Title: to me, so jaded.
Description: DECLAN
olive leostat - September 4, 2007 05:49 AM (GMT)
sorry--
would it be possible to borrow
your text book for just a minute?
i don't have a partner today,
and i've left mine back in my dorm.
smart move, i know, but since
you seem to know what you're doing
and i'm completely lost, do you think
you could spare me from getting
a bad grade?
thank you.. in advance.

declan wood - September 5, 2007 04:38 AM (GMT)
olive,
Yes. I suppose I could.
That's not very ravenclaw of
you. Tsk tsk.
~d
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 04:45 AM (GMT)
d--
i never was a very good ravenclaw.
i always thought they'd put me in
hufflepuff, the way i forget things.
but i've got to have some smarts in
here somehwere, haven't i?
thanks by the way :]
real life saver.

declan wood - September 5, 2007 04:47 AM (GMT)
olive,
I guess so if you were
sorted there. No problem.
Glad I could be of assistance.
-d
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 05:01 AM (GMT)
like..ten minutes later
d--
sorry to bother you again,
but i'm a little confused.
do you understand the
third question in chapter 2?
--olive
ps. er, your tie's on backwards.
not that it isn't a bit charming,
but i'd hate for you to get a detention
or something.
declan wood - September 5, 2007 05:05 AM (GMT)
olive,
Yeah.. It's asking which
way you should stir the potion.
Since its an invisibility enhancer,
you have to stir it counter-clockwise
and then when it starts to bubble,
you start going clockwise until it
turns to a purpleish color.
Eh.. Call ma a maverick then.
-maverick
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 05:09 AM (GMT)
-looks up a moment after getting his note and tilts her head fighting a smile-
alright then, maverick--
oh, that makes sense.
thank you (again)
i promise i'll stop bothering you now.
so.. d and maverick.. hmm..
can i get a real name?
--olive
declan wood - September 5, 2007 05:17 AM (GMT)
olive,
No problem and it's okay.
I have nothing better to do.
I know this stuff already.
Maybe. Maybe not.
-maverick
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 05:24 AM (GMT)
maverick.. d.. i need something to work with--
i should know this stuff a bit better --
i've taken the class a few times before..
but that was a loong time ago.
are you on the gryffindor quidditch team?
i can't remember seeing you around but
i feel like i've met you before..
dunno if i could ever play quidditch --
i'm pretty much terrified of heights.
how can you stand it?
--olive
ps.- ooh, alright. mysterious... just a hint?
declan wood - September 5, 2007 05:28 AM (GMT)
olive,
Long time ago?
Yes I am. I'm usually
in the dorms so I'm
never out and about.
Guess I'm a bit of a loner.
It's in my genes. There's your
hint.
-maverick
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
maverick--
oh yeah.
i haven't been back to school in
a good 30 years now that i think about it.
my siblings used to go back after 10 years had passed
but school gets pretty boring repeating the same three years
over and over again. especially since 10 years goes by so fast, you know?
there's nothing wrong with being a loner.
i wish i spent more time with just myself.
you'd think i'd have some remote idea of who i am,
but i honestly come up blank everytime i think about it.
do you ever go to the library?
i must have gone a thousand times by now..
i don't think i'd ever be able to read everything in there.
in your genes.. quidditch..
well there's potter.. but i know the potter kids.
krum.. but you don't really look bulgarian :|
wood? oliver wood's son?
--olive
declan wood - September 5, 2007 05:42 AM (GMT)
olive,
Oh.. I get it now.
I'm the opposite. I wish I
spent more time with people.
I'm only living once. It's just
the way I am, I suppose.
Yes. On occasion. I'm sure
theres always something new
there.
I could be bulgarian... I'm
too lanky though. Yes. I'm a
Wood boy.
-maverick
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 05:50 AM (GMT)
mav--
i hope i don't scare you..
or something like that.
if you've really caught on.
i hate scaring people.
well.. if you wish you spent
more time with people, but
you think you're a loner --
maybe you're actually at
a good place in your life?
i mean you know yourself well
enough to choose (when the
time is right) friends that suit you.
i'll be around a little longer, so i guess
it doesn't matter much if i have
a lot of friends, or none at all.
after a few years have passed, you
can become anyone you want to.
i can't remember being human..
so i sort of miss out on emotions like that.
anyways.. i'm not really a 'person'
so to speak, but if you ever wanted
to talk or something.. i'll be around for
a little while.
no no! you could be bulgarian.
the green eyes and the lovely pale skin
are dead give aways, haha.
but that's very cool.
i still don't get a name?
--olive l.
declan wood - September 5, 2007 05:56 AM (GMT)
olive,
No. Don't worry about it.
I'm friends with the younger d'eath
boy and he's perfectly normal.
I guess so. You can have feelings.
Just because you'll live to see my
children die doesn't mean that
something or someone can tug
on your heartstrings. Maybe you
just don't let people in because of
what you are. Correct me if I'm
wrong.
I guess you will be around for a while.
I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.
I wouldn't want to form attachments
either. I would see them all die. That's
no fun.
True but I'm no Krum. They're strong
and bulky. Guess you don't know your
Wood boys do you? I guess I won't
keep you in suspense.
