Girlfriends and Boyfriends

Jake woke up at about two thirty in the afternoon. Him and Mike were up all night, the night before.
“Dude,” Jake said shoving Mike. “Dude, Mike what happened? Hey Mike, get up!!”
“Hey, hey!!” Mike said.
“Mike, I don’t know what happened last night!!” Jake looked around at all the empty beer and wine bottles on the ground.
“Oh my God! I think we need to clean up,” Mike said looking shocked at the sea of alcohol. They pushed themselves up, and picked up all the bottles and cans. Jake was stunned that he was so depressed that he had to drink to make his night better. His plan was still the same though.
“Do you have Meghan’s number in your phone?” Jake asked throwing cans away.
“Let me check,” Mike claimed and then flipped his black Razr open and looked through his contacts. “Here it is, but don’t tell Gin. She would slit my throat.” Jake grabbed the phone and wrote down Meghan’s number. He shut Mike’s Razr and walked over to his house phone, dialed the number on the sheet of paper, and waited. The phone only rang once before a preppy girl answered the phone.
“Hello?” Meghan said on the other line.
“Uh, hey Meghan, it’s Jake,” Jake replied.
“Oh, hi Jake. What’s goin’ on?
“Yeah, I was wondering if you…” Jake trailed off.
“If I what?” Meghan said cheerfully.
“Wanted to go out with me tonight,” Jake finally said.
“YES!”
“Okay, I’ll pick you up at seven thirty.”
“Okay, bye!” Then there was the dial tone.
“Jake, you know your screwed right?” Mike asked picking up his jacket and walking to the door.
“Just get out. Get yo’ jacket and get out.” Jake was walking behind Mike until the doorway was in between them.
“As long as you k____” Jake shut the door in his face and didn’t let him finish his sentence. He had to make himself look pretty if he wanted to go on a date with a cheerleader, even if it was for using her. He put on a oxford shirt, that was unbuttoned on the top 3 buttons. He had baggy jeans, with a belt to hold them up, and Vans for shoes. He was looking good. At around seven he said goodnight to Robin, and to stay out of trouble, then went to his old tiny mustang and left to Meghan’s suburban home. It was a nice neighborhood, unlike his ratty allies and dark streetlights. He turned to her driveway and honked his horn. Meghan came running out with a Juicy Couture with True Religion skinny jeans, Chanel flats, and a Louis Vuitton luggage tote. She would have been stunning to any other guy, besides Jake, because he had his heart on someone different. He got out of his car, and opened the passenger door for her, then walked back to his side of the car.
“So, I like your outfit,” Meghan said trying to start conversation with Jake.
“Yeah you too,” Jake said glancing for a second at her and then turning back to the road.
“Uh, yeah. So, where are we going?”
“Chips.”
“Oh, that’s cool.” Everything was quiet and awkward for Jake, even if it wasn’t for Meghan. When they got there he parked the car and opened her door, like a gentleman. They went inside and grabbed a table. Jake ordered for Meghan and for himself. They didn’t really talk at all. Before they received their meal, a familiar face walked in. Jessica and Cáel came waltzing in. Jake ducked a little, trying to hide from her.
“What are you doing?” Meghan asked, confused at what he was doing.
“Um, I think I, uh, dropped my fork,” Jake said nervously.
“Jake, your fork is right _____”
“Look is that Ashley Tisdale?”
“Where,” Meghan yelled looking over, giving Jake time to throw his fork on the ground. “That’s not Ashley.”
“Oh, I thought it was, sorry. Well I’m going to get my fork.” He ducked under the table, hoping that when he came up, Jessica and Cáel would not be there. After about five minutes, he came up, sitting on his seat.
“Uh, did you find it?” Meghan asked, confused with his behavior.
“Yeah, yeah, sure,” he said looking around for Jessica, then suddenly found her looking at him menacingly. Meghan looked over where Jake was looking.
“Oh, of course,” she said, throwing her napkin on the table. She slid her chair out and walked to the spot Jessica was sitting. Jessica’s stare changed to the approaching person. Meghan said something to her, shaking her hand and pointing at Jake. Soon after, she walked back over and sat down.
