All the way to California! All the way across the country. I'm trying to embrace my nerves. Change is a part of life. But I have one week left in the place I've called home for four years. And the idea of uprooting myself to settle in a strange place I know nothing about is frightening. Plus I miss my dad. He's already in Cali. It isn't the same without him here, making his annoying jokes or being impossibly hypocritical...
Has anyone ever made a move like this?

good luck on the move, i hope ul b happy there, i live in wales, UK and i hate it here, if it wasnt for my friends and family id have gone nuts, i soo have to move to america when im older, where in cali u moving too.

You lives in Wales? Oh, you're lucky. I love the British Isles. I want to move to Ireland, or at least visit it when I'm old enough. America's nice, but I guess because I've grown up here it's all just boring anymore.

Fortunately, the dayis nearing when we can get on the road. Unfortunately, this is the last day I will be able to post for awhile cuz tomorrow the internet gets turned off.
