~Prolouge~

Sometimes friends make the best lovers. Sometimes ex-lovers make the worst friends. And sometimes you need a slap in the face to realize what has been there all along.

This is a story as old as time. A story of a boy and a girl. The story of Tyler and Caddy*1. This is the story of how they went from friends to lovers. This is the story of why. This is the story of how we completely and totally screwed ourselves over*2. Now, I think I should get on with it. I s'pose the beginning is the best place to start. The beginning of the 8th grade*3, to be exact. That was when we really became friends*4.

~Chapter One ~ Caddy

Evening registration. Football practice. Yeah, that's how it all started*1.

I had gone to normal registration a few days previously, but I decided to go with my mom to my younger brother, Chris' football practice. I really went all the time that August, actually. But this time I went specifically because there was registration and I might see some people I knew.
Well when the registration started I walked up to where the long line of registrees were. I saw a friendly aquaintance of mine, Sam, who lived down the street from my Grandma. He was handing out station checklists to everyone that came. I talked to him for a little while, then a friend of mine who was going into High School the next year, Trina came and I was talking to her for a while. Then Sam decided to walk to his house and get a lawn chair so he wouldn't have to stand around for another three hours or whatever and handed his stack of papers to me. There weren't that many people coming, so I could mostly just keep talking to Trina.

Pretty much the only person I knew more about than their name was Tyler*2.
Tyler was with his mom so we said hi, exchanged smiles and I gave him a paper. Then I went back to talking to Trina and Sam came back soon after that. I left after a little while when my brother's football practice ended.

That was the beginning. I didn't know it then, but I know it now*3.



~Chapter Two ~ Tyler

I guess it all started at registration.

That day I had been hanging with Allie*4, Wade, and Timm*5. I had such a crush on Allie then. She was such a tease*6. She still is, but I don't care about her like that anymore.

I had gotten home just before my mom, so she wouldn't know that I had left my little brother alone and bribed him not to tell with $5. We headed up to registration. I was walking across the parking lot and I saw this girl who was friends with my friend Mitch. I thought she had been in one of my classes the year before, but I wasn't sure. I thought really hard, and managed to remember her name*7.

She came over and gave me this sheet of paper while we said hi, I didn't realize then that we were in for one hell of a year together. I could barley remember who Caddy was, how the hell would I have been able to even possibly think that what happened would happen?*8

2- We were friendly aquaintances, we didn't talk very much, and we had only had one class together in 7th grade. We knew each other more through a mutual friend.

7- It's Caddy. But it's not the same as in that movie about the bitchy girls, it's actually pronounced the way it's spelled.

~Chapter Three~ Caddy

I remeber thinking on the day of registration that Tyler had become a bit more attractive. He had never been unatractive, but I'd definitely seen better. I've still seen bettter than what he looks like now, but he's probably like an 7 or 8/10 in hottness. He's half mexican, but he looks mostly white. Just sorta tan all the time. He's got some freckles on and around his nose, which has a high bridge. Although it's not like a beak or anything. It's more flat, just high-bridged. His lips are small and his eyes are a chocolatey brown. His hair is dark brown and it's short. Not a buzz-cut, it just comes like most of the way down his forehead. If I had to make an estimate I'd say it's like an inch long or so. So yeah, attractive person. He was also now taller than my 5'3" hight. I'd say he was like 5'5" ish. I didn't really think of him as a possibility for my next boyfriend though. For one thing he was popular, not first-tier or anything but still in that whole group. I added him on myspace that night, but that wasn't a big deal at all.


~Chapter Four~ Tyler

What did Caddy look like at registration. Let's see, she was kinda' hot. Well her body was definitely kickin'. She was looking a little tan and her boobs were huge. Her shirt wasn't low-cut, which was a shame, but whatever. It was kinda' tight, so that was cool, I guess. Her hair was brown with some golden streaks in it, I think they were done professionally. And she had side bangs. The rest of her hair was up in a ponytail. Her eyes were a light brownish color, which I would find out later was mixed with a lot of green. She had a killer smile, with really nice teeth. Brace-free and everything. I don't think she ever had braces to begin with, actually. She's pretty good looking in general. She's got really...interesting eyes. Her lashes are really nice and I guess maybe you have to have nice eyes when you've got really nice boobs. Because otherwise guys would have no reason to look at the girl's face. She also has lips that aren't huge, but aren't thin either. They're really nice. Her nose is good too. It's a nice little slope. Of course I don't remember all of this from registration, but a lot of it. We only wsaw each other for like a minute or less after all, but I did happen to see her ass also. It's really nice too.