“I’m going to use the restroom,” Jake pronounced, getting up. He walked past Jessica’s table and to the restroom.
“I’ll be right back,” Jessica said to Cáel. She hastily got up and walked to the Men’s restroom door. She knocked on it, knowing that Jake was in there. No one answered, so she decided to wait. About a minute later Jake walked out of the stinky room.
“Hi Jake!” Jessica said roughly to Jake.
“Um, hi,” he answered looking around to see Jessica standing a foot from him.
“So you and Meghan are what, a couple now?”
“Maybe. Why does it matter, you have Cáel anyway!”
“That’s true, and I hope your happy. Dealing with the ONE girl I hate, right?”
“Well you knew I hated Cáel too, so why did you go with him?
“Hmm, probably because you have NO REASON TO NOT LIKE HIM!”
“Oh except for the reason that every second of the night he was looking down your shirt and at your ass!”
“You know what? He’s allowed to look down my shirt and at my ass! What does it matter to you?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Then dump Cheer Whore!”
“When you dump Punk Ass!”
“Fine then,” Jessica had a sneaky tone to her voice, “It’s on!” She left him, wondering what she was going to do. He walked back out and back to his table with Meghan. When he looked around he saw Jessica and Cáel making out, again. He wanted to jump over to Cáel and break his neck. But, he decided to play fire with fire. He looked at the gabbing Meghan, held his breath, and kissed. Tried to show as much emotion as he could. He went full on. He knew almost every eye in the restaurant was watching Meghan and him. When they stopped, he glanced over to see Jessica watching him angrily. He was going to win, so he grabbed Meghan’s hand, pulled her out of the booth and to the cash register. He paid the bill and walked with Meghan in his hand to his car, where he sat her on the hood and made out with her, pushing her up the car, and around his body. It could have been a movie scene. He could feel Jessica’s eyes watching his every move, so he decided to crank up the heat. He grabbed Meghan’s butt and pulled her on him, still making out with her. It must have been a show for the people in the restaurant. When he finally finished he looked back to see Jessica holding herself to her chair, clenching her teeth. Meghan walked to the passenger side, and Jake to the driver’s seat. He drove away from the awful restaurant that made him kiss a person that he had no passion for.

Jessica was astounded by what she had just witnessed. She could feel the tension in her mouth and her hands and well her whole body. But, why had she had so much tension? She didn’t want to know. She knew Cáel was there, so she made the best of it. He drove her home, to an empty house. She invited him in. She knew her father was at a convention in Los Angeles and wouldn’t be home for days. They watched a movie, making out in all the appropriate scenes. Once the sex scene came, Cáel decided to make a move. He grabbed her higher leg and started moving his hand up. He turned to look at her face as if to get the okay, and she seemed to be fine with the move, so he threw himself on her. He was unbuttoning her shirt, while kissing her. She seemed to be fine with it. He would unbutton one, then two. Still kissing her. She held onto his neck and allowed him to slip her shirt off. She flipped him over and was on top. Legs stratling him. She felt her bare skin touch his shirt as she kissed back. He kissed her undoing the back of her bra, and slipping it off, as he had did the shirt. He flipped back on her, wanting to see what he had. He looked at her bare chest and started unzipping her pants. She felt a little uncomfortable so she pulled his hands off the zipper. He was so preoccupied with taking her pants off. He looked at her stunned as she placed them on her bare stomach. She let him kiss.
“I’m sorry, I just didn’t feel right, doing it right now,” she explained.
“I understand,” Cáel said looking at her topless body. “I do like the kissing though.” He leaned in and kissed her hard. She kissed back, but with less passion.
“Me too,” Jessica said. He felt her top half of her body and kissed her in places she didn’t usually get kissed. He would feel her bottom half over her pants and kiss her some more. She seemed to be okay with that, unless it was sex. It wouldn’t have been right with him, not yet at least. He had his sexiness to him, holding her, and kissing her, and feeling her, the way he did. She knew what he wanted. She gave him a lot, just not it all. After a little while, she started drifting, and so did he. They were asleep. Sleeping off the almost sex night.
