.::.Antony has been surrounded by the workings of MSI since he was just a boy. His father and his father before him were all Mendecant Superiors. While other children went against the ties of the family business, Antony embraced them, drawn into the darkness and intrigue of the unknown. He desired to not only protect people from the unexplainable, but to save as many as he could. He was born in England, and still resides there, though it is no longer known as such, but rather, Nebula. The other continents have fallen away, swallowed by carnage and the sea, leaving only Nebula, the combination of tectonic plates and inventive gestures. There are still city streets and skyscrapers, the land amassed into once continent again, but it is darker, more deadly, and the demons are unleashed from their fourth dimension. He always knew it would come to this, but he fears that he may not see it through, to the End of Days, to the Coming of the Light. Unbeknownst to her, Antony is training Raelin to become his successor, someday, when his hold on the power has weakened. But there is a twist of magnificient proportions that will make this task far more trying that he can imagine. He is a man of stature and poise, but he is also a man of purpose and sincerity. His compassion can be sparked by the right set of eyes, namely those of Raelin or Danae, his prized agent and ever faithful resourcer. He regards Marcus and Drake with the utmost respect, as long as they remember that he is always the leader of the pack. .::.

.::.Raelin is tough as nails and twice as dangerous. She had to take care of herself from a very young age, and also raised her younger sister, Keelin, who despite all attempts is destined to grow into an ingrateful brat, and someday, the enemy of all that Raelin fights for. When she was just a child, the ageless Drake came to her in a dream, through her mind, and has been by her side since then, even when she was forced to turn him away for her own safety. That was years ago, during her first days at MSI, but now, the Dreamwalkers and the Mendecants are allies...but just the same, they haven't found a way to be together yet. .::.

.::.Marcus is the occasional comic relief and voice of reason for his very severe partner, Raelin Lorcan. He is light, with a witty, yet sarcastic humor, but at the same time, his vampiric nature gives him the dark element of seduction along with the grace and natural eloquence of his kind. He originally comes from England, but made the voyage across seas and was soon lost withing the ranks of his sharecropper family. He escaped and ran free, fleeing to Louisiana where he was attacked by a vampire in the night and turned, roughly around 1701, and he was a young 25 at the time. He roamed for years, fighting the evildoers of the world and destroying them, with names such as Silent Death, they had called him. The Executioner, Monsieur Tragedy. And his favorite, Silent Knight. His real name had been concealed, until a fated day when a seemingly normal man brought him down and gave him an ultimatum. The man was Antoine Piers, and the choice was join his league or die at sunrise. Marcus chose life and joined MSI. For years, he worked alone, until one day, a dark-haired girl who had been only the secretary up until then was presented to him by the successor of his captor and recruiter, Antony Piers. The girl was Raelin, and became his first and last partner. He loved her, protected her, and even confided in her when the young resourcer, Danae Walker, caught his eye. He will remain forever loyal to MSI, and to Raelin, even pushing her to live out her destiny, to call upon Drake Morpheus again. .::.

.::.Danae was quiet literally born in MSI. Her mother, in her prime, was the top field agent for MSI and her father served as her mother's backup resourcer. They traveled their missions together, but while Margaret was pregnant, she was confined to MSI Headquarters. One night, late into the case, she screamed for Alexander, and a child was born. Growing up around the demons and ghosts and stories never frightened Danae, but intrigued her. She was always seen in the enormous library, her legs dangling from a chair with a book in her lap. And more often than not, Antony could be seen kneeling by her, pointing out this and that with the precision of a professor. One morning, Danae was awoken by the Mendecant Superior and was told, in a grave voice, that she was his charge now. The little girl never cried, but merely nodded and accepted it, putting her arms around Antony's neck with a sigh. Somehow, despite her young age, she knew the day would come. She grew strong under his watch, but never violent or angry. She sought to learn and teach and become what her father had been, what she knew she could be. At the age of 23, she is the most called upon member of MSI, to solve a puzzle, a riddle, or to give information regarding a case...And she is also the distraction that can often render Marcus Trellan speechless from time to time. What he doesn't know is that she feels the same, a human Mendecant falling for a Mendecant Vampire...What will fate decide? .::.

