Title: PLOT.

“What do you think?” said the cloaked figure, speaking to the shorter, albeit nearly as intimidating man standing across from him. It was dark outside, the July breeze was filtering through the trees, making rustling noises. This would be it. The thing that would solidify them as dark wizards. It was bloody brilliant, actually. They had wanted this for so long, for so, unbelievably long that it was starting to sink in that this was it. This was the first plan he actually believed would work. And they would be famous as fuck from it. Maybe one day more famous than the Dark Lord himself had been. More famous than their father’s had been.

“I think the plan is brilliant, Malfoy,” said the shorter of the two. They would be known and feared all throughout the wizarding world for this brilliant plan. He looked over the photographs spread out on the table. They were the chosen. They would be the ones to help them carry out this plan, though they were certainly not willing participants. They would be just the start of this revolution. And it wasn’t just the two of them that would be carrying out this plan. No, Malfoy and Avery weren’t alone in this conquest. They were the new dark revolution, if you will. Morte Incarnate. The Darkest Wizards of the day, though they were not known yet, by anyone other than themselves. But they would soon enough make themselves known. This wasn’t about ideals. No, this was about fame, nothing more, nothing less…at least that was how it started.

Greed. That was it became about. They could earn a lot of money, a lot of fame, and a lot of power from this little venture of theirs. The two men discussed over a blunt and a fire whiskey and laughed light-heartedly about what they were going to accomplish with all of this. They walked out of the Hogs Head that night with a renewed sense of self, and the perfect plan. Those who would help them to achieve fame were chosen, and soon enough, the Morte Incarnate would start their plan. Those chosen would soon enough become the project. They were all young, still in school most of them, and they would be aided in this by those members of the Morte Incarnate who were still in school as well. Hogwarts, my friends, has been infiltrated.

The papers several weeks later were telling as to what the Morte Incarnate were doing, though still no one knew who was behind it.

THREE HOGWARTS STUDENTS GONE MISSING.
SEARCH HAS BECOME VITAL.

It was not a vital search just because the Hogwarts students had been taken from their dorms in the middle of the night or from the hallways after dinner, or class, or Quidditch practice. The truth was, these students were all very well-known names from well-known families. The Potter's only daughter, the Minister, Kingsley Shaklebolt’s son, and two Weasley cousins were just the start. More and more kidnappings are being committed right under the Headmistress’ nose. And what’s more, it’s quite obvious that no Slytherins have been taken. Of course, there is nothing to prove that the Slytherins in the Morte Incarnate are the ones that are committing the crimes. Not to mention, the Incarnate hasn’t made themselves known yet. The more people kidnapped, the more the youth of Hogwarts begins to band together. They have to do something to stop this, right?

Despite the fact that the Slytherins couldn’t be proven as guilty, the other students at Hogwarts know that something is up, and they’re willing to risk it all to prove it. That’s how more underground societies gather, and begin to band together to prove that the Morte Incarnate (who are still under wraps, for now at least) are behind this, and they’ll do anything to get their friends back.

And while the students of Hogwarts are beginning to band together to solve the mystery of all the crimes, and while the Ministry is doing its damnedest to find the missing teens, the Morte Incarnate is having their own fun; with the students they’ve kidnapped thus far. The torture is nearly unbearable. The Morte are possibly worse than the Death Eaters were, because they don’t just like to cause pain. Oh no, they like to see the pain. The screaming and writhing isn’t enough for these freaks. For so long, the plot was about getting famous, but now…it was more than just making money off of the students’ pain by subjecting them to ‘torture sessions’ and ‘torture shows’ in which they would be put through it all for the enjoyment of those who paid to torture or view the torture. No, these people want blood. They wanted to see blood in every sick and twisted way possible.

Those who were held hostage by the Incarnate, they have lost all conscious hope of being rescued, at least for the most part. They’re resolved to the fact that they are going to die. And they’ve gotten to the point where they pray for their death to come soon. The Cruciatus curse isn’t all they use anymore for pain. And those held hostage…their going through hell for the sick enjoyment of the clients.

“Its time for us to make our names renowned and feared, Avery,” the eldest Malfoy brother said casually. There was a tone of icy excitement in his voice as he spoke to his colleague and friend.

And that was when they decided to make themselves known. Not the actual members of the group, because that would be pure stupidity on their part. But when they sent the body of Kingsley Shaklebolt’s eldest and only son to the Ministry of Magic, beaten and bruised, branded with an MI on his chest, it was the first major clue they’d gotten. There was a note attached to his body, pinned to the brand on his chest.

Should the rest be living?
The dead call for them
The living search for them
Should the rest be living?
Only time will tell.

- Morte Incarnate

The Ministry only heightened its search after the Minister’s son was found dead in their own hallowed halls. The Auror Department was working off the clock to find the missing teens, their friends, though they were working hard trying to find out where they had been taken, had to continue on life as usual. Relationships were formed, relationships died. Drama ensued as normal, classes went on as normal. Though there was still the threat of more kidnappings, and the worry for their classmates and friends, Hogwarts was undeniably normal.
