The Basics
    Name: Greer Maddox
    Nicknames (Alias/AKAs): none
    Age: 27
    Gender: male
Family: Greer was an only child and has no contact with his surviving parent, his mother.

Kind: Mendecant/ MSI Personnel, DreamWalker, Human, Unique / Good, Bad, Neutral? Human/Good
Appearance
    Face Claim: Ewan McGregor
Description:Everything seems almost boringly average about Greer on first appearance. He's five foot ten, of a medium build. His hair isn't quite red or blonde or brown but a muddy mix of red with gold streaks and brown undertones. His green eyes aren't particularly remarkable, he has no tattoos or noticable scars. But on closer inspection, he has eyelashes that are a little longer and thicker than other men's. He has very white and straight teeth that he almost always exposes when he smiles- however seldom that happens.
Personality
Likes: A good book, time for reflection, blending into a crowd, feeling he has done something for the greater good, watching the expression of someone he has secretly helped/
Dislikes: people being bullied, being put on the spot, public speaking
Personality: Greer is quiet and highly observative. he doesn't mind remaining silent for hours at a time and actually feels comfortable that way. He gets nervous if he has to speak in front of people or if he finds himself the center of attention.
Because of his observation skills, he usually knows what other people are thinking even before they do and delights in quietly doing things for them, so long as they never know who did it. He is happier being unappreciated for his kindness than having to be put on the spot about it.
Greer loves visiting old bookstores and reading, drinking in other worlds and getting lost in the magical quietness of a library.
He treats others with kindness, even when they don't deserve it, which has made him a target for all kinds of trouble at times, but he plows ahead anyway, with his own odd sense of goodness and rightness and justice, leading his way.
Extras
History: Greer met Raelin when Keelin brought him home. His quiet passion for Keelin was destroyed by her refusal to return his feelings, and so he fell in step- but not love- with Raelin for a while. Greer's need not only to have Raelin forgive him for this, but also his need for self forgiveness, led him to find her at MSI. Greer has always sought to do good for others, to do his part in making things better, even if it's small. When Raelin offered him a job at the Kiplinger library, he jumped at the chance and whole-heartedly accepted. He works there now, using his own skills and knowledge along with his lightning fast learning ability, to be an important part of the greater machine-- the goodness that MSI is trying to do for the changed world.

    Sample Post:
What was that Greer's mother used to say to him? Oh, it should have been pretty much branded on his brain, because she said it like a mantra, a litany, not 'I love you' or 'You're such a good boy' or even one of those typical mother-son things like 'you really need to clean your room.' No, his room had always been plenty clean and tidy, no sticks and stones, no broken bones or dead birds or butterflies pinned to the wall. His room had been lined in neatly arranged books. He'd been reading Shakespeare when his peers were reading 'proper' books for twelve year olds. He'd been reading while the others dreamed of sailing or flying or exploring or getting with girls.

That mantra- "You might as well be a mute. The only time anything intelligent comes out of your mouth is when you're quoting a book!"

Yes, that was the mantra, and just a sigh or a tickling of his memory and it came back. Even the tone of her voice, since it varied little. Maybe he was so 'boring' because his family was boring, or maybe he was only boring to people with both feet planted firmly in the concrete world, but what did it matter? He was still accused of the same things- being too quiet, too much of a nerd and just too darn boring.

Greer closed the book he'd been looking at and looked across the library at the patrons. Quiet or not, he could find it in himself to go and speak to them, and no, he wouldn't have to quote a book.

But how easy would that be? I know enough books. I could spend the rest of the conversations of my life, quoting someone else...

He squinted at one of the women in the library, for a second thinking it was Keelin... but no, gone in a rush, that one was, just another woman, just a stranger, not Keelin.

First secret line? Lying next to you, in silent lucidity
And the last rule?master of illusion, can you realize

ACCEPTED

Nicely done, and good job on capturing Greer from what little is told about him. While he isn't a huge part of the master plan, he is a resourcer in his own right, and though he doesn't work for MSI, I'm sure he will be known by them, if only because of his connection with Raelin. Anyways, accepted and thanks!