MARTIN COOK

.::.Martin came from a family of stock brokers and lawyers, and was always expected to become one of them, and at the very least, an officer of the law. He grew up in training for those jobs, but as he attended a secondary school that could hardly be called college, he stumbled upon an idealistic young man who lived with the devil at his back. Antony and Martin became the best of friends, though competitive and often rough to get what they wanted. When Antony began working for MSI, he saw Martin's desire to be something more and offered him a job. Once Antony became successor, Martin seemed to lose interest, knowing he would never reach that status and that the competition was void once again. Antony always won. He settled into his position all too comfortably, loosing the passion for the job he once loved like no other. Now, he sits behind his desk and barks orders at the rookies, knowing that someday, his calling will come and he'll rise up again, hoping to shadow that disappointment he sees in the eyes of his best friend, Mendecant Superior Antony Piers. Until then, he'll be unbearable to all those that look his way and let his own demons rest for another day. .::.

.::.Jason was another case of an abandoned child, quite common in Nebula due to the poverty that plagued most areas. Unlike most cases, Jason was given a break and adopted by a caring family that consisted of a doctor and his wife. They adored him, because they could not have their own children, and gave him all the best. Most of all, Jason was loved, and it shows in his desire to excel, and to be welcomed. He needs no handouts and desires no assistance, but just the same, he will take a smile for his hardwark accomplished. Excelling in school, Jason attended college, only to realize that he wanted something different, something more. He turned his sights toward Law Enforcement, but even then, something seemed to be missing. The thrill. One night, he chased down a man that none of the others cold catch, gunning him down in the heat of the moment. It was later discovered that this man was no man, but a vampire, and that headline struck the attention of Mendecant Superior. Seeing potential in Jason, Antony recruited him to become a field investigator and to train with the others in the program at MSI. Jason, loving the chase as much as the history, was often found in the library when not on the training grounds. The supernatural thrilled him, providing an adrenaline rush, and that is what sold him into the ranks of MSI. Late one night, as he sits in the library reading, a young woman enters and immediately, he recognizes her from his brief days at the University. The quiet, noble, yet elusive Danae Walker. Beautiful, with no idea, he thought. That night sparked a conversation, then a kiss, and a brief romance. They remain the best of friends, and from time to time, fall into their old habits...Jason works hard to become the best, and he knows that the only way to accomplish that is without any ties. DREAMWALKERS UNITED

He was the second son, created in a grand and secretive ritual by the first DreamWalker, Morpheo. Drake, unlike Morpheo, kept his conscience and his morality, knowing the difference between right and wrong and holding true to himself above all else. It happened that though he sought only to grant those wishes and desires that caused a change of good, he sometimes could not forsee the consequences and was forced to live with whatever fate his granting of wishes caused. Because of this, he was often viewed as an enemy of MSI and reguarded as dangerous and volatile. But there was one that could not see him as so...Raelin Lorcan, the young woman with the dark eyes that captured his heart so many nights ago when she was just a girl. He had felt her wishes to be free, and he had tried to grant them, but even then, she had proved too strong. As she grew into a young woman, he showed himself to her, no longer just the voice in her mind....A love blossomed, but soon faded as she became a part of the very society that wished for him to be banished from the World. It was her duty to see him saved and so she cast him from her life, only to meet up again. Now, with the Alliance firmly in place, Raelin and Drake still cannot have their chance, now a conflict of interest keeping them apart. Drake loves her still, but knows that the union shall always be forbidden, if only because of their own free wills.He finds solace and another sort of love with the Avatar, Alika Moreaux as he works to restore the balance of good and evil, and train the up and coming DreamWalkers that dotted the world after him, acting as the sole leader of DreamWalkers United, DWU..

WESLEY BRECKENRIDGE

Wesley Breckenridge was a hopeless case, stricken with disease and depression when Drake stumbled upon him in the backalleys of Nebula one cold winters night. When Wesley heard the steady thud of footsteps nearing the corner where he crouched, he had prayed that it would be one of the killers that ran amuck, that he would be relieved from his ever present misery, but as the figure kneeled down before him and Wesley looked up into the electric blue eyes, he saw no devil in human form, but the closest thing to an angel that the likes of him had ever seen. Drake, in a voice Wesley would never forget, demanded that the young man rise, watching as he stood on shaky legs, Wesley's body weak from the disease raging within him. Taking his arm, Wesley remembered being dragged away by the man, seeming ageless and timeless, the dark knight holding his arm in a steely grip. He was pushed into a room, the warmth causing his body to shudder. The night, he could not remember, but the next day, he was healed. Having seen the goodness in his heart, despite the state of his life, Drake had taken pity on him and turned him into a DreamWalker, healing his ailments in the process. Wesley resides with Drake now, and feels that he owes him a great debt. With every wish he grants, he prays that Drake will not be disappointed in the decision he made...And Wesley is one of the few who knows the compassion of the stoic and stern Head DreamWalker.

