having to come pick them up. I will work on that.

I should know more by folder pick up. Anyone who reads this can let their captain know that they hit a Ton-80 in either of the winter sessions and I will put a Ton-80 Patch in the folder and the Captain can give it to them the first week of Summer Session. We have lots of them so they are not an issue.

Be patient and I will get this situation addressed in a timely manner. The way Missy has the write up page on the computer it will be real easy to know who has write-ups and who does not. So it will not be a big problem to go back to this session and get people the pins they earned.

I know this is a old topic, but my questions involve write-ups.
Are the write-ups listed on the web page up to date? If so, who should I contact regarding missing write-ups?

Jon Molnar, CDC 920271 - May 6, 2008 01:51 PM (GMT)
I would suggest getting ahold of Jon London. You will also need to have the scoresheets with the missing write ups for verification.
