dr. jean elisabeth grey

the life of jean grey can be told just as easily through photographs. this particular album starts with her mid-college days, when she'd been working her way through med school as a model, and follows through to the present.

"I stand on a precipice
I struggle to keep my balance
I open myself
I open myself one stitch at a time"

"I never even saw the flash go off;
I suppose it's payback for all of the
pictures I've taken of Scott when he
wasn't paying attention."

"This was one of the very first
photographs I'd had taken when
I first started modeling.
It's one of my favorites; it
actually looks like me."

"If I didn't think you could do
Anything you ever wanted to
If I wasn't certain that you'd come through somehow
The fact of the matter is
I wouldn't be standing here now"

"Ororo, Scott and I took the kids to
the museum for a joint lesson once.
Unfortunately, when we heard a ruckus?
We all knew where it was coming from."

user posted image

"Scott's just...perfect, really."

user posted image

"Even when he isn't paying attention.
This really might be one of my favorite
photos of him; he looks so serious and
thoughtful."

user posted image

"I honestly don't know what I
would do without Ororo. She's a
second sister to me, and she's
always there when I need her.
Sometimes, she knows before
I do when I need her."

user posted image

"She was always good with the
younger children; they take to her
so easily."

user posted image

"I owe everything to the Professor.
I believe this is from a time when my
powers were especially unpredictable.
He didn't stop looking until he'd learned
just why."

user posted image

"Once again, from the trip to the museum;
oh, dear. We couldn't seem to keep the kids
from getting into mischief. I swear, one of them
thought it would be a wonderful idea to take
pictures when we were looking for the
real mischief-makers."

user posted image

"Who really has time to take these
pictures when we're on a mission?"

user posted image

"Meet my family."

user posted image

"Despite everything, all of the confusion
he caused, Logan is, above all else, a friend."

user posted image

"...oh. How did this one get in here?"

future and forever -- jean elisabeth && scott james

"I think we both can see what could be better
I'll own when I was wrong
With all we've had to go through
We'll end up twice as strong"

user posted image

"It's amazing where you'll find a student
hiding out with a camera these days –
now they're hiding out in the Danger
Room hoping to catch us adults in...
…illicit acts."

user posted image

"Sometimes, I admit that we tend to
forget there are children around.
Children with cameras, apparently.
This was a 'Scott, not in front of the children'
moment."

user posted image

"Even we have the occasional argument."

user posted image

"...and sometimes, I can't even listen to him after a point."

user posted image

"...but we always make up."

"We're just like any other couple, really.
In fact, those are some of my most favorite
moments. Those times when we can just sit
together and do something as simple as watch
something on television, no matter what it is.
It's nice not to have to feel the weight of the world
on your shoulders every once in awhile. It's even
nicer to feel the weight of his arm on your shoulders."

I find this blaspho- blashphi blaspha racist. Where are the pictures of me? Huh? You're so lame. But, because I am amazing here is a picture of me looking fantastic - its from when you made us all be smart for the school photos. Treasure it.