OLIVIA JENUIT

Olivia was a high priestess in a temple, clad in the robe of days gone by, her blonde curly hair flowing down her back. As she prayed at the altar, a man came in, with the soul of the ages that she could not ignore. When his presence filled the room, she lifted her eyes to the heavens for guidance, and slowly turned. Morpheo was struck, his inner passion awakened at the sight of the vision of purity before him. Forbidden as it was, he went to her, he touched her, he claimed her, and she was cast from the temple of worship for the desecration she partook in. To atone for his sins, and to allow her to be forgiven for hers, Morpheo turned her, making her a DreamWalker, and intent on keepig her as his own. As time droned on and he lost his purpose, his eyes darkening before her with the power, she knew that the man that had once guided him was dead, and only the immortal being remained. She stole away into the night and hid away until the day she heard of Morpheo's fate. Slowly, she emerged, blending into society, and in the Victorian Era, she was discovered by a young man with striking blue eyes...She felt the presence and knew immediately that they were kindred souls, but he held far more power than she. He told her of his purpose, of his mission, and she joined his side, as simply as that. Olivia is now a counselor for the young DreamWalkers, offering an old world insight that still holds true.

ELLIOT MASTERS

Elliiot Masters was the bastard son of a long forgotten King, and it shows in his every movement and word spoken. He feels as though he belongs in neither normal society nor the uplifted hierarchy, and yet, within the walls of DWU, he feels at home.

Elliot was created shortly after Draco and before Olivia, making him the supposed middle child, had they all roamed the world together. Drake stumbled upon Elliot in Africa, where the young DreamWalker then acted as a sage for the Queen of Egypt, using his clairvoyent abilities to allow her to gain the upperhand. More analytically minded, Elliot was honestly a poor choice for a DreamWalker, since he prefers logic and reason to fate and destiny. In that, he functions as an assistant for Drake within the world of DWU, but rarely acts on the wishes that rush into his mind, instead handing them over to Olivia and Drake for their decision on the matter.

He does not train the other DreamWalkers that are discovered in the ways of their kind, but moreso in the reading of humans, the logic and reason of their goal. Drake values his unique view, and holds Elliot in high regard as his second in command when all others flee.

BRYAR ELLISON

Born just as the declination of the world began and Nebula was formed, Bryar knows little of the world of the past, and only of the Temple in which she was raised. Orphaned at birth, she was brought up in the Temple of Cassiel, an ancient being of ambivalence and a rumored fallen angel, little is known of him, but just the same, his followers are known as the most dedicated of warriors.Though she was one of the few females on the grounds, they treated her as an equal, teaching her the skill of archery, of hand to hand combat, and the art of dagger combat as well. Bryar learned exceptional discipline from them. The obscure religion that she found herself in was not one that she accepted, but more that she tolerated, as the world around her abandoned diversity in beliefs and merely functioned on chance and circumstance.
As the quakes began, Bryar began to go inland with the other, later discovering that the Temple had been on the land that had fallen into the depths of the sea. She had roamed for quite some time, caught by Olivia as she sat by a fountain that no longer trickled water, and her thoughts raced. Seeing the purity within this young woman, Olivia sent for Drake, who, upon seeing the countenance, and looking within her heart, knew that she would be an asset to their cause. He approached her, and an understanding shone in her eyes. Another savior was what he was to her, and though it has only been afew years since her transformation, Erica is proving to be a powerful DreamWalker, and catching the eye of a certain Avatar of the Earth.

