OK, so i know its kinda long.. this is one of my older ones.. wrote it a long time ago

When you let your feelings go numb,
And you hurt just to feel,
When the pillow’s stained with tears
When the wound’s too deep to heal
When you spend your nights alone
Fighting back the pain,
When you lie to yourself,
When your feelings; you constrain
When the days seem unbearable
And you can’t take much more,
When you conceive no truth,
When your thoughts; you ignore.
When you feel so mislaid,
And no one hears your screams,
When all you see is darkness
When nothing’s what it seems.
When you feel it’s not worth it,
And you want to give in.
When you try so hard to fix it,
When you don’t want to begin.
When you have to ask yourself,
Why did I even start?
That’s when you know,
They’ve broken your heart.
When that time comes,
Remember to look long-ago
And recall that was me,
When you let me go.


When you feel so defeated,
And have nothing left to give.
When you’re world comes crashing down,
When you don’t want to live.
When you just see no light,
Cuz the tunnel hasn’t got an end,
When all you want is help,
When you don’t have a friend.
When no matter what you do,
It doesn’t go just right
When you’ve tried your best,
When you lose every fight.
When all the things you liked,
Just aren’t the same
When everyone seems better
When you hate what you’ve became
When everything’s left you,
And your only friend’s a knife
When you’ve lost all your hope
When you give up on life.
When you have to ask yourself,
Why did I even start?
That’s when you know,
