What are friends here for?
They’re here to cheer you up when you’re down,
To play with you when no one’s around,
To be with you on a rainy day,
To chase all your troubles away,
To calm you down when you’re mad,
And you feel that absolutely everything has gone bad,
To make you feel like a star,
To show you who you really are,
To prove friendship will never end,
To show you how to be a friend,
To always show up with a smile,
To call every once- in- a- while,
To stand up for you when you are teased,
To always make you feel at ease,
To make you proud to be their pal,
And to make you feel like one special guy or gal!

topic's a little cliche to me, but i used to write really bad, so you'll find ways to spin things in your own view soon enough

Some parts of it were pretty good but I agree that its very cliched. Friendship poems always sound the same so I avoid those topics. But otherwise it was good.
