It is really hard to pin down Camille Sanguina and describe her, she is not so much multilayered as she has two faces. Almost like, two different personalities altogether and she can switch from one to the other at the drop of a hat. Don't be mistaken, its not that she is fake and has a public face and a private one, it is just that she is almost bipolar. One side of her is sweet, gentle, artistic, albeit a little odd. The other side is obsessive, homocidal, and dangerous.
Camille has a fascination with life even though she herself is no longer techincally living. Everything about it, the people, the colors, the music, the movement all of it captivates her. When she was human she was always creative and becoming a vampire just increased that tenfold. She has had centuries to perfect her arts and has become quite talented over the years. Camille can dance, sing, paint, sculpt. There is no medium that stumps her. Art is her one true love, she is absolutely enthralled with color and sound. It is almost as if she is in a world of her own when it comes to her art, it definately absorbes her.
She has a very gentle persona, the fact that she has such an innocent look about her tends to fool people first of all. Then there is also the fact that she is quiet most of the time. This doesn't mean that she is shy, it just means that she doesn't have to talk all the damn time like some people. Camille tends to be quiet, catlike, soft, even sweet sometimes. She certaintly has quite the smile when she actually uses it. People will often think that she is a very nice person. Her intelligence makes her witty and even charming. She can certaintly hold a logical conversation, she can even make friends. However, those friends are often put off by her sudden changes.
Ok she is actually a bit daft, definately flightly. Camille seems to walk in a world that entirely her own. Since odd things fascinate her people think she is strange because they will find her on her hands and knees in the middle of the grounds, staring at a blade of grass. Her brains have been quite addled, tragedy in her past have pushed her a bit past the brink of sanity. For the most part she isn't dangerous, just odd. Sneaking about, saying odd things at odd moments. However, she is also quite brilliant with a mind that people don't give her credit for. The fact that people underestimate her is probably what makes her the most dangerous. Her memory is also quite excellent, lending to her extraordinary talent in holding grudges.
She had very few attachments when she was a human and after loosing everything when she became a vampire, Camille developed a very obsessive personality. Once she decides that something is hers or that she wants something, she will pursue that without end. People, objects, ideas there is no limit to what Camille can devote herself to. She also happens to be extremely obsessive compulsive, constantly having to count and arrange things. This obsessive personality also extends to grudges which she can hold literally for centuries without relenting. This also lends to a huge desire for revenge when wronged or when she thinks she's wrong. Basically it is advisable not to get on her bad side.
Probably her worst trade is her extremely volatile temper, one that can send her into literally muderous rages. It actually can take quite a bit to seriously trip her temper, but once you do it is like being in the middle of a war path. Camille is someone who can become homocidal, she is not afraid to kill when she is in the middle of one of her temper tantrums. Because she is slightly unhinged, she can also be extremely twisted when it comes to her methods of killing. In the past she has been known to torture before issuing death. You can never tell what exactly will spark her anger so it is advisable to be careful around her.

9. brothel closes in 1930s when the great depression hits and everyone is too poor to afford a good time.
