Okay, I'm thinking of writing a full album of songs. The album title will be Blue Bracelets and Tatooed Hearts. This song is called Forgotten Casualties. I have another song that I will post soon. I'm planning on recording the songs too, and creating a background track with garage band.

Forgotten Casualties

Peel back the skin and watch the,
Red rain fall.
Peel back the curtains and watch the,
Clear rain fall.
Peel back the lid and cry out loud.
You've come out of your shell,
And embraced your inner cloud.
It's a nine, or maybe a ten.
Embrace it now, because it may never come again.
And the sun shines down,
On you're happy town.

Live your life!
Don't let any one live it for ya.
Live you life!
To the highest extent.
Live your life!
Happy as a clam.
Live your life!
Let a few tears fall down.
Live your life!
The way it was ment to be lived.
Live your life!

Let the tears fall,
As you watch through a window.
Your eyes,
Are sad as can be.
Your life,
Is really quite nice.
Too bad you,
Really are blind.

Live your life!
Don't let any one live it for ya.
Live you life!
To the highest extent.
Live your life!
Happy as a clam.
Live your life!
Let a few tears fall down.
Live your life!
The way it was ment to be lived.
Live your life!

okay, a few spelling errors, eg it should be "peel"

it could stand to have a short third verse, and the second verse needs to be tweaked a little... the words are a teeny bit overused.

but other than that... it is a great song, interesting feel to the lyrics, light yet reflective. I don't think it's your BEST, but it is one of the best!

I'd rather not change it. It's just the way I ment it to sound. But don't worry, I'll have more songs coming soon.