-declan or rather, decco
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 06:03 AM (GMT)
finally.. declan--
d'eath? ..fantastic.
no.. i think you're right.
it's easier to hope that
you don't form a strong attachment
to someone that you can't be with
forever.
it's never happened to me, but
i've known others that
had friendships with humans
that lasted until the day they died.
it must be a horrible feeling.
but i guess.. if you get to have them
for the entirety of their lives --
maybe it wasn't so bad.
actually, i don't think i've ever
actually met a wood boy before.
you're my first.
nice to meet you, declan.
and cool name by the way.
a little different.
i like it.
--olive
declan wood - September 5, 2007 06:08 AM (GMT)
olive,
Yeah, Stafford. Nice
guy really. Bit odd..
True, but knowing that
you've finally met that one
person you're supposed
to be with and either knowing
that you'll watch them die or
knowing that once you die,
they'll move onto the next
is too much for me to even
handle.
Nice to meet you too. Thanks.
Both my name and my middle
name are Irish and they have
unknown meanings. Guess I
was destined to be unknown.
Oh well.
-decco
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 06:18 AM (GMT)
mysterious decco--
ah, stafford. not as terrible
as the rest of his family can be.
ehh, vampires have nasty
'clique' issues.
in case i sounded rude
in regards to your friendship with a d'eath.
it's a loyalty thing.. stupid, and complicated.
but hey, that's life somtimes.
it would be horrible.
but maybe if you found that person,
even if you knew that someday you'd have to leave them,
if you found that person, and every
second you had with them was like..
oxygen. the most amazing thing that could have
ever touched your life -- something you need to live.
just knowing that.. just knowing that they were there,
and that you loved them and they loved
you in return?
that could get you through a few years.
or maybe you were destined to be
mysterious?
that would be better than unknown --
at least you'd know who you were.
mystery can be so many things.
it can be romantic,
or dangerous,
or exciting.
unknown just puts a damper on
everything, doesn't it?
you've got to be best mystery-kid yet, decco.
--olive
declan wood - September 5, 2007 06:25 AM (GMT)
complicated olive,
Well, I wouldn't know anything
about vampire cliques but I think
it's pretty rare to come across
a non cliche vampire like Stafford
or yourself.
True, true but still. I couldn't do
it. It must be something you have to
get used to.
I guess mysterious would be a
better word. It does once you
think about it but I just couldn't
find a more suitable word.
Well, thanks. I don't try. Heh.
-decco
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 06:34 AM (GMT)
deep decco--
oh yes, of course.
this vampire has some serious insight.
haha.
i can't decide if i could ever try it.
part of it would be amazing
while the other part could
figuratively kill you.
either way, i'm already dead.
of course you don't try.
you don't need to --
it's just natural.
you're just naturally mysterious.
probably why i'm bugging you, hah.
too intrigued for my own good.
-- one very horrible-at-potions olive
declan wood - September 5, 2007 06:38 AM (GMT)
not dead, olive,
Haha! I'm sure.
I wouldn't say you were.
I guess it just depends on
if you would want to
take that risk for the time being.
Well.. I guess it's good
that I can reach someone.
-oh so mysterious decco
olive leostat - September 5, 2007 01:24 PM (GMT)
dec--
ohh yes.
very sure, haha.
would you ever do it?
even if it hurt you --
but you were the happiest you'd ever be
for your entire life?
i'm probably not the only one you
can reach with your mysterious-loner-quidditch-playing-cool-ness.
but i'm probably the only one to
open up like this in a potions note, hah.
--twice as mysterious, and very deceased, olive leostat
declan wood - September 5, 2007 02:23 PM (GMT)
olive,
I guess I would.
Love is a powerful thing
that I haven't had the
pleasure, or misfortune,
of going through.
I guess so. Now why
would you open up to a boy
you've never met before?
-just decco
olive leostat - September 6, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
decco--
i think i'd do it too.
i'm pretty low on the
experiences scale.
well, you know.. romantically.
but something like that
seems like an experience i wouldn't want to miss.
i'm not too sure, actually.
i don't usually open up like that
to people i've never met before.
maybe you should be honored?
haha.
or maybe.. you'll be important in the future.
sometimes vampirism gives off some kinds of powers.
i've always had a thing where i get a feeling about
someone before i really know them well.
i can't explain it.. and i don't think i've ever told
anyone about it, either. a bit odd, but kind of cool in a way.
haha,
--olive
declan wood - September 6, 2007 03:45 PM (GMT)
olive,
As am I. I've only
had one girlfriend my
entire stay here. At least
it ended on good terms.
I didn't want to lose her
as a friend.
Well, I am honored. It is
a bit odd but I don't see
how I could be of any
major importance.
~just decco
olive leostat - September 6, 2007 10:53 PM (GMT)
just decco--
that's amazing -- that you could
keep on good terms even after breaking up.
it must be nice to know you still have a friend
even if you might not think of her the same way.
i've never had a boyfriend or anything like that,
so you've got me beat experience-wise.
well, i'm not entirely sure either.
we'll just have to wait it out.
though i do hope it's something positive.
i'd hate to think something bad could happen
to you (or myself) in the future.
alright -- while i'm distracting you from
your school work
(yes i know, bad bad olive)
do you have a favorite food?
or, what do you like to do?
--olive
