Ivan stood outside the Slytherin common room after sleeping with one of the little ravenclaws that came wondering around the dungeons. Now Ivan wasn't some kind of sexual predator. He could be but when some beautiful little Ravenclaw crosses his path and smiles sweetly at the more experienced Slytherin Quidditch Captain. Why would he turn a blind eye? He stood there watching her walk away down the dark corridor. He was slightly sad to see her go. She was a lovely little chit in bed.
He smirked to himself as the past hour replayed in his mind. Of course it was easy to seduce the young girl. Not many seemed to resist his smoky green eyes and his alluring presence. He's suave and charming when need be. He could charm the pants off anyone. Even a certain Rosalie who also resides in the Ravenclaw house. Now that was someone who could keep his attention.
Boy, did he love her. Though that pesky Malcolm boy she always hung around. Now that was an annoying bloke. He was always playing that underdog role. The best friend who secretly lusts after his best friend. He could see right through the boy. He loved rubbing it in his face that he was the one that Rosalie chose. What fun that was.
Speak of the devil.
Here he comes passing his housemate. He called out to the girl and said," I'll see you after dinner love." she gave him a lustful look and agreed. He didn't care if he actually saw her after dinner. It was just another thing to rub in the boys face.

Malcolm had never been good at potions. He loathed the subject, but was determined to graduate with as many NEWTs as possible. After a few extra hours pouring over the text book with his head stuck in a cauldron, he was ready to get the hell out of the dungeons. They were dirty, dank and absolutely dismal. He supposed that they fit in well with his mood over the past year, but now, now that Rosalie was back, it was far too depressing to stay in for long.
Without his watch, Mal wasn't positive about the time. Based on the grumbling of his stomach alone, he knew it was getting late in the evening. Hopefully dinner wasn't through and he'd at least be able to get a bit in before heading back up to the common room. A broad grin spread across his face at the thought. He had an evening with very little homework, which meant lots of free time to spend with Rosalie. It seemed as though he couldn't get enough of her since she returned, almost as though he was trying to cram the lost year into every moment of the day. He knew after this year he wouldn't get to see her nearly as long, and it broke his heart to think that they would be parted once more. But he couldn't think of that, not yet. He still had the rest of the year to bask in her presence.
A girl he recognized passed him in the hall. Her eyes looked a little glazed and her cheeks were flushed pink as though she had been exercising. His brow furrowed slightly, until he spotted the boy waving goodbye to her. Mal was sure his temperature rose 50 degrees higher and he could feel the anger boiling inside of him. Ivan.
He wanted to shake the girl, scream at her to run away, but that would probably just terrify her. Mal had a bit of a reputation for being a nut, screaming at some poor girl probably would only make it worse.
Before he could even think about his actions, he charged the Slytherin and threw him forcefully into the cold stone wall. "You bastard," he growled, making it his only explanation for the attack.
