history; "Few of my true friends understand how my arrangement with Nott works, since as far as they're concerned, us engaged couples should have clear rules about what we're allowed to do before we get married and what's strictly off limits. As a result, it sometimes amazes them to see that me and my future spouse do sleep with other people too, even if we're still very much together and starting to plan the details of our wedding. Out of all my peers, though, I think that Ivan understands how the cookie crumbles the best, or else he wouldn't have been one of the Slytherin boys I've slept with thus far. I must admit that, if my parents hadn't already betrothed me to Nott, the oldest Dolohov would have been a fine match too. After all, we're both twisted individuals, heirs to our families' fortunes and willing to get down and dirty if need be. The rougher, the better, and I think we both enjoy applying that policy both in bed and outside of it, as far as torture methods go. That doesn't mean that he doesn't occasionally irk me, since his own manipulative skills, alongside his desire to lead people rival my own. From my experience, trying to outsmart a queen even in Potions is not good. At the end of the day, though, our mutual love for Quidditch, perfectionist streaks and egos will enable us to have each other's back whenever the situation calls for it. It's such a shame that he kicks me in his sleep, during the nights we rarely spend together. Really now, that's such an impolite thing to do, especially after a heated fling. But does he care? I doubt it. Do I care if Nott or anyone else knows about our own little arrangement? Merlin, no! It just makes things much more thrilling."

- "UGH! I can not stand Ivan! One minute he's calling me his love, the next he's being rude to me, putting me down! I just can't read him. Normally I'm good at reading humans, but not him! Ivan is a right pain in the ass. You know those times where you feel you could just throttle your siblings until they go limp and you can laugh at them for it? Yeah, I've had loads of moments like that with him. We may look alike, and think about the Superiority the same way, but we are most definitely different. I suppose that isn't really horrible. You see, he still is my twin, and by Merlin, I don't know what I'd do without him. Since we were little he's been both my best friend and greatest frustration. He always turns out to be just a little better, a little smarter, a little bloody older... It's frustrating. Sometimes I wish I'd been the oldest one. Or that I never had a twin to begin with. But that's said in extreme annoyance. I bet he's thought about that too, but it's just... Looking in the mirror, I see him. And it's disgusting. But still. At the end of the day, we're still as close as you could expect any twin to be...

If he hadn't have shown me how to carvge the skin off of animals when I was five years old I don't think I would be the way I am. But I enjoyed every minute of it. We used to spend hours at a time thinking of these sick methods then we'd ask our dads which one was the worse, and then we did it. Whether it was on a neighbourhood kid or a stray dog. We tried out our method. Ivan doesn't know it but I kept a journal of all our methods. For future reference when we needed a good idea. Maybe I'll put it out during a future meeting."
