"I’ve known Esmée Zabini for as long as I can remember, the Zabini family was one of the first that I was formally introduced to at the tender age of one and a half, not that I remember it but trust me that meeting did happen. To be completely honest I never really got to know Esmée until a few years ago, while I was growing up I was perfectly content to follow Scorpius around (on the rare occasion that he wasn’t with father) and when I wasn’t following him around I was following Cassie. I’ve known she was going to be apart of my family, well more so than she already is (our mum’s are distantly related) a few years back, it was announced that she would be marrying my older brother. Lucky girl, not just anyone is good enough to be in the Malfoy family, whether by blood or marriage. I wasn’t planning on making a conscience effort to get to know her until the wedding, we just seemed too different for me to mess it all up now. She likes books, I like boys, she prefers to keep her looks under wraps, I like to flaunt mine - you get the picture. But, as most plans do, mine failed. Some little Hufflepuff twit decided to test fate and get on both mine and Esmée’s bad sides, and we ended up telling her off at the same time. After that little incident I ended up talking to her and she really isn’t half bad, once you get past the fact that she likes spending more time with books than people. In fact we’ve actually become pretty decent friends over the last year, but honestly Esmée is a little too stuck up for my taste. I honestly can’t see our friendship progressing past what it already is, she’s needs to lighten up, throw the book in the fire and live a little. Everyone needs to go wild at least once in their life and I would prefer if Esmée got it over with before she married my brother.”

While some like her have embraced their destiny, I know that I have to marry Nott to please our families and continue the pure lineage, yet that doesn't mean that I'll settle to just birthing his offsprings and remain oblivious to his affairs. Oh, no, I'm the queen of all Slytherin house, and I demand respect at least for that and for how truly cunning I can be. Those are only some of the reasons why me and Esmée are just average friends and will probably remain that way until later on. Even if we both like Quidditch a lot and would love playing on the team, a fact which would normally only make me praise her, something about her just irks me. Perhaps it's her cold attitude, which resembles mine too much, or the fact that she would normally be a fine rival to the house title I possess. However, no matter how much I might come to respect her for those personality traits, Miss Zabini is nowhere near as good in my books as her brother is, and I didn't need her to get close to him, if you know what I mean. I think that such a thing will either attract Esmée's attention or make her label Rox for being manipulative and carefree enough to flirt even with her closer male friends. I'm not sure how far you'd be willing to take things, but I for one don't see them becoming bitter rivals, more like respectable ones. They probably just keep appearances instead of actually liking each other.[/size]

Mmk, I like the idea of them being like respectable rivals, but I think if Roxy gets 'close' to her brother, she won't appreciate her very much. Depending on whatever Scorpius's and Esmee's relationship is going to be like (like if they're going along with the flow, but hate each other or whatever else), she might get jealous and put Rox on her black list, but act completely civil and fake towards her. Muahaha. Erm, sorry. But chyea.
