Music was something Audri had always loved. Yes, always. In her ninety years of life and...death? Anyways, she just had always loved it. She had gotten her first guitar at the age of fifteen, the same age she was when the boy had held the knife at her throat. She really didn't like thinking about that day. Sure, she was a witch and could have easily gotten the boy off of her, but she wasn't going to deal with the Ministry in court for using magic in front of a muggle boy. So, she just agreed with him to go. She shook her head. Wait, why was she thinking about this?! It had happened over seventy years ago and she was still thinking about it? She rolled her eyes at herself as she stood in her dormitory, combing through her hair with her only comb she had brought from home. It wasn't hard to comb through it, though. All she had to do was run the comb through her hair and it was fine. Honestly, she didn't know why she did it. Maybe because she loved the length and color of her hair? Yes, that was it. She loved how it fell straight down her back, no waves, creases, or curls. It was perfect to her, and that was why she messed with it so much.

A smile curved onto her face as she remembered how she looked before she was turned. Wow, she wasn't all that pretty at all, or she didn't think. Her hair was curly and only fell to her shoulders, her eyes a green color. Now, though, her hair was straight, no curls. Her eyes a blue until she got hungry, which turned them black. Her face was pale, not signs of any blemishes. She thought she was gorgeous, something that surprised her since, well, before she was turned, she thought she was the ugliest thing on earth. No one believed her when she said she was ugly before she was turned, but then again, no one had known her then, not even her vampire friends. The only ones who knew her were her siblings, well, some of them. Some of them were actually adopted. She didn't even belong to Armillo, but boy was she glad her mother left. She wouldn't have been what she was today had her mother taken her.

She stood gracefully, throwing on a pair of jeans, something she had to learn to wear. She had to pay close attention to the fashions that went on and what not just to make sure people wouldn't be able to tell just how old she was. To them, she was just a normal sixteen year old. The Leostat name wasn't a known name, so if she met someone, they weren't able to tell she was a vampire unless, well, they knew one of her siblings and knew that they, too, were vampires. After putting her jeans on, she pulled a t-shirt over her head. Nothing special, really. Normally she'd wear a skirt or dress, but today she just wanted to wear something that was comfortable for her. If someone had a problem with it, then too bad for them.

She grabbed her acoustic guitar from beside her bed, holding it in her hand as she made her way out of the dormitory and common room. It was dark outside, but she loved it. She didn't need to sleep, therefore, she was up all hours of the night, along with the day. Who needed to sleep when they were dead? So, she made her way quickly, but gracefully down to the lake. Most times she would have gone to the Quidditch Pitch to fly around, but today she just felt like being alone; Her and her music. Before she knew it, she was at the great oak doors. It didn't take anything to open them, her being stronger than most of the men in Hogwarts. When she stepped out, she didn't even realize how cold it was outside, seeing as how she couldn't sense temperature. When she finally got to the lake, she sat against a tree, seeing a small squirrel. She shrugged it off, already feeling bad for attacking Jacob's squirrel. She wasn't hungry anyways, so she saw no reason to attack it and end its life. No, she only ate when she was hungry, not for the joy of killing. She strummed on her guitar, hearing footsteps. She stopped, setting it to her side, looking around to see who it was before calling out, "Who's there?" No, she wasn't afraid, she was just making sure it wasn't someone she hated. She crossed her arms over her chest and shrugged, telling herself, "Probably just another squirrel or something." She looked out over the lake, the moon making it look beautiful. She leaned back and closed her eyes, at ease, not even knowing someone was there with her.

    ooc: ew. sorry!

James faced many exhaustions in his daily life. The frustration of being surrounded by humans constantly. The frustration of being part of a family who did not want him. The frustration of knowing people thought he was a bloodthirsty monster. And then.. the frustration of knowing that the one person he would share his life with was dating an impossible human. It was safe to say that James heavily resisted sneaking into the window of said human and.. well.. heh. He cleared the thought from his mind, reasurring himself that he would never do such a thing to an innocent person.

Tonight, he had been hunting for a little while, getting rid of any bloodlust that had been eating at him for the week. His eyes were a soft, light topaz color, complimenting his strong bone structure and pale lovely skin. James tousled his own hair, deep in thought as he made his way across the grounds towards the lake. It was a beautiful sight at night, and he had always appreciated the way the moon reflected across the surface. Such a sight usually provoked many thoughts. These thoughts usually starred his life troubles, or perhaps Audriana Leostat - the object of his affection.

Yes, Audri was someone that James was drawn to. He had a talent for knowing what would happen to himself. Fuzzy knowings, you could say. He could always seem to predict when something or someone would become important to him, but he could never be sure just who or when that would be. With Audriana, he knew it was her, and he knew it would be soon that they would come together. She was far too important to him for him to just let her go. In the meantime, he would sit back and watch her date humans. Watch her deal with her brother's interest in a human girl, Isabella Hopkins, and try to help her the best he could.

So tonight, as he walked, James was expecting to surround himself in his thoughts, wondering what Audri was up to.. wondering what his siblings were up to. He sighed, but strained his ears as he heard the soft strum of a guitar. Unmistakeably accoustic. And unmistakeably beautiful all the same, even for it's simplicity. His pace quickened, and then he saw her. Audri. Pale as the moon above her, shining like a diamond in the darkness. A smile broadened over his face, as he sped up, quickly but quietly, attempting to surprise her harmlessly.

"Who's there?" No, she wasn't afraid, she was just making sure it wasn't someone she hated. She crossed her arms over her chest and shrugged, telling herself, "Probably just another squirrel or something."

He cleared his throat and ran to her, sitting down before her in the blink of an eye. "Little big for a squirrel aren't I?" He chuckled, his eyes shining with a joke.
