Seeing white frills and organdie
Classical piano
Relaxes the soul
Black sheep all around
With a cow or two
Sky seems lower,
Bluer, cloudless.
Broken, brown fences
With wire netting
And then I arrive
At the white-washed edifice
A simple cottage.
thank you so much coll!
right back atcha by the way, lol.
It's alot less dark than the poems often posted here, and it is somewhat refreshing. I don't know, it sort of reminded of Haiku? Is that the word I am looking for? No, maybe Imagist...lol...tired, so, oh well. But the point is that it was really good. So, congrats!
