- "Simone is my potions partner this year. I mean, she's more than just my partner. She's a friend. But a new friend. I really don't know her that well, I mean.. Gah. Okay. Can I start over? Simone is someone I really like. She's fun, even if she's a bit on the quiet side. We met in Potions, seeing that we were assigned to be partners. So, she keeps my attention in that class. Where I would otherwise be napping. I can't stand the class. It's so boring. But with her, I have something to focus on. Anyway, Mona's.. Well, she's pretty. She's one of the prettiest girls I've ever met. She's just got that red hair. And the bluest eyes ever.. It doesn't help that she's terrible at Potions, just like me. I don't think we ever get anything done. I wouldn't mind getting to know her better.. I mean, outside of class.. You know. Maybe not doing potions homework? I mean, only if she wants to.. I don't want her to think I'm some crazy stalker guy.. Cause I'm not. I'm just.. She's so nice. And so cute. God, I sound crazy, don't I?'
- "i met ethan in potions. well we were assigned to be partners, but we're both pretty hopeless in that class so it worked out for the better, actually. i mean i know how i can be around people i just meet -- shy, and a bit clumsy. so, throw in ethan, who is so cute it's eating me alive, and i'm like a walking incubus of the plague. i can't concentrate, i can't breathe, i can barely think -- don't even ask me to attempt to measure out ingredients for a potion. i know we slacked off a little, just talking. except i'm pretty sure i resembled something of a tomato or pomegranate the entire time. he was sort of chill, but actually seemed almost as bad as me. it was awkard.. but almost the good kind of akward. anyways, we've been hanging out a little more and i've actually grown to have something of a fancy on him. i can't decide if i want to tell landon, since i've liked him religiously for.. ever? but he is one of my best friends. like a brother -- an older brother. anyways, enough about landon. ethan's so sweet, and very.. cute. really relateable too. funny, as well.. if i haven't mentioned that. i really like him, and i'm hoping that by some miraculous .. whatever, i won't screw up whatever will happen between us. let's pray people, this could get messy. honest to merlin, it involves me, a cute, single, adorable guy, and love. well not.. love. i mean i don't.. well i could.. but it's.. um.. ok i fancy him, the end. let's take this one day at a time shall we? oh god i'm going to go prematurely grey, i know it. i'm stressing myself out for nothing. it's ridiculous. except you do have to take into consideration that i've never had a boyfriend before. nor a first kiss. nor anything like that. i have every reason to be a nervous wreck, so that's why i'm actually a bit surprised that i'm managing to stay slightly sane. yes, i'm sure you're thinking, "this is slightly sane?" but yeah. this is me not losing it. i really hope this works out. i really like him."
