Title: A Rose is a Rose
Description: ?

A Rose
as red as blood
as red as cherries
as red as your lips

A Rose
as soft as silk
as soft as a spiders web
as soft as your skin

A Rose
as pretty as the sky
as pretty as the sea
as pretty as you with all of your splender

Slowly the petals turn brown
And fall from the bud to the ground
The rose withered away
just as you did

I just wanted to write....lol

Interesting idea, I thought you could have had more emotion. Most poetry is writted with excessive emotion in order to get a message across. I like the thought behind it though.

:D Well, its great that whenever you wanna write something it can come out fairly well. I liked the parts about blood, spider webs, and then about the actual person. The metaphors about food and kittens, though, seemed to break the haunting flow to the poem.

Is that better? You were right...it was kind of cheap.
