TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
Please be advised of my intention to resign from the CLEVELAND
DARTER CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS, and as VICE-PRESIDENT.
This decision was made by me after listening to the concerns of many fellow darters in the organization regarding my seat on the BOD, along with my wife Missy being a paid consultant. I have discussed this situation at length with Tom Janis, Club President, and we both feel that to remain in compliance with this club’s By-Laws, unfortunately at this time I must resign. It is with great sadness that I do this as I feel we were starting down a road with great things in-store for this club. I was hopeful at some point to even be the President, and lead this club to great heights. I will remain active in club events and will remain on as League Director. I have been assured by Tom, that my importance and input into club dealings will be just as prevalent as LD as it was as VP if not more.
Please be aware that with my resignation and Tom’s pending resignation as Club President that we will need people with business and/or Board member experience to come forward and join the B.O.D. as soon as possible. If you or someone on your dart team has business or marketing experience or has been a Board Member before please encourage them to join the CDC B.O.D. We are definitely at a cross roads right now and all help will be greatly appreciated. I am very sorry that this all came about so suddenly, but when situations arise they must be dealt with accordingly.
This resignation takes place immediately.
Thank you for your support and understanding during this period,
JAMES LONDON