MERCY WINTERS

Before she was born, her parents were top agents at MSI, but a falling out impending the introduction of a new Mendecant Superior turned their backs. They saw no reason for the lineage to continue, wishing for a change, and when their opinions did not become reality, they left the organization, and for the rest of their lives, they regretted their immature decision...As their daughter, was born, they named her Mercy, because it was the grace they needed for their horrible treachery to the one place that had accepted them and given them the lives they had now. Without MSI, they would have fell to ruin, but Antony's father had brought them in, unbeknownst to them at his son's suggestion. The very person they did not wish to work under was the one who brought them into the organization. After they left, Mercy came into the world, and was raised in the life of a normal child, until she learned of her parent's past. Always in the back of her mind, she fought the spirits of the world that caused harm, and though her parents disowned her for it, she would not turn her back on the battle for light.
Mercy is a dedicated young woman, never yielding when she knows her way is the right path to take. She is admired by her parents, and has an insight about her, seeing Keelin's darkness from just one chance meeting. Because of her parent's actions, she hides herself from MSI, knowing of the ways of the Mendecants, and wishes never to be brought to their ranks, knowing the hell and turmoil she would face, being the offspring of traitors. So, she roams the streets at night, using methods of her own device to destroy the elements of evil. Each time the Mendecants close in on one of her hunts, she steps aside and watches from afar, secretly longing to join their ranks someday.

BLAINE CAVAN

When he was younger, Blaine came from the same derelict neighborhood in which Raelin and Keelin were born, but the bright lights of the city called to him and he craved a spot in the limelight...His past prevented his progression, and so one night, he called out to the DreamWalker, pleading with the forces, that someone would wipe out the memory of his past from the minds of those around him. Drake answered the call and granted his wish, another unforeseen consequence rising. While he was able to wipe the mind of those who held any shred of Blaine Cavan's childhood, there was one that resisted because of the darkness within her. Despite his efforts, Keelin remained privy to the dark secrets of Blaine Cavan's life, even when he forced himself to forget it all. As the deed haunted him, Blaine went to MSI for help, hearing about them from a voice on the wind, one that sought to bring the DreamWalker down. Alroth, in his ethereal form, sent Blaine to begin his downward spiral. As he approached MSI, Raelin was assigned to his cast. At first, he had said he signed a deal with the Devil, but as the truth emerged, Raelin saw that it was none other than the love she had left behind all those years ago. Dreamwalker: Case Reopened. Because of her involvement and the true nature of the case, Raelin told Blaine only what he needed to know, and the vague answers of never knowing the truth, combined with his own conscience drove the young man to Madness. He checked into a facility, known as Ventura Boulevard Asylum, and remained there until his state was supposedly reversed. Feigning sanity, he emerged with one intent- to punish those that drove him to this brink of madness. His dark thoughts were caught by the Demon Alroth once again, and his voice whisperd once again in Blaine's ear, easily manipulating the weak mind. Now a pawn in the Prophecy, he will be fooled time and time again.

Greer first came to know the Lorcan sisters when he met Keelin at a bus stop and was quite down on his luck. Day in and day out, he would walk her from the bus to her apartment that she shared with Raelin, and one day, it was discovered that he had nowhere to stay. In the time before Keelin's heart hardened, she offered him a place to stay, without the agreement of Raelin. Never one to turn another out, Raelin reluctantly agreed and Greer settled in with them. He had always been smitten with Keelin, but knew she was far out of his reach. At the time, she was more focused on a certain Blaine Cavan, in spite of his insanity, and so Greer accepted the fate and struck up a brief affair with Raelin. It was forced, and merely convenient, but as she revealed her true occupation, he too left her behind. After a brief romance with Keelin following that event, he came back to find Raelin at MSI, to reconcile their difference. Too kindhearted for his own good, he asked for forgiveness for his ways, and of course, she gave that to him. Now, Greer works at the Kiplinger Library in Nebula as the head Librarian, a bit of a nerd and completely in touch with the new technology of the ever-deteriorating world.

Jake always knew that he was destined to find his one great love later in life. But he never thought he’d find it in the form of the brooding, hostile, bitchy Raelin Lorcan. When he’s first hired as her bedmate the “no sex” policy she instills is enough to make him want to scream, especially when she snaps at him nastily then expects to cuddle up to him at night. Somehow, his years of experience and intuition begin to alert him to small changes in her mood and as he begins to pay more attention these nagging feelings his relationship with Raelin greatly improves. As he and Raelin spend more and more time together he discovers that his feelings for the intimidating investigator are growing beyond that of their contracted relationship and Raelin finds out that her heart isn’t a pile of ash as she thought it was.

Elise is quiet the character, often coming off as shrewd and rigid, but when known in a private setting, can prove to be charming and sincere. She is a determined woman, always getting what she wants without ever giving up.
Being born British, her dry humor is often misread, but just the same, a smile will curve her lips, not caring if her acquaintances find the same response appropriate.
Being close to both Antony and Danae, she knows of the secret he harbors, but has been sworn to never reveal a word. Often times, they've spoken of it, but lately, as Danae becomes more and more advanced, the topic has been deemed off-limits. Just the same, she harbors a fondness for the Mendecant Superior and can only hope for the best for him.
Widowed at a young age, she knows that nothing is certain and despite appearances, she does attempt to live life to the fullest..

