Title: About This New Forum

Scott Madis - August 19, 2005 10:47 PM (GMT)
Greetings! You made it!

OK, there's definitely a bit of a learning curve here. Not like the old slambam boards we've had prior. I'm still a newbie myself, so don't feel bad.

However, I'm very confident that once you do a few posts, click around on some things and see what is available, you'll be pleased with this new forum home. There's a lot of bells & whistles to play with here.

Once again, a very very special thanks to Dennis Leonard CDC 88-3173 for his ongoing assistance in the creation of this forum!

If there's something you can't figure out, and you don't like fishing in Help files, post your problem here and we'll try to get you a solution toute suite. Please note, we'll try! No promises.

There's quite a few decent threads in the the old forum that we'll try to eventually get fired back up over here.

If you have a thread that you started, or responded to over there, that you want credit for, I recommend you go copy it and paste it in the appropriate location here. Don't worry too much if you get the wrong Forum (the header at the top, such as Darter->General Forum Area->The Commons Area) - we can move it to the right place. Actually, YOU might be able to move it to the right place, as I believe there's some decent EDIT capability in here.

I think I'll close here now as my the thermo in my little hole in the office says 90.5 degrees, and that's a bit much.

I hope you find this to be at least half the improvement that I do - in which case I'll be even more pleased. We'll get some polls and stuff up, soon. As soon as yours truly can think straight....
~ Scott

Absolutely! AND, if you know HOW we should go about making that improvement, that's even better!
