Title: Milimeter Game
Description: strange I know, just trust me.

My relentless passion
It stops for nothing.
It slows for no one.
In fact,
it runs faster than any other.
It is eternal.
It is mine.
And it is me.

I live for life.
Passion makes mine a life worth living.

I strive for greatness.
Passion allows me to acheive sheer brilliance.

I strive to be the best.
Why do I always fall short?
And why by only a milimeter?
A tantalizing milimeter.
A milimeter large enough to turn my passion into,
rage.
confusion.
sadness.
These emotions multiplied by infinity.

****************
I have captured misery in it's very essense.
Or it has captured me.
This misery is such that very few have ever known,
or ever will.
Because it exists only in that milimiter,
so close to the top of the hill.

Using my desire,
my emotion,
my passion as it's toy.
Turns the force against me,
just to watch me die.

Will I never taste sweet success again?
There is no higher high.
I have tasted it's sweet nector,
but only once in my sad life.

To joy I say,
goodbye.
To love I say,
goodbye.
To hope,
it seems you never heard my cry.
I will never cease to wonder,
Why.

Anyone will tell me,
I have tasted more than
they ever can.
Yes.
And this is why you
can.
never.
understand.

My misery is mine.
And it is me.
Will always be.

Thanks so much! I didn't know I spelled 'millimeter' wrong. If I did, spell check didn't catch it.

Wow... this just screams passionate! This is one of those poems where you read it and really connect with it.