Morpheo was once a respected man, and a devoted friend, until the day came when he was granted the powers of a DreamWalker by the god of Dreams, Morpheus. His name fell into the crevasses of history, and only his given name, a subset of Morpheus remained. He was Morpheo, DreamWalker, the first...As his reign lasted, his sense of right and wrong faded. Casting stones and granted the darkest of wishes only to be exalted by the mortals, he unleashed a hell on earth so great that none could contain it. Morpheo, in a fury of desire for power, opened Pandora's Box, a deed that caused him to be trapped beneath the River Styx for all eternity. But now, the Prophecy of Alroth has come, the Demon residing within the body of a mortal man. It is this Demon that will free Morpheo, and it will be up to the three forces of the world, the Mendecants, the DreamWalkers, and the Avatars, to stop his black parade.
Note: For now, Morpheo is an NPC that Megs will cover if necessary, but since the Prophecy of Alroth is just beginning, he won't be needed for some time.

KEELIN LORCAN

Keelin was born in the same poor and oppressed state as Raelin, the younger sibling of the now prominent MSI Lead Investigator...But she had never known what her sister truly did until one ill-fated night when Raelin laid it all bare before her. Focusing on the fact that her life had been nothing more than a lie, rather than the gifts and blessings she had been granted, Keelin turned her back on Raelin, allowing the anger and hatred to build until the emotions blinded her and she felt her dear sister needed to pay. Fury makes one delusional, psychotic if you will, and Keelin is no different. Now no better than the crazed Blaine Cavan, Keelin embraces the darkness growing within her as the Prophecy of Alroth comes to be. Deep within her soul, there lives an evil of a great demon, once the love of Alroth, and destined to be again. The darkness within her caused her mother to die in childbirth, and slowly ate away at her father, for he knew what his young daughter's dark heart contained. Though her darkness gives her courage and strength, she still cowers in the presence of the vampire Marcus and the purely innocent resourcer, Danae. She will be a driving force to free Morpheo, and will use Blaine Cavan and his delusional methods to give the darkside the upperhand...

LUCAS "ALROTH" CASSIEN

He was an ordinary man, in his late twenties, living on the edge of Nebula, oblivious to the dark seed that he had been born from. His mother, a widower, had been visited one night by a cloaked man with blazing eyes. It was in her that this child was instilled, the child that would grow into the demon, capable of bringing forth the Prophecy of Alroth...The reincarnation of Alroth himself.
His mother never told him of the night, and took the secret with her to her grave, too ashamed of her own weakness to tell her boy how he came to be. Now, he works as a boatmen for the docks, and when the chilling wind blows, he feels no tingle in spine, but only a steady beating in his heart. He is evil...And he is coming to realize the powers that reside deep inside of him with every passing day. A child cries looking into his eyes, the orbs blazing red like that shadowed man from decades ago. The Prophecy is coming and his true nature shall be unleashed. It is then that he will find his mate, the dark bride of his past, Keelin Lorcan, and the two, with their pawn hellbent on revenge, Blaine Cavan, will bring hell to earth again.

AIDEN WALKER

The half brother of Danae Walker, and the result of a forbidden affair before the Alliance of MSI and DWU occurred. His father found his weakness in the DreamWalker of days gone by. Her beauty drew him in, and her power kept him prisoner. The affair was brief, a one-time occurence, but it was enough to create a child with the aptitude of a resourcer, the strength of a warrior, and the insight of a DreamWalker. Seven years her senior, Danae knows nothing of her brother until he arrives at MSI, having been called upon by Antony himself. It is his secret, the living proof of her father's betrayal that brings forth a dark secret in Danae's own past. He is the older brother she always wished for, and he does become close with Danae, even learning of her hidden attraction to her partner, Marcus Trellan, and serving as a steady force in her life when all that she knows is sent out of orbit. He trains with her for the few years after he come there, taking lessons from his younger sister who lives and breathes the essence of MSI. There will come a time when Aiden must choose between MSI and DWU, and only time will tell where his heart remains.

