Passionate about what she does, and works hard at it.
Honest and upfront.
Protective and caring of those she cares about.

Bossy, and must be the leader in most situations.
Over-competitive, and takes even games too seriously.

Overly-critical of herself and others.
Impulsive and impatient, does things on the spur of the moment without thinking first.

quirks: at least three
love potion: Treacle Tart, Cinnamon, Ginger.
patronus:(animal that represents you
boggart: Lily's reality at the moment. Trapped, alone in a dark cage, without anyone there, whilst all hope is lost. Therefore, her boggart would turn into simply just that cage; imprisoned until she died.
dementor: It had been days, now. Maybe even weeks. She was completely alone, kidnapped, leaning against the walls of her cage as she sat, too full of pain to move. Breathing deeply, in and out, her body exhausted from the lack of food, the lack of sleep, the lack of happiness, as she just tried to hold on as long as she could. Bright red scars covered her freckled arms, gashes on her slender legs, burn marks on her collar bone and bruises everywhere. Abused, mentally, physically, sexually, damaged in too many ways. Sobbing quietly, her head in her hands, blue eyes looking down towards the grey, filthy floor, wishing that none of this had happened. But it had. She had been stolen away into the darkness. The fifteen year old girl hadn't given up hope yet. Lily thought she never would.

"Crucio." A scream of pain as Lily writhed on the floor. They had come to get her again, to take her from her cell, but now there were more of them, much more, people watching as she was tortured. Spells, curses, each shouted by the same individual, intent on hurting her as much as possible. But not just that. Knives, brands, kicks. It was driving her to the brink of insanity, yet the audience, they were enjoying the view. She sobbed and cried, but it didn't stop, unrelenting, showing for once in her life she was scared. This is what hell was like. This is what hell was for Lily Potter, trapped and tortured. They never stopped watching, yet they never saved her. That was when the fifteen year old girl gave up hope.
{lily's first torture show.}

personality: A leader at heart, Lily can be occasionally bossy, though she tends to never realize this unless someone points it out. She usually tries to take control of things one way or another, and hates it if anyone tries to do the same, or in other words, tell her what to do. To some people she gives the impression that she's arrogant, and maybe even she is. She's sure of herself and her abilities and never underestimates or overestimates her talents. With a natural confidence, she's quite an outgoing, social person, and has a large group of friends. She's not scared of being center of attention or making a scene, though she does not particularly strive for it. It takes a lot to make her nervous, and would never get embarrassed from delivering a speech to all of the school for example, and she wouldn't even be that shameful if she fell to her arse whilst walking to the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall.

Naturally intelligent, generally Lily cares rather a lot about her studies, but her priorities are in the right order, and it lies somewhere after friends, family and breathing. Quite ambitious, Lily won't be happy at all unless she makes something out of herself, yet she doesn't quite desire fame, and not even a sackful of galleons. To be ever so cliche, she wants to be one of those people that 'helps others.' In the future, she hopes to be an auror, a successful one at that, and as a result she's had to study hard for her exams so far, though none as important as her impending OWLS. Not being particularly patient, she's been known to get tired of studying rather quickly, yet she somehow manages to struggle through, whilst mentally hitting herself in the head. For Lily, if you achieve a goal through being sneaky, lying, or other unadmirable acts, it's not worth it at all. The 'fair and square' way is the only way to go, and the idea of 'cheating' has never particularly occurred to the girl. Horribly competitive, Lily often takes 'games' too seriously, even if it's just a quick game of Wizarding Chess, or perhaps a friendly match of Quidditch in the garden. Particularly fond of challenge, especially a hard one with decent opponents, she's always determined to do her best and usually win, no matter how much of a strain it must cause her. This kind of attitude sometimes causes people around her to pull her hair about, particularly when she was little and forced all her cousins into a huddle where they would discuss game plans for the next round of 'tag.'

