My breath is laboured
Secrets are still hidden

The rain tree extends out
As our family-like feelings do

I wish you could come home with me
Never leave me

A troubled poetess knows no limits to her sadness
So why burden her with an inescapable tunnel of it?

Maybe it was for the best
I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder

But as the fondness turns to tears
And I grow older and you are gone

I cry inside
Only to know you're too far to comfort me

To hug me close
And hold no judgement

Spinning, spinning
Making life dizzy with emotion

I don't think even you realise how much I love you
I will change
But my love never will