AVATARS OF THE ELEMENTS

ALIKA MOREAUX

Alika was born of the water, an act of the gods, combining the glistening drops and giving her shape as the one of the First Four. She is graceful, her motions fluid and precise. She was always favored for her ability to lead when the others would stray behind, causing the gods to hold her in high regard. As the world declined, Alika, along with the other, fell back into the shadows to control the element from the side. Now, she has been called from the depths of the sea and set on the land of Nebula in human form. She is a striking beauty, as they all are. Her eyes are an eerie bluegreen, like the sea from which she came, and her hair flows down her back like the rolling waves. Her smile is bright yet subdued.

A kind heart, but a firm ruler, Alika takes her responsibility too seriously sometime, but since she holds sway over the very thing that destroyed the earth once, she has the right to be.

When the alliance occurs, she finds herself working in close quarters with the very beings that she had been forbidden to even acknowledge before. She finds a friend in these mortals of MSI, and more in the DreamWalker, Drake Morpheus. They become close...They become bonded as one. Because of this, Alika views Raelin with a guarded eye, knowing that the woman feels for Drake, able to since the emotions beneath Raelin's surface, as wild and tumultuous as a storm stricken sea.

Alika is faithful and loyal to her avatars, and acts as a guardian and a guide for the Avatars of the Lesser Elements that study under her.

She came from the sparks that covered the earth, from the depths of the volcanoes that once dotted the land. Melisande is the most sporadic and spontaneous of all the Avatars, and though she exhalts her power and knows the consequences should it become uncontrollable, she now never misses a moment to live on the edge in her new human form. She is a lover of all things eclectic and finds herself amused for hours as she watches the people of Nebula. When it comes to her students of the Element of Fire, she is often exasperated before the lessons are finished, but never gives in. Rather than spending hours with one, she will work for a few hours, then leave them to work on their own, returning to correct the technique before vanishing again.

Her eyes are an iridescent blue, like the hottest of the flames, and her hair is a burning red, reminiscient of the lava that flowed from the rumbling volcanoes. Her skin is pale, her cheeks a rosy red, as if she sat constantly by a warming hearth.

When the other grows bored of their current occupation, it is to Melisande that they go, for a bit of fun and a reprieve of their purpose-driven lives. Her biting sarcasm is often a nuisance to Dean Rodriguez, Avatar of the Earth, and sparks surely fly between she and Tristan Licht, Avatar of the Air. It is only with Alika Moreaux, Avatar of Water, that she can be herself and hear no quarrels or qualms. Melisande listens to Alika's voice of reason, and the two are as close as Avatars of their power can be.

DEAN RODRIGUEZ

A combination of the dust of the earth, Dean is a calm and serene individual, content to sit in the fields of Dionysus and observe nature, rather than be amid the tumult of the world. He is the most open of all the Avatars, and those that study under him feel at ease in his presence. Because of all this, he is a hit with the women, who can view him first as a friend, and soon, he is seen as the object of their affection. Dean Rodriguez holds a close bond with Tristan, the two acting almost as brothers, while he and Alika rarely agree. Still, never one to argue with her views, as they are usually legitimate, he prefers to still rule from the sidelines and make no waves.

His skin is dark, like that of the deepest earth, and his eyes are a light brown, like the dusty sands of the deserts. His hair is black, like the burnt remains of the trees, and his voice is a deep rumble, reminiscient of an earthquake's aftermath. His touch is rough, calloused, and his gaze unwavering.

Dean is the essence of the earth, though he cringes to see the ruin that his element has become, swallowed by the sea.

TRISTAN LICHT

The most approachable of the Avatars, he can calm any enraged soul and do it all with a smile. His calm demeanor and charming countenance make him an instant favorite of most of the Avatars, save for Melisande. He becomes a confidante for the born leader, Alika, and a brother to his Earth brother, Dean. As he aides MSI, he finds a common bond with Marcus Trellan, the Vampire Investigator, and immediately, he sees the attraction between Marcus and Danae, however unexpected.

Tristan's eyes are blue, soft and subtle like a clear sky, and his hair is of the lightest blonde, as if the rays of sun shine through them always. His voice is soft, hardly raised unless he must be the mediator of the Avatars. His gait is sure, but graceful, and his gesture are long and flowing as he speaks, always using his hands.

He is one of the quietest of the Avatars, and when working with his apprentices of the Element of Air, he is always respectful of them, and rather than ordering them, he offers suggestions, in hopes that they will heed his instruction.
