Hey you guys, read this and tell me what you think.

As the alarm went off, Amiah awoke in one of many master bedrooms in the three story house. She shut off the clock and gazed out of her window, through the thick trees that stood tall in front of her home. Since there were no cars besides hers in the driveway, she assumed that no one else was home. The house was tranquil, and she decided to have a bowl of cereal. She wanted to take a trip to the mall, but forgot that she had to show Brian around town. The phone rang and it was Lena saying that she would be vacationing in the Bahamas along with her father for the entire summer. Lena and Amiah always spent the summers together. Disappointed, but also happy for Lena, she hung up the phone, and as she walked away, it rang again. This time it was her father, Rickie Blare. “Hello.” “Who is this boy you’re supposed to be showing around today?” “His name is Brian Hillman, and he’s the new neighbor.” “Well be home before eleven tonight,” Mr. Blare demanded. Amiah hung up the phone, and gave a shallow sigh; she headed up the stairs to get dressed.
Reaching the door of Brian Hillman, Amiah stepped around the mail and rang the doorbell. Before Amiah could ring the bell a second time, the door swung open. Brian appeared in the doorway, his face was bloody and bruised, as if he had been in a fist fight. He slumped over, seeming like he would fall into Amiah’s arms. “Um, are you okay?” Amiah asked. “I’m alright; did you happen to see my father anywhere?” Brian asked repeatedly. “No, I didn’t see your father, are you sure you’re alright?” Amiah saw Brian’s shirt covered with blood, she didn’t know what was going on, and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to find out. “I think it would be best if you just leave now before anything unexpected happens,” Brain said. Confused and shaken up, Amiah didn’t waste any time hurrying out of the front door of Brian’s house. Proceeding down the steps, Amiah runs into Tony, Brian’s father. “What are you doing here Amiah,” he asked. ‘I-I just came over to see if Brian was still on for our outing, but I can see he’s not.” Amiah hurried to avoid any confusion, but Tony stoped her. “Amiah, don’t get too attached to Brian, and don’t get attached to this situation.” Not knowing exactly what Tony’s words meant, she walked away baffled, and wanted to know nothing more about her new neighbors.