Never, ever tease Lily with information. She's curious about everything, and once you've told her you have a secret she won't stop till she finds it out. Even still, she'll never tell this secret to another person. Fiercely loyal, Lily sticks by her friends in all situations, even too much, being somewhat unfairly bias towards them in many situations. One of her most annoying traits is that damn hero complex, her need to always be the savior for everyone else. She'll always stick up for her friends, and even does the same for strangers if she feels that they're being treated unjustly. But Lily herself doesn't need a 'savior', at least in her eyes. She usually refuses to let anyone take care of her, and hates whenever she appears to be vulnerable or weak. Being 'helped' showed that she needed help, so she always does everything before anyone can offer to. She's an extremely strong girl, woman, even, who is perfectly fine with looking after herself. Independent, she doesn't need to rely on anyone but herself.

Outgoing, verging on loud. Lily has plenty of things to say, and it would be a good idea if you listened to her, unless you actually want your head bitten off. She can't stand when someone ignores her, and although not really a chatterbox, she speaks whatever is on her mind at all times. Extremely opinionated, she can just never keep her mouth shut, and her views on certain matters have the knack with her getting into trouble with many a blood purist. Quite tactless when this does occur, she doesn't sugarcoat her words during these arguments, and she's known to swear and be overly harsh when it comes down to it, becoming more personally insulted by someone else's contradicting opinion then she should. Her temper is practically infamous in her year at Hogwarts school, and if it's unleashed, then it would be best if you ran quickly away. However, unless you've done something significantly bad, Lily will only use words and a very, very angry voice as her weapons, leaving hexes and punches for times that she really needs them. Small things annoy her and make her angry, and when they're said or done by you, you better watch out Fiery, just like her mother, if you hadn't figured it out by now, when Lily is mad or upset, she's a force to be reckoned with.

Of course, Lily Potter is brave. Not in the tasteful, unobvious way, either. There's practically nothing the girl won't do if circumstances call for it. A cat got onto their roof? Well, she'll just have to climb up there. Going into the Forbidden Forest? A breeze. Yet Lily never does these things for no reason, nor particularly because she enjoys them. However, Lily Potter is still dangerously reckless. For someone quite intelligent she tends to commit stupid acts quite regularly if the situation calls for it. The girl just doesn't particularly care about the consequences for herself, and sees herself as far more 'invincible' then she actually is. Impulsive, she'll do it simply on the spur of the moment if she has to, rather obviously showing that sometimes she acts before she thinks. Not someone that particularly tries to get into trouble, though that doesn't stop her breaking the rules when she considers it's for the 'greater good', pranking has never appealed to her. Neither do the promiscuous nights that her eldest brother spends so much time having with practically every girl he isn't related to in the school. Occasionally flirty, but not drastically so, she doesn't go around snogging all the boys, and doesn't desire to, either. At the age of fifteen, she's had a few kisses here and there, but has never got particularly serious with anyone, oh so typically waiting for her 'true love.'With strong, feminist values, Lily hates being patronized in any way, especially if it's due to her gender. She hates being seen as a 'sweet little girl', and usually any man at least that says that to her gets a sharp kick in the crotch, or at least gets his ear bitten off.

Whenever Lily sees inadequacies in a person, she feels the constant need to change them. Mainly, it's anyone that doesn't share her point of view when it comes to Voldemort or his inhumane acts before his death. Not only is she overly-critical of others, she's also the same about herself, and has the tendency to always yell at herself later when she finally, finally remembers that she did something rather awful, or stupid. However, she's not the kind of person that talks about others behind their back, or if she does, it's after she's told the person in question exactly what she thinks about them first, in very explicit detail. Very self-righteous, she tends to enforce her morals onto other people, and dismisses anyone who doesn't meet them. Lily is passionate about nearly everything she does, and is never lazy or particularly hesitant. She gets on with most teachers, though she has a slight cheek reminiscent of her mother and her namesake.

