The United States 2007 World Cup Team is on the way to the Netherlands to take on 46 other countries in the WDF World Cup. Jim Widmayer, Gary Mawson, Chris Linkous and Joe Slivan look to improve on the Top 8 finish of the 2005 Men in Perth, Australia, while our Women, Stacy Bromberg and Marilyn Popp are trying to bring home the gold that narrowly escaped them in Perth in 2005. Competition begins on Thursday, so keep up with the US Team as they go for the Gold.

From Thursday October 10th until Sunday 14th World Cup Darts XVI is played at the Autotron in Den Bosch Netherlands. A record number of 41 countries participate in this event. 40 in the men's, 38 in the ladies and 15 in the youth event.


Day 1

The US Team went undefeated on the first day of the World Cup in Holland. In the Mens team event the US team has made it through to the Semi Finals where they will meet England on Saturday. In the other semi-final Northern Ireland will face the host country, the Netherlands. The US Women went through their group in the Womens Pairs competition undefeated, posting a 4-0 record on their way to the Top 16.