Generally nice, Lily is quite a kind person. She's not one of the sweetest girls, but she has a genuine caring side to her which is especially obvious to her friends. Also reliable, she's there for them no matter what, especially when they ask her to be. She's responsible enough to take the consequences for her own actions, and will willingly take the blame if it was her fault. Quite protective, she tries to look after them, even mollycoddling them a little. Very generous, Lily will always help out the people that need it, and doesn't mind sacrificing her time for others. However, she's terribly stubborn, too, and since she hates revealing flaws in herself or appearing 'weak', it takes her a while to apologize, even when she realizes as she was definitely in the wrong. It's as though her pride forbids it, despite her not feeling particularly superior to anyone else. Dignified, despite her many flaws, Lily constantly tries to fit the role of being a good person, a hero, or to put it simply, to be perfectly righteous, yet she doesn't always succeed.

[ take a look back in time

parents: Harry James Potter.
Ginevra "Ginny" Molly Weasley.
siblings:
history: On the eighteeneth of July, the bundling package of joy which was Lily Molly Potter was delivered to Harry and Ginny Potter, their third child and their first, and probably only female. Like most babies, she was born with bright blue eyes, although the colour didn't change as she grew older. A few days later, her fiery red hair became apparent, as by then a few tufts had begun to grow on her over-sized head. Surrounded by family, there wasn't a moment when Lily wasn't given constant attention, whether it be from her parents or her various aunts and uncles. Completely doted upon, there was an unmeasurable amount of love in their unit, seen by many as the 'perfect' family. Her father was the Head of the Magical Law Department, whilst her mother was a former Harpies player who now wrote for the Daily Prophet as their successful Quiddich reporter. Always crawling around on all fours, Lily would watch her older siblings complete even the most menial tasks, curious about this whole new world and eager to find everything out about it. Never sitting still, she was the baby constantly getting under everyone's feet, but they loved all the same.

Perhaps when Lily started to walk, that's when the trouble began. She hadn't been taught that vital lesson, 'walk before you can run'. This new form of transport opened up all new sorts of possibilities for her, including climbing on top of every piece of furniture that they owned and generally sprinting around and causing havoc. Of course, along the way there were a few fall downs, bumps and bruises, but she would merely continue on afterwards without even crying. Thankfully for Lily's parents, she never had the habit of keeping them up all night crying, though that wasn't to say she didn't talk during the daytime. Many conversations of babytalk ensued, perhaps her father playing along with a silly grin on his face, whilst Lily went 'Gah, gah, gah!' with more enthusiasm then most people would of thought possible. Generally, Lily developed quickly, learning how to talk, walk and use that ever so efficient magical 'empties itself!' potty at a considerably early age. That little spark that she had, that twinkle in the eye and the constant childish adventures that she took part in constantly had people comparing her to her parents, the daughter that most people would expect of the deeply in love couple.

Childhood for Lily was equally as similar, full of memories that she would never forget. For instance, her climbing up onto the roof when she was nine, only to end up falling off and breaking quite a few bones. She decided to not try that ever again, though there were several more instances of Lily getting into trouble. Always playing, Lily was the little girl that would go out all day and return home half-covered in mud, after a few escapades with either one of her brothers or perhaps a cousin or two. Not a 'princess' sort of girl, at that age in her life she was considered mostly as a tomboy, her interests consisting of mucking about and tackling the significantly older and taller James. Soon, Lily was showing her first signs of magic. Whenever someone irritated or teased her that little too far, when Lily lost her temper objects began to fly across the room, or the doors began to shake. Her infamous temper tantrums were quite well-known through out the house, an her easily infuriated nature was quickly revealed to her family.

When it was suddenly time to go to Hogwarts, Lily wasn't so sure. Yes, Albus and James were there, but her parents, the two people that she was actually able to rely on wouldn't be. It was Lily's first step into independence, and maybe that's why she found herself maturing a little. Now, if she did stupid, daring acts, it was because she had to do them for an actual good reason, not because she simply felt like it. Now a lot more capable of not constantly having attention, Lily became a little tamer, which isn't to say that she isn't the same vivacious girl back then as she was now. Unlike most students, who once boarding the Hogwarts Express had to go through the struggle of introducing themselves and finding someone to sit with, for Lily she only had to simply find one of her many relatives. Naturally outgoing and social, she didn't have many problems making friends with people in her year, anyway, and had quite the reputation
